Power game in effect for this one. I expect to see Monolith or Aethran Overmaster to take this one, though Paralyze is a force to be reckoned with. Though Destructon 3000 had a sizable edge over the competitors of his time, the newest superstars have stats that more than make up for the difference IMO. I wasn't playing COTG when Destruction 3000 was released, but looking at his card - DANG! That card would have been hard to beat!

I was up to 2109 before I took about 5 years off and then I decided to reset (I am currently in 2085 - almost done with EC!!!), and I had to officially retire Destructon in my fed because it was not even close to being fair. He wad a 23 or 24 match win streak at one point, IIRC.

These are fun events!! They kind of remind me of another Kronos Fed from about 10 years back on the old boards. The promoter had the 8 or so most dominant cards create a guantlet that someone had to wrestle through and based on their results, they were either added to the core of elites or not.
IIRC, some of the "elites" were Chaos, Alpha Force, Star Warrior, Thantos, Wolf... I think that this was about the time of 2115ish...
Anyone remember these events?

The hooded figure again appears on the Holovision
Let the second Event begin.
Event #2: Tag Team Survival
Round #1:
Bout #1: Disaster & Holocaust vs. Paralyze & Monolith - This entire tournament is comprised of monstrous men, but the team of Paralyze and Monolith look confident heading into this match-up. Holocaust scored the first elimination at 10:53 with his Shockwave on Paralyze. Monolith came in like a warrior possessed and laid waste to both Disaster and Holocaust. Monolith eliminated Holocaust at 21:06 with his The End of All Things. Then Monolith eliminated Disaster with his Monolith Torture Rack at 24:22 to advance his team to the next round.
Bout #2: Tanck & Dreadnaught vs. Paganax & Andre the Giant - Paganax and Andre dominated from the start, isolating Tanck early, with Paganax scoring the elimination at 4:02 with his Roaring Elbow. Paganax then advanced his team with his Pagan Void on Dreadnaught at 4:35.
Bout #3: Warfare & Man-Mountain vs. Brute & Massif - Massif and Brute would never team-up in the GWF, but this is the Power Series and that will make for strange tag team partners. Massif pounded on Man-Mountain and used his Volcanic Drop to eliminate him at 7:01. Warfare nailed Massif as soon as the Man-Mountain was eliminated. Massif was reeling, as Warfare pushed the action and used his Warlock to send the GWF vet packing at 10:30. Brute and Warfare, two tag team specialists and powerhouses blasted each other with everything they had. Brute was able to score the win with his Brain Buster at 12:28.
Bout #4: Hybrid & Chopper Mattock vs. Aethran Overmaster & Destruction 3000 - Aethran Overmaster had a very weak showing in his first Power Series. He wanted to have a much stronger showing and did so here, as he used his Reign of the Overmaster to take out Chopper at 7:19. Hybrid hit the ring and was smashed with a huge clothesline. Overmaster was unable to secure the pin on Hybrid, so he grew enraged. He grabbed the ring-steps from the far side of the ring and smashed Hybrid in the face with them. The ref called for the DQ at 13:40, but Hybrid was the one left worse-for-wear. Destruction 3000 came in and was toying with Hybrid. D3K thought he had this match well in hand, but Hybrid turned the tables and used his Poison Driver to win the match and advance his team at 24:48.
Round 2:
Bout #5: Paralyze & Monolith vs. Paganax & Andre the Giant - After being eliminated in the first match, Paralyze was looking to redeem himself. Andre pounded the stuffing out of Paralyze and scored the pin after his Big Splash at 6:19. Monolith, again, came in and showed why he is a force of nature. Monolith and Andre battled like two titans, with Monolith scoring the elimination at 17:10 with The End of All Things. Paganax charged in and was met with Monolith's fury. Monolith again used The End of All Things at 17:21.
Bout #6: Brute & Massif vs. Hybrid & Chopper Mattock - Massif and Brute attacked at the start, driving Chopper out of the ring and double-teaming Hybrid. As the ref was pushing Brute out, Massif nailed a piledriver on Hybrid and scored the elimination at 3:16. Chopper battled back and used his Battle Axe on Massif at 12:10 to even up the sides. Brute pounded on Chopper, but was not able to keep him down. Brute finally was able to down Chopper with his Brute Force at 23:14.
Round #3: The Finals
Bout #7: Paralyze & Monolith vs. Brute & Massif - Paralyze has been embarrassed twice before and now he was furious heading to the ring. Paralyze used his Heart Transplant on Massif at 8:03. He then turned his rage on Brute and ended the Event with his Permanently Paralyzed at 19:57.
winners: Paralyze & Monolith

No one has ever won all 3 Events. She-Devil only won 2. Paralyze gets hot and runs the singles tourny, he could be the first triple crown winner.
