So, there's an indy show coming to town near me, and I'm thinking of going. A few attendees are already in the game.
I'm thinking I'd like to approach some of the others to see if they're interested, but I have no idea who's been signed already and don't want to look unprofessional. ("Hey, want to sign up for this great...oh, you already did. Sorry, I didn't know.")
Thoughts?

Basically you can talk to them about the game. Show them some cards if you want to take a few with you. If they're interested get some contact info for them, pass that along to someone at FG hqtrs, and give FG contact info to them.

Payback and I have tix to the ROH this Friday in Dearborn MI. Hass and Benjamin will be there. Christopher Daniels will be there. Main Event is Kings of Wrestling vs. American Wolves, all of which are already signed. But getting Benjamin would be awesome imo. I have a pretty good in with Claudio now, so who knows. That could help if I get a chance to talk to SB.

Haas/Benjamin would be a killer tag team to have. Good luck, Rob/Brett.

TWGTT would be awesome in LOW, but I think Shelton's card would need to be pretty good on its own as well, considering he accomplished quite a bit in singles matches.

I talked to Shelton Benjamin earlier this year at Wrestle Reunion 5. Although I got his and Hass's contact info and sent in on to Tom, I am not too optimistic because Shelton made it really clear he wants Benjamins to sign. But it is worth taking another shot at it, so good luck Rob.

Name some of the talent that will be there. Demolition (Ax & SMash), Kaval/Low Ki/Senshi, Dark City Fight Club, Manu (Samoan, formerly of Legacy), Tony Devito, "Roughhouse" Ralph Mosca, Sami Callihan, Christopher Francis Gray, Blain Rage, Bobby Fish, AR Foxm, Caleb Konley, "Harcore Giant" Ron Niemi, "Champagne" Larry Dallas I hope that the guys sign Haas and Benjamin, too, but we're kinda getting off the point of the thread. Also, I know I can take cards and talk to them--the contact isn't the problem. I think it would look foolish to have someone approach a guy who is already signed up and ask them to sign up. It looks unprofessional.

On another thread on this board, someone (I believe it was Lyle Williams) said he already talked to Sami Callahan. I talked to Low Ki last month at PWG about the game and he wants to go through his agent. So I am not too optimistic on him either (agents usually ask for fees,) although I still got his agent's contact info and passed it along to Tournament Master.
