Its kind of ironic that the "Original Outlaw" Jack Hood would eliminate "The Outlaw" Sly Drury. At least it is for me since those are the nicknames they picked up in my promotions.

All in all a good start to the power series. Congrats to Thunder.

1. Star Warrior (2) and Genocide each had 4 eliminations to tie for the most in the tournament.
2. This is also the first Power Series Battle Royal that Paralyze has been entered into that he did NOT win. (He was the last man eliminated here)
3. LOW wrestlers eliminated no one.
4. 16 different men made eliminations.

Event #2: Tag Team Elimination

Round #1

Bout #1:
Lou Thesz & Harley Race vs. Paralyze & Thunder
- Thunder used his Gladiator Piledriver to eliminate Race at 2:05. Thesz then used his dropkicks to eliminate Thunder at 20:02 and then his step-over toehold facelock to eliminate Paralyze at 24:16.

Bout #2:
Bishop Hell (2) & Thantos vs. Monolith & Genocide
- This was that Thantos show, as he used his Materlock to eliminate Genocide at 12:05 and then Monolith at 14:37.

Bout #3:
Endgame & Pegasus vs. Matador of M83 & Andre the Giant
- Andre used his Big Splash to eliminate Pegasus at 5:01. Endgame used 2 Ultima Leaps to down Andre at 8:48. He then used an Ultima Leap and Rolling Figure Four to down Matador at 21:22.

Bout #4:
Doomsday Creature & Nick Bockwinkel vs. Wolf & Nicodemus
- Wolf eliminated Doomsday Creature via DQ at 8:02. Nick used his Bockwinkel Sleeper to eliminate Wolf (at 9:48) and Nicodemus (at 11:00).

Bout #5:
Iron Hand & Sly Drury vs. Destruction 3000 & Colossus
- Colossus eliminated Sly with his Cyborg Deathblow at 19:27. Iron hand answered back with his I Run This Fed to eliminate Colossus at 24:56 and D3K at 26:56.

Bout #6:
Encubus & Overtime vs. Star Warrior (2) & Turmoil
- SW2 got the COR elimination on Overtime after a huge cross-body to the floor at 8:05. Encubus used 2 Second Comings to eliminate the SW2 at 14:03. After a real war, Turmoil was able to get past Encubus with his Triple Suicide at 26:33

Bout #7:
Big Superstar & Chaos vs. Star Warrior & Disaster
- Big Superstar used his Superstar Drop at 5:15 to eliminate Star Warrior. Disaster evened the teams, when he used his Rampage to eliminate Big at 5:58. Chaos used his Bow of Defeat on Disaster to advance his team at 11:54.

Bout #8:
Aethran Overmaster & BDK vs. Jack Hood & Alpha Force
- Alpha used his Ultimate Faceoff to bounce Aethran Overmaster at 7:58. BDK got on a roll and eliminated Alpha at 16:40 and Hood at 24:11, both using The Big Kill.


Round #2

Bout #9:
Harley Race & Lou Thesz vs. Bishop Hell (2) & Thantos
- Thesz looked like a man possessed, as he used his Thesz Press to eliminate BH2 at 3:40 and then 2 Greco-Roman Backdrops on Thantos at 4:08.

Bout #10:
Endgame & Pegasus vs. Doomsday Creature & Nick Bockwinkel
- Doomsday used his Dismemberment on Pegasus at 2:46. Endgame knocked off Doomsday with his Rolling Figure Four at 6:01 and advanced his team at 6:31, with an Ultima Leap on Nick.

Bout #11:
Iron Hand & Sly Drury vs. Star warrior (2) & Turmoil
- Iron hand fired SW2 out of the ring at 27:03 to eliminate him via COR. Iron then used his I Run This Fed on Turmoil at 29:21.

Bout #12:
Chaos & Big Superstar vs. Aethran Overmaster & BDK
- Big Superstar used his Superstar Drop to eliminate BDK at 3:02 and then AO at 14:38, to advnce his team to the next round.


Round #3

Bout #13
Lou Thesz & Harley Race vs. Endgame & Pegasus
- Race got himself DQed, when he refused to leave the ring as he was double teaming Endgame at 10:11. Thesz then took over and used his Greco-Roman Backdrop to eliminate Endgame at 14:48 and Pegasus at 16:25.

Bout #14:
Iron Hand & Sly Drury vs. Chaos & Big Superstar
- Sly was DQed when he nailed Big with some object that he had tucked into his boot at 3:46. Big used his Superstar Drop at 8:33 on Iron to advance his team to the finals.


Round #4

Bout #15:
Lou Thesz & Harley Race vs. Chaos & Big Superstar
- This match saw Big Superstar escape several near falls early, just to have the tide wing and give Chaos the opportunity to take control. Chaos used his Chaos Stranglehold at 13:17 to eliminate Thesz. Chaos then used his Bow of Defeat twice to down Race at 25:03.
