Just got this off the Chikara website:
"Martyr Yourself to Caution" Sunday, September 18th Manhattan, NY
Don't know the exact location of the event yet, [I'm guessing maybe Hammerstein Ballroom] but would anyone be up for meeting up before the show, maybe grabbing some burgers & brews and discussing the greatest game in the world? Saw the pics from Chicago over the past weekend & got inspired...

The Chikara show will actually be at the Highline Ballroom www.highlineballroom.comThe ballroom is by South Street Seaport, so lots of dining options there. Most any other weekend I would be down for a show that close to me, but that day is my wife's birthday...so not sure I will be able to swing it. I do plan to go to Philly and possibly Reading in July and Night 2 of Young Lions Cup in August in Easton.

Thanks for the info! Now we just need to convince your wife there's no better way to spend a birthday than at a live wrestling event!

I'm sure my wife would love to go with me, and go to South Street Seaport...but its the 2 little ones that we would have to figure something out for. Makes life much tougher.

Hey man, my wife wants to go as well and that means leaving my little one with someone (which, by the the way has YET to happen). We can talk, but it would be fun to go!

CHIKARA at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan, NY on Sunday, September 18th. The 70's and 80's band, BLONDIE will be there a couple of days earlier for two nights. That don't mean nothing. I grew up on MOTLEY CRUE, METALLICA, AC/DC and GUNS N' Roses. That was great.
