Since Chikara is a brand all its own, will we see a LOTF set this year at somepoint?

Disappointing news for sure! Don't get me wrong, I'm totally psyched for Chikara, (especially after seeing the artwork!) but was kind of afraid this might happen to the next Legends of the Future set. I'm thinking we really, really need to push the .pdf issue on this one, as I cannot erase the memory of reading the post about the Dragon Gate signings oh so long ago!

I am always concerned with any signings (but especially LOTF guys) that if they have to wait to be released for too long, then they may get signed by WWE or TNA and then we won't get the card. I mean, I know that we got the Bryan Danielson card in the new online set, but still, I would hate to see someone not get a card.

If they sign with Filsinger Games on a date before they sign with the WWE or TNA, I believe they can still get a card. For example, Nigel McGuinness got his card released in Legends Partners (December of 2009) after he was signed by TNA earlier that year after his deal with the WWE fell through.

I am really interested to see the direction of a non Chikara LOTF set. I mean, don't get me wrong there are a ton of great indy wrestlers out there that we don't have cards for, but will the next set be guys who fit in with the Chikara world, or more of a stand alone thing? No matter what I am excited for sure.

No matter what I am excited for sure. Well an actual LOTF set isn't a stand alone set. I am guessing LOTF 4 would have a combination of CHIKARA wrestlers and non CHIKARA wrestlers as that was the case for LOTF 1, LOTF 2, and LOTF 3.

LOTF4 would be like the other three sets, fitting in as a whole with LOW. It has been said that the Chikara set is not considered a LOTF set, so wrestlers in the next LOTF wouldn't be statted out the same way.

the CHIKARA cards are definltly statted to fit in with all LOW and LOTF cards. The only reason the set isn't officially considered LOTF4 is strictly for marketing purposes. It would be confusing to pitch an all CHIKARA set to new players and fans as "LOTF4".
With that said, the doors this set are now opening will have a lot to do with future LOTF sets. You never know what could be coming next!
