Great Tourny and congrats to reno on winning... Yeah, it was a good tournament and I had fun playing the contest. I am still surprised I got 2nd place because I am still in early 2128 and I am thus sort of unfamiliar with some of the newer COTG wresters. I think one reason I got alot of points is because I kept picking Mister Vega who managed to advance all the way to the Quarter-Finals before finally losing to Endgame. Again, congrats to Reno and thanks to Old Skewl for having this great idea!

Card#911MOT: Good evening fans and welcome to the Morning Star Temple! The GWF is on the cusp of a new era as the Black Death affliction has been diminishing. Mainly due to the mysterious fleet that appeared out of thin air inside of the Ground Zero protective force field (Editors Note:see events on Card #904 for more detail) and leveled the asteroid.
KRAM: Everybody already knows that Mot! What the ‘unwashed masses’ did not know is that the occupants of the lone surviving Scorpi Battle Cruiser has been cleared from quarantine and will finally disembark from that hunk of junk.
MOT: Well Kram, that will be broadcasted at the end of the show. However fans, a great event is planned this evening as not only will the United Stars Championship be defended but the final three qualifying matches for the Tenth Day Turmoil Match will be featured.
KRAM: Blah...blah...blah...tell all the dullards at our first break! The production manager has been signaling for you to wrap this up for some time now. Sadly, we send you to the squared circle for our first series of so-called matches...
**UNITED STARS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH (BEST OF 3 Falls)** Overtime stunned Ghena (2 Falls to 1): It looked as though Ghena was going to run away with this match as he put a serious ‘hurt’ on the challenger! The bout started with Ghena catching Overtime with a wild backhand swing and following up with a Cranium Missile. The Saturn native reeled from this attack and would be caught in a Certain Death maneuver and the lethal BRAIN BASHER before having his shoulders counted down for the three! The second fall witnessed much of the same with Ghena using his hardcore styled antics to punish Overtime! The Titan would battle through the pain and after Ghena attempted a Camel Clutch Suplex- Overtime countered with a Master Blaster! The challenger wasted no time and used his own finisher- OVERTIME RULES to even the series. The final fall witnessed Ghena getting frustrated after his repeated assault on his blood drenched opponent failed to score a pinfall! This frustration would be his downfall as Overtime took full advantage of the exasperated champion and countered a GATES OF HELL with a school boy roll up to become the new United Stars Champion (****).
Fhanna shut down Taichi: Thantos introduced his new valet on Card#904 but Fhanna has found little success with her inexperience causing her more losses than victories. In this match, that was not the case as the Procyon vixen simply ran circles around Taichi. Fhanna caught her opponent in an ‘Eye Candy For You’ and performed THE OTHER WOMAN for the referee to slap the canvas three times. (* 1/2) The arena filled with jeers as Zygon made his way to the squared circle. He grabbed a microphone and climbed into the ring. “I know that I am not exactly one of the most liked superstars in the GWF especially since I freely joined the Black Death supergroup. I have had a great career...” Zygon paused; “and have held the Galaxian Tag Team Championship six times with my former partner, Thraxx. A feat that only a few can say they’ve done and I am thankful for every minute of it. I want to sincerely apologize to the entire universe for my role in the Black Death affliction..I should have never joined such a heinous group.”
The Kroll native began to tear up and continued, “Unfortunately, with The Immortals being Galaxian Champs and no one trusting me, I will never regain the glory of old...I am here to officially announce my retirement from professional wrestling.”
Unexpectedly Sur and Bex walked out to the entrance ramp, they seemed to be discussing something before Sur asked for a microphone. “Listen here...first of all, you are a nothing but a washed up shell of your former self and Black Death only embraced your sorry carcass to put more species in it’s clutches! Secondly, Bex and I are THE GREATEST team EVER and if you think you can find a partner that feels sorry enough for you to team with...The Immortals will put up our championships at HOSTILE TAKEOVER!”
Zygon nodded his approval and made a motion around his waist reminiscent of a championship. Bex decided it was his turn to speak and grabbed the microphone from Sur, “Buuutttt....if you and whoever you find to be your partner lose at the PaPer View, you both must retire and NEVER show your face here in the GWF again!” With that said, Bex slammed the microphone on the ramp and the Galaxian Tag Champions walked back to the locker room leaving a worried Kroll native in the center of the ring. Bishop Hell charred Splatter: The enforcer for the Legends team seemed distracted this evening and was easily manhandled by the fire slinger. After Bishop Hell caught Splatter in a Cult Cross Body Block, he used HELLFIRE to end the bout. (1/2 *)
Scorn upset Andrea: The number one contender to the Woman’s Championship had her hands full with the former Woman’s champ. Andrea used her size and power to her advantage but Scorn obviously did her homework as the Luyten’s Star native countered a big choke with an awe inspiring bridging fallaway slam! This stunned the Giantess long enough for Scorn to execute the BURNING SCORN finisher for the unlikely victory! (****)
Star Warrior lost to Shayne (by disqualification): A shame! This match could have been a great one as both combatants traded holds back and forth for several minutes. However, Thantos came down to ringside and started to run his mouth toward Star Warrior. The Legend member grabbed a chair and started to swing toward Star Warrior but for some reason stopped in mid swing. He blasted the Earthling instead (causing an automatic disqualification) and hurriedly left ringside before any retaliation from either combatant could be extracted. (DUD) MOT:What a series of matches! Thantos is eventually going to have to answer for that chair shot to Shayne but I have just been informed by Euritar that Thantos and Star Warrior will face one another in an Cetus Strap Match at the HOSTILE TAKEOVER PaPer View!
KRAM: That’s going to be brutal Mot...watching too over hyped goofballs slap each other with a leather strap. Ummm...no thanks...You forgot to let the ‘unwashed masses’ know that the Board of Director’s lackey handed us this! [Kram lifts up a piece of paper]
MOT: Let me see that! [Mot reads and the paper and gasps in disbelief] Ladies and gentlemen, this year’s Tenth Day Turmoil Match will have six participants but only FIVE qualifying matches. The Board of Directors have given the sixth spot to an unnamed superstar that will be revealed at the PaPer View.
KRAM: Wait...what!?!?! Of course, the Board of Directors is giving the final spot to a goodie two shoes...I just know it! Lame! [Kram scoffs] Since you won’t let everyone know exactly what the Tenth Day Turmoil Match is, let me enlighten the heathens. Six individuals will battle in a ladder match to grab a contract that will grant the winner the tenth challenger’s spot in this summer’s TitleRun Tournament.
MOT: I was getting to it! You sir, are very impatient this evening. For all that do not know what the TitleRun Tournament is, it is a Championship challenge that has every champion face a gauntlet of ten challengers in ten days. An accomplishment that has only been done by Hall of Famers Disaster and the original Thantos IP Tournament! We send you back to ringside.... Warrior’s Born grounded Titan Death: The momentum in this contest swayed back and forth for close to ten minutes before anyone gained the upper hand. Thraxx used a Muscle Buster on The Betrayer that made many at ringside cringe in pain before tagging out to his partner, Tharkas. The Centran immediately used an OBLITERATOR before tagging back out to Thraxx and the two performing the COUNCIL OF WAR finisher for the three count. (****)
**Tenth Day Turmoil Qualifying Match** Monolith squashed Harbinger: “The Big Man” tossed the Serpens Cauda native around pretty easily. Monolith opened up the bout with a Crashing Stampede and it went downhill from there for Harbinger! After an armless airplane spin, the Animan climbed to the top turnbuckle and executed a breathtaking CATASTROPHE for the duke. (*)
Ultimate Fighters pounded Mean Streets: The duo of Patch and Skiver seemed a little off and were manhandled by the MMA fighters. Shoot leveled Skiver with a TAPPED OUT! before tagging out to Clinch. Clinch entered the square circle and blasted the rookie with a FLYING KICK TO HEAD KO for the three count. (*)
The Arena’s vidscreen lit up the arena and screen shots of last year’s spring classic HOSTILE TAKEOVER filled the vidscreen. “ On Card #912, the universe will witness one of the most anticipated matches of the year as several superstars will participate in the Tenth Day Turmoil Ladder match to determine the final challenger for the Titlerun series! Also, the winner of the Bunkhouse Brawl Series- Aethran Overmaster- will get a chance of a lifetime to reclaim the coveted Galaxian Heavyweight Championship! The small star system of Aquarias is bracing itself as the HOSTILE TAKEOVER PaPer View is coming...” **Tenth Day Turmoil Qualifying Match** Rush outwrestled Havoc: The Aethran Cruiserweight had no problem shutting down the high powered offense of Havoc! Rush used a Sky Bomb Stunner and followed up with consecutive ADRENALINE RUSHES to cover the traitorous Aethran for the three. (*)
**Galaxian Tag Team Championship Non-Title Match** The Immortals(ch) defeated UltraMantis: Bex and Sur has not really been challenged since they won the tag straps at the FRIGHT NIGHT PaPer View (Card #859) and this match was no different. The Immortals tagged in and out at will and cut the ring proverbially in half. After only four minutes passed, Bex delivered a MORTAL MUTILATION to end the bout. (**)
**Interplanetary Championship Non-Title Match** Aethran Overmaster flattened Swarm(ch): This match was signed as a result of “Pick Your Poison” stipulation and Payback chose the Interplanetary Champion as Overmaster’s opponent for this card. The Aethran steamrolled the Animan and used several Overmaster Overhead Tosses to weaken the champion’s resolve. Overmaster pointed to the HOSTILE TAKEOVER marquee and leveled Swarm with the REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER for the duke. (*).
MOT: What a series of matches! With the Rush’s victory, this places the Tenth Day Turmoil Match qualifiers as Ensor, Endgame, Nosfera, Monolith, Rush, and a yet named mystery participant. Ladies and gentlemen, we leave you with the roving vidcam at the Illiad Space Port! We hope to see you next broadcast at the HOSTILE TAKEOVER PaPer View! Good night! The vidcam panned the Iliad Space Port and slowly orbited around both sides of the battle scarred Scorpi Battle Cruiser. The vidcam’s feed clearly showed that the cruiser was severely damaged in the clash with the Ground Zero asteroid. There were several torn open chambers that were leaking fluids and some kind of gaseous substance.
Suddenly the hatch ,located in the middle compartment, slowly opened and a platform extended toward the landing dock. The port security quickly scrambled with pristine precision and hunkered down in case of a terrible scenario was about to unfold. After several moments had passed, four figures slowly made their way through the ship’s dark passageway and into the many lights of the Iliad Port.
The first figure (later identified as Lope) wore shackles around his neck and limbs but looked rather comfortable being in them. The next figure came into the light and was clad in the traditional garb of the common Scorpi foot soldier. Shockingly, the third figure slowly limped into the light was none other than...Painmaster!
Painmaster was holding his side gingerly and obviously was still suffering from wounds incurred from the assault on Ground Zero. He did not look well and was in obvious pain. Shock followed shock as the last figure came out of the darkness holding the leash to the shackled individual....it was the Prime Colonizer himself, Mandrill! The Animan waited a moment and looked toward the vidcam, “I have returned from Centra and am here to reassert my dominance in this stinking dimension. I will not tolerate any kind of weakness under my rule.” Mandrill made a motion toward the Scorpi sentry and the soldier raised his weapon and blasted Painmaster!
Medical personnel scrambled toward the fallen superstar and one of them declared that he was dead. Mandrill continued, “The Prime Colonizer has returned and I did not return alone...be prepared for my own Hostile Takeover!” The three remaining figures looked around and headed back into the Scorpi Battle Cruiser with Mandrill bearing a sly smirk before the compartment door slammed shut.

MOT: Welcome to the Aquarian Amphitheater fans! Tonight, in front of a sold out arena, we will literally have a ringside seat to some of the hottest action in the universe! The now former team of the Gamemasters will battle one another in a Cetus Strap Match and that right there promises to be an emotional ride in itself!KRAM: Oh no you don’t Mot...you are not forgetting about the hottest diva in this stinking fed, She-Devil! The Canis Major diva is putting up her Woman’s Championship against that walking poster child for genome research...Andrea! [Chuckles]MOT: Stop it right there Kram! You went over the line with your usual off colored commentary...[Pauses and tries to regain composure] Another former team has come together this evening to try to gain their seventh Galaxian tag Team Championship reign- Master Race! KRAM: I wish them the best of luck because no one has even come close to dethroning the Immortals as champs! And the last strap up for grabs, Aethran Overmaster won the Bunkhouse Brawl Tournament and gets a chance at immortality with his battle against that overrated Titan- Payback! Anyway, down to the ringside area for the opening match...PERFECT SPECIMEN thumped Bishop Hell: Lord Nexus’s returning son was fantastic in this match and really took it to the fire slinger! The Titan used his agileness to his advantage and executed an early Supreme Shoulder Wrench and a moonsault that put Bishop Hell on his heels! The former Black Death member tossed his opponent into the ropes and attempted a back body drop but was countered with a piledriver! After a PINNACLE OF SUCCESS by Specimen, he covered his opponent for the three count. (**).
**Woman’s Championship Title Match** SHE-DEVIL(ch) stunned Andrea: Wow! Many critics believed that Andrea would walk away with this match but the outcome was the exact opposite! She-Devil landed a combination of Cannonball Clothesline, Crack the Whip, and an EYE OF THE TEMPTRESS for a failed pin attempt. The champion tossed Andrea into the turnbuckle and executed a bronco-buster (much to the delight of Kram) before lifting up the giantess. The Canis Major native signaled for her finisher and WHAM! A breath taking FALLEN DEVIL blasted Andrea, She-Devil covered the limp challenger, and the referee slapped the mat three times. (* 1/2)The Amphitheater’s vidscreen sprang to life with screen shots of all the current champions. The narrator spoke,” Honor ...Respect...Tradition...At the Great Galaxian Bash (Card #925), every champion will once again will try to defy the odds as they face a challenger for each of their championships for ten straight days! The TitleRun Tournament, often called the 'grand daddy of them all', will make each superstar prove whether or not they intestinal fortitude and the will to walk away from these challenges unscathed. Witness legendary contests...witness sacrifice...witness history! Beginning on Card #925 at the Maxus Trinary Towers, Auriga...the Cosmic Tours begin!”
**Cetus Strap Match** Thantos defeated Star Warrior: Full of weak sauce! This match didn’t even hit the two minute mark before Hector stormed the ring and blasted Star Warrior with a chair! Thantos and Hector double teamed the Pegasus native for several minutes before Thantos (while Hector held a bloodied Star Warrior over his knee) leapt off the top turnbuckle with a falling leg drop that would get the three count. (DUD)
**Galaxian Tag Team Championship Title Match** The Immortals(ch) obliterated Master Race: The Immortals have been simply dominate in their reign as Galaxian Tag Champions...it has been stated over and over by several critics in the GWF! Zygon managed to reunite with Thraxx for this bout and the two were under the stipulation that if they lost- they would retire forever from the GWF ring! The Kroll’s showed their age and were not even close to a threat in this bout! The champions simply played with the duo; and after both challengers were crimson covered , Sur used a Sur Perfect Power Bomb to end the one-sided contest. (****).
**Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Title Match** Payback(ch) lucked out against Aethran Overmaster: A great match! The championship could have went either way as both used their perspective finishers early in the bout! The Titan would use a Wildman Spear and Payback Time to set up a bone jarring EXVENGE!!!!! AOM had other ideas as he countered with a school boy roll up that only received a two count!!! The Aethran felt the momentum shift and used a REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER but Payback used his own school boy roll up counter to win the bout! (****).MOT: Holy Godsend! What a series of matches! I am sure that the Thantos/Star Warrior feud has just elevated to white hot and I think that Star Warrior might have to reach out for help to keep Hector at bay!KRAM: Meh...The Immortals showed those has-beens that they should have retired a l-o-n-g-t-i-m-e ago and tossed those two goofs around like a sack of molovian kinoots! [Laughs hysterically] It seems that the Overmaster will have to wait for his self-stated title reign! Maybe he oughta take care of Aethra as there have been riots reported recently and some say that many Aethrans have abandoned their posts...including the prisons!MOT: [Looks worried] I wouldn’t bring that up in front of him Kram...fans, we send you to ringside for the Tenth Day Turmoil Match...see you next broadcast! Good night! **Tenth Day Turmoil Ladder Match** Mandrill won against Ensor, Endgame, Monolith, Nosfera, and Rush: This match captivates wrestling enthusiasts every year and this one promised not to disappoint as well! With time restraints (i.e. long winded accounts of everything that happened in this bout) being considered, only highlights will be given...Ensor executed an ERUPTION OF THARSIS on Endgame in midair that sent both of them sprawled out on the concrete floor...Monolith went for the CATASTROPHE finisher but it would be reversed by Rush! The Aethran sent the big man reeling over the top rope and the Animan was met with a steel chair by Endgame that busted open the rhino...Nosfera had a ladder stretched out over the rail and bottom lip of the ring and executed a 360 degree moonsault on Endgame that sent both crashing through the ladder...a plethora of action occurred in this contest but would be interrupted by three individuals (one being Splatter) storming the ringside area!
The three individuals attacked each participant one at a time...precisely and without hesitation! One of the individuals wore a mask and along with Splatter brutally beat Monolith until they were convinced he wasn’t getting off the ground! Several minutes passed until the three worked their way through the five participants...the last victim (Ensor) was beaten the worst as he was not only beaten with Arsenal and a crowbar but was put through several tables.
The only assailant without a mask placed a ladder in the center of the ring and waved toward the back locker room. What came next was shocking! Mandrill casually strolled into the ring and up the ladder. He grabbed the contract and climbed back down to the square circle canvas. He asked for a microphone and once again addressed the universe.“I told everyone that they should prepare for a hostile takeover of my own and everyone thought I was just spouting off gibberish! I have put together a group of individuals that will aid in my dominance of this stinking fed...you have already seen Lope...but now I introduce to you...Crossfire, the Code Destroyer, and Splatter...together they are known as “The Protectorate” and they follow ONLY my orders! Mandrill once again smirks menacingly before walking back to the locker room. As the vidcam starts to fade, The newly formed Protectorate placed each of their left fist next to one another to form a triangle. [Fade to Black]
