Match Notes: Chaos Supreme had no answer for the Galaxian Champion and frustration set in early! Chaos finally had enough and refused to release a chokehold on his opponent. Prime Colonizer woud be awarded the bout as a result of a disqualification.

WolfWolf defeated Lope with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW

Match Notes: The Savage One and his counterpart tangled for nearly ten minutes with neither gaining the upperhand. Wolf would apply a nasty Wolf Skullsmasher and lock on THE SAVAGE FACE CLAW for the finale.
Overtime vs.
PsiPsi defeated Overtime with a MIND OVER MATTER
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: The Omnicronian has been on a losing streak recently and this came as a much needed win! Overtime would use his agilty to his advantage but that would not be enough as Psi would pummel the Titan with several powerbombs before using his finisher for the three count.
Mot and Kram appeared on the vidcast with the arena fans in the background. Kram, of course, berated the Earthlings and stated that the Prime Colonizer had told him earlier in the show that the Future Shock star would make history. Mandrill wanted everyone to know that he will win the IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT and void the Galaxian Title Match contract that was promised to the winner.
Mot fired back that if anyone could do it, that it would be the Prime Colonizer but insisted Kram shouldn't hold his breath.

Match Notes: Both combatants suffered a loss in the first pairing and both left everything in the squared circle. It would be Lope that would have his hand raised after a fantastic HOWL OF THE WOLF manuever.

Match Notes: The Prime Colonizer attacked his opponent before the bell and the contest would go down hill from there for Wolf. After a hellacious running clothesline, the Galaxian Champion used a SIMIAN SKULLCRUSHER for the duke.
Minister of War vs.
Star SlayerMinister of War defeated Star Slayer with an AETHRAN MASSACRE

Match Notes: The Aethran used numerous underhanded tactics to keep Star Slayer reeling. Star Slayer could not mount a decent offensive comeback and would be dropped with an AETHRAN MASSACRE.
The arena lights dimmed slowly until the arena was completely shrouded in darkness. The vidscreen springs to life and flashes scenes of last year’s Impossible Tournament with the final scene being Endgame holding up the Galaxian Championship. A voice bellowed throughout the arena, “The most grueling tournament in GWF history is about to begin with only the victor being able to reach down deep to realize a childhood dream! The Impossible Tournament is coming soon....the final round will be held in one of the most tranquil arenas in the universe-Galactic Gardens! As if on cue, the vidscreen lit up with the FRIGHT NIGHT PaPer View marquee....Card #981..coming to Sunflower Galaxy M63...be afraid...be very afraid...
Darkest Justice vs.
TricksTricks defeated Darkest Justice with a Die Laughing
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: The maniacal Clown simply punished the Famahault native! Numerous high impact moves sent Darkest Justice sprawling before succumbing to a Die Laughing manuever.
Bishop Hell vs.
MonolithMonolith defeated Bishop Hell with a CATASTROPHE
Match Rating: 0.50
Match Notes: This was the shortest match of the night as Monolith meant business! The Animan used an one armed airplane spin and put his opponent's shoulders down with a CATASTROPHE.
Nova vs.
She Devil LEShe Devil LE defeated Nova with a FALLEN DEVIL
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Nova was outclassed in this match and it showed! She-Devil used her agility to keep Nova guessing and ended it quickly with two consecutive FALLEN DEVILS.
The roving vidcam once again focused on Mot & Kram. Mot cut Kram off at the proverbial pass with telling him not to make any inappropiate comments about She-Devil with the only response from Kram was "Bless my shared soul...she has the right things in the right places."
Mot stated that the Prime Colonizer is only one win away from sweeping the first round of the IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT and being one step closer to making history. Kram scoffed and simply mumbled "He told you so."
The 'duo' sent the vidcam back to the squared circle.
Shayne vs.
The Perfect SpecimenThe Perfect Specimen defeated Shayne with a PINNACLE OF SUCCESS
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: A fantastic match! The momentum of the match switched sides numerous times and the arena roared their approval. The Titan would gain the upper hand after countering an EYE 4 EYE with a school boy roll up that nearly pinned the Earth born wrestler. A moment later, Spec used the PINNACLE OF SUCCESS for the win!
Afterwards, Shayne slammed the canvas with his fists several times in frustration.
AniMen Revenge vs.
Titan SamuraiPanther Warrior defeated Kenji with a SPEED OF THE PANTHER
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: This was a wrestling clinic! Both teams are fan favorites and didn't stray from the rulebook once. The #1 contenders, Titan Samurai were nearly successful on several pin attempts but they would be broken up by one of the AniMen and vice versa. Unfortunately all good things have to come to an end and after a failed turnbuckle charge by Kenji, Panther Warrior caught him in a SPEED OF THE PANTHER for the pinfall.

Match Notes: If I was a betting man, I would not of guessed that Chaos Supreme would go winless in the first round. Buuutt...that's exactly what he did! Wolf caught him in several high impact moves and locked in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW to hand the bigman his third loss.
Demon Hunters vs.
The ProtectorateCode Destroyer defeated HelSin with an EAT CROW
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: The Protectorate showed exactly the reason that they were former Galaxian Tag Champions and manhandled the Demon Hunters. Almost without any effort, Code Destroyer used EAT CROW on Helsin for the duke.
For a third time, the vidcam centered on Mot & Kram. Mot thanked everyone for joinging the broadcast and reminded everyone that the second round of the IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT featuring Havoc (IP Champ), Bex (United Stars Champ), Paganax, and Ghena would be featured on the next XPLOSION.
Kram began to speak but Mot put a hand over his fellow announcer's mouth and told everyone to enjoy the main event.

Prime ColonizerPrime Colonizer defeated Lope with a COLONIZER CLAW SLAM

Match Notes: The Prime Colonizer started the match by insisting his fellow Protectorate member to lay down and let him get the three count. After looking confused for a few moments, Lope shook his head informing the leader of his group that he would not.
The Prime Colonizer began to shout and slapped the Andromedan!! This seemed to wake up Lope and all hell broke loose!
Lope tore into his leader and Prime Colonizer reciprocated! The action went hot and heavy for nearly fifeteen minutes with both combatants covered in blood! No quarter was given nor expected!
The Prime Colonizer finally gained the upperhand after a low blow and lifted up Lope with a COLONIZER CLAW SLAM for the referee to slap the canvas three times!
The Prime Colonizer stood up, spit on his (more than likely) former team mate, and simply left the ringside area.
