ONLY THE BEST First Round Results...
SINGLES
ENDGAME crushed SLY DRURY then taunted the aggressive Aethran crowd with a promise that "No Aethrans will win a tournament here tonite."
HECTOR elminated ENCUBUS after I KNOW YOUR SECRET.
THANTOS upset the AETHRAN OVERMASTER to humiliate the Aethran leader in front of the home crowd. Some people in the crowd were calling for PARALYZE as the new leader of the Aethrans.
HAVOC used FALLEN DREAMS to beat COVEN BLACK in a 5-star match. (Havoc had 10 tokens and Black had 6). HAVOC, bleeding yet again, has proven he's got more heart than anyone in the GWF. The Aethran crowd showed their disapproval of HAVOC'S victory with absolute stone silence.
TAG
RUSH and TURMOIL eliminated Hornet's Nest when TURMOIL pinned SWARM after CHAOS IN THE CROWD. The crowd showed their approval in Aethran style- pounding their metal boots on the floor to create an ear-splitting driving aggressive cacophony of sound!
INTEGRITY beat TRICKS and ORACLE in a big comeback when MALKUTH pinned TRICKS.
STARS AND STRIPES beat ULTIMATE FIGHTERS in a tag classic when U.S. MALE pinned CLINCH after SEIZE THE DAY.
THRAXX AND ZYGON beat TRISTAN and the BETRAYER with THRAXX dominating the match with his power and pinning TRISTAN. The Aethran crowd was not pleased.
HEAVY METAL
NOSFERA eliminated ANIVAR with DEMON'S BREATH.
PARALYZE beat PANTHER WARRIOR with PERMANENTLY PARALYZED and several Aethrans chanted his name as if to show disapproval to the OverMaster for his loss.
PAGANAX used PAGAN VOID to finish off PAYBACK.
RETRIBUTION avoided the HELLFIRE and beat BISHOP HELL with GROUNDING THE DEMON.

I love how you worked the Monolith storyline into the first trip to Aethra, and the descriptions of the crowd's reactions. Great stuff!
All faces in the singles tourney? I'm gonna go with Endgame and Havoc. Gladiators and S&S (although Master Race would be a good showdown on Aethra) and Nosfera and Paralyze (in a close one, but he seems to dominate for me... plus homefield advantage)

The drama unfolds...
ENDGAME teaches rookie THANTOS a lesson, clobbering him in short time and finishing with ROLLING FIGURE FOUR.
HECTOR defeated HAVOC, no comeback this time for a battered and bleeding Havoc. Ends with I KNOW YOUR SECRET. A finals btw Hector and Thantos would have been interesting since they're friends, but not meant to be.
ENDGAME has won the singles bracket of ONLY THE BEST 4 times which ties him for all-time lead (with Thunder I believe, don't have my stats in front of me). He'll be all-time leader with 5 if he can beat Hector.
RUSH and TURMOIL eliminated INTEGRITY when TURMOIL pinned MALKUTH after TOTAL TURMOIL. Glads dominated. Fans go wild, not by screaming (Aethrans are above that) but again by stomping metal against metal and making a huge racket in unison.
THRAXX and ZYGON beat STARS and STRIPES when Zygon finished American Guy with POWER OF KROLL. Fans react with icy silence. Glads vs Thraxx and Zygon will be intense. Master Race won ONLY THE BEST 25 tag bracket.
NOSFERA beat RETRIBUTION in a cage match with DEMON'S BREATH. Nosfera won Heavy Metal bracket in last ONLY THE BEST so he's going for 2 in a row.
PARALYZE won over PAGANAX in an epic battle of behemoths with HEART TRANSPLANT. Aethran fans are pleased to see Gladiators in the finals in 2 of the 3 brackets. Overmaster greeted Paralyze when he left the cage and Paralyze showed his support for Overmaster by walking behind him to the dressing room area. Overmaster's loss will probably be overlooked by Aethran fans if Glads win one or two brackets though they really wanted to see Overmaster get #1 contender status by winning ONLY THE BEST and then beating Endgame for Heavyweight Belt. Didn't happen though.

ONLY THE BEST 27 FINAL RESULTS
For the record so you guys know how bad I am at predicting results I was 0-3!
HECTOR wins the singles bracket by making a strong comeback and beating ENDGAME with I KNOW YOUR SECRET! Aethrans stomp their approval and raise fists for HECTOR because they hate Endgame! HECTOR motions as if he has a belt around his waist. Will he challenge Endgame for the Heavyweight Belt?
RUSH and TURMOIL delight Aethran fans by destroying THRAXX and ZYGON. RUSH pinned THRAXX and the Master Race complained of a fast count and favoritism towards the Glads on Aethra.
NOSFERA defeated PARALYZE to win his third Heavy Metal tournament for ONLY THE BEST and second in a row. Aethran fans were silent.
ANOTHER THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE ONLY THE BEST PAY PER VIEW.

This is huge as Hector is testing the waters about splitting with Endgame. But would he ever join Sly Drury???

Hardcore Titan Death: NOSFERA vs AETHRAN OVERMASTER
Overmaster goes for revenge against Nosfera for beating Paralyze at ONLY THE BEST. Also both men are top contenders for Heavyweight Belt.
Hardcore Titan Death: ULTIMATE FIGHTERS vs MASTER RACE
This is very important match for tag rankings.
Sly Drury demands it: SWARM vs BISHOP HELL
This is billed as "Hornets vs Fire" as SWARM is defying Sly Drury with his hornet attacks and no one has been able to stop him! The infamous BISHOP HELL will try.

Card 761 from Andromeda Nebula Pavillion:
ENDGAME pins SLY DRURY after ULTIMA LEAP in a Triple Threat match that also involved HECTOR. Endgame and Hector had some bad feelings going in but Endgame saved Hector by knocking Sly off the turnbuckle when he was about to jump off onto Hector. Endgame then finished off Sly to the delight of the fans and Endgame and Hector left the ring together.
COVEN BLACK defeated VIDTEK by DQ to keep the Interplanetary Belt. Vidtek was brawling with Black outside the ring but Encubus entered the fray and attacked Black leading to a DQ for Vidtek. Vidtek was ticked off at Encubus blaming him for the loss. Encubus grabbed and shook Mother Superior as if he was trying to break her out of the spell Coven Black has placed on her.
NOSFERA defeated AETHRAN OVERMASTER in a Hardcore Titan Death Match with DEMONS BREATH. Nosfera is now the #1 contender for the GWF Heavyweight Belt.
ULTIMATE FIGHTERS beat THRAXX and ZYGON in a Hardcore Titan Death Match when Shoot made Zygon TAP OUT. Ultimate Fighters are now #1 contenders for tag belts.
SWARM beat BISHOP HELL but an enraged Sly Drury came out after the match and demanded a rematch in a Circinus Cell!
PAYBACK stunned a bewildered ENCUBUS by beating him in less than two minutes. Encubus seemed distracted that Mother Superior did not accompany him to the ring and was looking at the runway when Payback started his attack.
TRICKS and ORACLE defeated TANCK and GRYT when Tricks used AX MURDERED to pin Tanck.
MALKUTH beat his former partner PANTHER WARRIOR with LORD OF THE POUNCE. The two men shook hands at the onset but the heat got turned up during the match.
DIALECTAS leads 22-20.

Card 762 from Andromeda Nebula Pavilion:
NOSFERA defeated ENDGAME with SPRING HEEL KICK to become the new GWF Heavyweight Champion. This was an incredibly exciting 5-star match and it ended with Omen blinding Endgame with his torch which was followed by Nosfera's finisher.
SLY DRURY beat HECTOR in a Ladder Match. Drury grabbed the teddy bear dangling above the ladder and quickly ripped it open to see what was inside. To his horror a swarm of hornets flew out and Drury fell off the ladder, rolled out of the ring, and ran to the dressing room! Hector was pretty badly beaten by Drury and was helped out of the ring by Swarm.
BISHOP HELL made a comeback to beat SWARM with HELLFIRE in a Circinus Cell Match. Sly Drury accompanied Bishop Hell to ringside and he's made a campaign of trying to stop Swarm's reign of hornet terror in the GWF. Hector responded by coming to ringside with Swarm. This match occurred immediately before the Ladder Match.
AETHRAN OVERMASTER and PARALYZE defeated HAVOC and ANIVAR by DQ when the Ultimate Fighters stormed the ring and attacked Paralyze after he used PERMANENTLY PARALYZED on Havoc. All the members of Covert Operations and the Gladiators got into a wild ringside brawl!
ENCUBUS easily defeated VIDTEK with SECOND COMING. After the match he grabbed a mic, pointed at Vidtek, and said Coven Black was next.
MOTHER SUPERIOR beat SULTANA with help from a distraction by Coven Black. Payback appeared at ringside with Sultana and tried to attack Black but Black threw powder in Payback's eyes causing him severe pain and temporary blindness.
MANTIS and PANTHER WARRIOR beat TRISTAN and the BETRAYER.
NITRO used BAD VIBRATIONS to beat a dehydrated PLETHADOR.
Dialectas leads 26-20.
