Card#998
Sacred Eye Dojo; Joo Tseo, PavoAfter the opening fireworks ended, the roving vidcam came to rest at the announcing table. Mot & Kram stated that this edition of XPLOSION brings the "Secret Santa" Ladder Match qualifying matches! Mot added that if the fans weren't familiar with this match, there will be six combatants in the ring at one time fighting to gain control of one of four briefcases hung above the ring. When a wrestler grabs a briefcase, he leaves ringside and the remaining participants continues until all four briefcases have been claimed. In each of these briefcases there is one of the following:
• A contract for a Galaxian title match in the GWF to be cashed in at the winner's discretion;
• A ‘Stocking Stuffer’ that will have an Interplanetary title shot on the next broadcast of XPLOSION;
• A second ‘Stocking Stuffer’ that will open a surprise gift;
• A pink slip that will terminate the wrestler's contract for a MINIMUM of 30 days.
Kram added that the past winners of the Galaxian Championship Titleshot, has cashed in their prize successfully. He also remarked that every Galaxian contract winner has been a "jabroni" that has rocketed to stardom but would soon come crashing back down to lower card status.
Mot asked him politely to be nice and sent the vidcam to the squared circle for the opening bout.

Match Notes: The first qualifier was a barn burner...err, no pun intended! Both combatants laid into one another but it would be Thantos's experience that would shine though. At the six minute mark, Thantos delivered a LEGEND LARIAT to qualify for the main event of XMAS COLOSSAL.
The arena vidscreen illuminated ringside and scenes from the last several "Secret Santa " ladder matches flashed across the screen! A voice bellows, " Six combatants...four prizes...but only one contains the prize that every wrestler dreams of. A Galaxian Championship Title Match whenever the bearer deems it so! Nova vs.
ScornScorn defeated Nova with a corner hip attack
Match Rating: 0.50
Match Notes: Nova was talking trash about what she was going to do to the FTR star, Moonlight, at the upcoming PaPer View. When the bell rang, she viciously attecked Scorn and everytime she would perform a move- she would badmouth the Mongolian!
"A Small Measure of Peace" by Hans Zimmerman began to play over the arena's speakers. Nova faced the entrance ramp expecting to see Moonlight but no one came. When she turned around, Scorn executed a BURNING SCORN for the referee to slap the mat three times.
After the three count ended, Moonlight walked out from the locker room and tapped her temple a couple of times before returning to the back.
The arena's vidscreen sprang to life once again! This time the vidcam focused on the impromptu leader of the Three, Sur. "Mere mortals..I am addressing the current Commissioner of the GWF (Sly Drury) and comments he made on Card#992." Sur calmly stated.
He continued, "The Tirion Triple Threat was put in place by Drury for The Three to get their aggressions about one another out...and then Sly Drury extended an invitation for us to join Martial Law." (The arena erupted in jeers)
The Immortal waited a moment and continued, "Sly Drury...the Three doesn't heel like dogs and we will not be hangers on like most of your pathetic group. (The fans roar their approval). We will not comply with your antics and I have to warn the Commissioner that our groups aren't enemies at the moment and to keep Martial Law on a short lease. Don't push your luck Drury because we could end you." (The arena once again erupts in cheers)

**Galaxian Tag Team Championship Title Match** Ascension vs.
Predatorsfor the
Galaxian Tag Team ChampionshipsFist defeated Wolf with an ARMAMENT
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: This match promised to be a classic and it did not dissapoint! The momentum shifted several times and neither gained the advantage for close to fifteen minutes.
Wolf blasted Fist with a running turnbuckle charge and placed the Aethran onto the top of the turnbuckle. He climbed up the corner and grabbed Fist by the trucks. Suddenly Patch and Skiver aka Mean Streets stormed the ringside area! Lope intercepted Patch on the entrance ramp but Skiver managed to get to the area where Wolf and Fist were positioned.
Skiver grabbed a chair and swung it toward Wolf but the Savage One dropped down to the mat and the steel chair bounced off Fist's forehead instead! Skiver looked terrified!
Moments later the ring was embroiled in a three way affair!! The referee tried to maintain order...during the scuffle, Fist managed to catch Wolf in the ARMAMENT manuever to retain the Galaxian Tag straps.
After the bell sounded, the Martial Law members entered the square circle and executed the DOUBLE DISPATCH on Fist before leaving four battered bodies at ringside.
The roving vidcam returned to the announcing table and Mot & Kram were simply flabbergasted! Kram stated that the federation was waiting for someone to stand up to Martial Law and it seems like Mean Streets just [censored] up! The Gladiators of Aethra aren't going to let things slide even if Skiver didn't mean to nail Fist with the steel chair.
Mot simply sat there agasp at what had happened only moments before and Kram made a remark about thanking goodness that he was there to return the vidcam to ringside.
**Interplanetary Championship Title Match** Balaal vs.
Shaynefor the
Interplanetary Championship Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: It was obvious that Shayne took Balaal too lightly and struggled with this match! Balaal wrestled the best match of his GWF career and nearly pinned the Interplanetary Champion on several occassions! However, it was not meant to be, and Shayne made a comeback by using Frontier Justice to bring the Animan down to the canvas.
A SHOWDOWN finisher later, Shayne's hand was raised in truimph.
