The first show will see the All-Asia singles and tag team titles on the line! Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito def. Les Thatcher & Iron Mike DiBiase Two solid tag teams opened up the action. DiBiase survived having salt thrown in his eyes. Mr. Saito locked in the Scorpion on Thatcher until getting the submission. Dick Hutton def. Sweet Brown Sugar Both men displayed bad attitudes and it looked like Hutton was particuarly discusted that he had to wrestle Koko Ware. Hutton dominated, but Ware wouldn't go away easily. Hutton wore Ware down until winning with the backbreaker. The New Age Outlaws def. The Fantastics A highly anticipated matchup as a pile of great tag teams have come to Japan. Rogers and Fulton were rolling at the start. The Outlaws isolated first Rogers than Fulton for periods of time. The Roaddogg finished off Fulton with the Pump Handle Slam. Jonnie Stewart def. Bobby Shane Two guys here that on the surface could be tag team partners, with similar looks and styles. Soon though it was apparent they didn't like each other. Stewart controlled most of the action. They fought on the floor alot and it was Stewart's Flying Knee Smash that put Shane away. The New Midnight Express def. The Midnight Express These teams started a bitter feud in NAWA but haven't had many opportunities against each other due to the Iron Team Tournament. Now in Japan, they can go at it all they want! Jim Cornette interferred a lot at the start of the bout. Both teams were on top but it was Rose and Condrey coming out on top. A jumping knee by Rose and the Face First Leg Sweep by Condrey put Lane down for three. King Kong Bundy def. Giant Baba Two awesome big men slugged it out for a long time. Fans couldn't believe it when Bundy splashed Baba for a three-count, but demanded a five! Baba kicked out before five! They kept going toe to toe and fought on the floor as well. Bundy got the win with an elbow smash. BEST 2/3 FALLS ALL-ASIA TAG TEAM TITLES The Ortons (ch) def. Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki, 2-1 An awesome first fall with the champs really controlling the action. Buddy Rogers (ch), 2-1 Lou Thesz exploded to start the match. Twice with a Greco Roman Backdrop and Rogers took the three count to fall behind 1-0. Rogers came back though and evened this one at 1-1 with the Figure Four Grapevine. Thesz was in trouble but blocked a piledriver and used his Greco Roman Backdrop. Rogers kicked out, but Thesz dropped him backwards again to score the pin and win the All-Asia heavyweight title! Buddy Rogers wasn't happy and attacked Thesz after the match.

BEST 2/3 FALLS ALL-ASIA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE Lou Thesz (ch) def. King Kong Bundy, 2-0 An awesome first fall as King Kong Bundy came to play! The first fall went nearly 30 minutes and Bundy wouldn't let his title shot go to waste. It was a battle for Thesz to keep Bundy down but all along he was wearing him out. Double wristlocks finally brought the pin. (Bundy 4 coins, Thesz 3 coins) A seriously depleted Bundy didn't have anything left for the second fall. Thesz took it with a stepover toehold facelock.
