WitnessWitness defeated Nosfera with a PROSECUTION
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Witness wanted a rematch from Card#1020 because he felt like he was cheated from showing the leader of Martial Law some justice. Sly Drury brushed the Formalhaut native aside and scheduled him in a Castor Chain Match against Nosfera instead!
Witness was infuriated and it showed! He manhandled the daemon like nobody's business! Nosfera was busted open early after a nasty punch with the chain! Witness quickly performed three PROSECUTION finishers and pointed toward the back as the referee slapped the mat three times,
*Titan Tornado Match*Burning Hell vs.
Titan SamuraiGiant Azuma defeated Bishop Hell with a ZENSHO
Match Rating: 0.25
Match Notes: After the bell sounded, these four superstars sprang into action! Giant Azuma was tossing around Burning Man but Kenji wasn't as successful against Bishop Hell.
Gaint Azuma blasted Burning Man with a turnbuckle charge that saw the Brymstonian roll out onto the ringside floor. On the other hand, Bishop Hell used his ring experience to keep Kenji on his toes and used a HELLFIRE to send the Titan to the canvas!
Bishop Hell began to cover the downed Samurai but Azuma would land a nasty side kick! The Sumo dragged Bishop Hell closer to the turnbuckle and would execute ZENSHO for the easy win!
Over numerous years, the GWF has witnessed their epic annual event dubbed the Bunkhouse Brawl. The format has returned to bedlam last year;and in the past, the landscape of the GWF has been shaken to it's very core making individuals into superstars.
A 64 man Hardcore Titan Death Match Tournament will take place all across the galaxy from Oa to Deimos and all points in between. Friends will battle friends, teammates will turn on teammates and villains will try to win at all costs, for the price of winning is worth its weight in gold.
The stakes of glory couldn't be higher as participants battle it out for one thing: a shot at the Galaxian Championship at the Hostile Takeover Paper View. The current Galaxian Champion has put his name in the unlikely event that he wins, he will have the PaPer View free of a title defense. Big time players like Perfect Specimen, Witness, Totalis, and Monolith may have to step up their game. What will happen in the Martial Law camp should Iron Hand or Skiver step up and win? One thing is for sure, you won't wanna miss this galactic-wide event taking place over Cards #1022 to #1026.
The GWF is hyping this event like no other. The media frenzy has been fierce and the coverage is all over GSPN for this mega event. Fans of the federation are flocking to the holonet for their chance at winning. This year they are offering fans a chance to win a holodisk of their choosing should they pick the bracket winners correctly and rack up the most points.
*Turnbuckle Shock Match*Β The Perfect Specimen vs.
TotalisThe Perfect Specimen defeated Totalis with a PINNACLE OF SUCCESS
Match Rating: 1.00
Match Notes: Perfest Specimen sported a new style heading to ringside and seemed a bit more confident recently in his matches. Totalis, on the other hand, has become frustrated and has had very few wins since entering the GWF.
Unfortunately for the Corvus native, Specimen whipped him worse than someone's grandma with a switch! Totalis had no answer for the Titan and would fall victim to PINNACLE OF SUCCESS early in the bout.
Editor's Note: The turnbuckles weren't used a single time!!!
*Six Woman Elimination Tag Match*Β Elina,
Scorn, and
Taichi vs.
Fhanna,
Catfight, and
SinfulScorn defeated Sinful with a BURNING SCORN
Catfight defeated Taichi with a FELINE FURY
Elina defeated Fhanna with a RESURRECTION
Scorn defeated Catfight with a count-out
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: A helluva match! These six divas put on a great show and (sorry...pun inbound) burned the house down!
The first few minutes saw several tags as the teams were getting into the groove of things. Fhanna would attempt THE OTHER WOMAN but would be countered by Elina and the former Future Shock star would be the receipent of the RESURRECTION finisher to be eliminated.
Several minutes would pass before Catfight would execute FELINE FURY on one of the longest reigning former Woman's Champions, Taichi to garner the pin.
Catfight would tag out to Sinful but even though she was able to use RISING FROM THE GRAVE- she had a BURNING SCORN applied to her to put her shoulders down for the three count.
Scorn continued to eliminate the other team's members as she landed a Kappo Kick that had Catfight roll out of the ring ! Catfight seemed to have had enough and simply left ringside- causing her to be counted out and the match awarded to Scorn, Taichi, and Elina.
**Galaxian Championship Title Match/ Mensan Tables Match**Β Monolith vs.
Paganaxfor the
Galaxian ChampionshipMonolith defeated Paganax with a CATASTROPHE
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Oof...brutal...brutal match! These two behemoths were scheduled to face off one another by Sly Drury "to beat the living
[censored] out of one another" and that is what they did!
The champion gave Monolith a beat down and Monolith gave back as good as he received! Both combatants used the tables to their advantage and both put the other through the required two tables!
It would be Monolith, however, that would stun the champion with an 'I BREAK YOU' but Paganax managed to kick out of the pin attempt! Monolith rapidly followed with a CATASTROPHE and became Galaxian Champion!!!
Wait...Overtime's music began to play and Monolith was already spattered with Paganax's blood (and his own) could not believe it! Would the Secret Santa Briefcase end his title reign for a second time?
Monolith won the Galaxian Championship**Galaxian Championship Title Match**Β Monolith vs.
Overtimefor the
Galaxian ChampionshipMonolith defeated Overtime with a CATASTROPHE
Match Rating: 1.00
Match Notes: After the bell sounded, Overtime layed in Monolith and many thought that the Titan would finally become champion! BEEP! WRONG!
Monolith regained his composure and then proceeded to beat the living daylights out of the challenger! Monolith put Overtime through three tables and followed up with an 'I BREAK YOU' but the Titan managed to lift his shoulder off the mat.
A pair of CATASTROPHES later, Monolith remained Galaxian Champion and for the first time in GWF history- the Secret Sants Briefcase did not yield championship gold!
The Arenaβs vidscreen lit up the arena and screen shots of last yearβs spring classic HOSTILE TAKEOVER filled the vidscreen. β On Card #1032, the universe will witness one of the most anticipated matches of the year as several superstars will participate in the Tenth Day Turmoil Ladder match to determine the final challenger for the Titlerun series! *Wargames Match*Β Aethran Overmaster,
The Leveler, and
Ascension vs.
Shayne,
Sly Drury, and
Mean StreetsAethran Overmaster defeated Shayne with a REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Easily the best main event that the GWF has had in a L-O-N-G-T-I-M-E as every second was rivetting! The match stipulations were the following:
- If Aethran Overmaster's team won, Overmaster would be able to get his hands on Sly Drury on XPLOSION (Card#1027) without any Martial Law members being allowed in the arena;
- If Aethran Overmaster's team loses, all the Aethrans would have to bow before Sly Drury and do his bidding for six months.
The match started with Aethran Overmaster facing off against Shayne for the first five minutes and the Aethran leader took his frustrations out on the Interplanetary Champion for that full five minutes. Shayne was covered in crimson by the time the alarm sounded for another entrant.
Skiver was the next to enter the cage and as expected the Martial Law team double teamed the Aethran leader! As the timer was running out, Shayne blasted Overmaster with an EYE 4 EYE finisher.
Fist quickly made his way to the cage and gave his leader some relief! The four men battled viciously for the net two minutes with neither gaining an upperhand.
At the eleven minute mark, Patch scurried into the cage and once again Martial Law gained the upperhand! It would be Fist that would suffer a DOUBLE DISPATCH seconds before the next entrant.
At the thirteen minute mark, Probation entered the cage and sported a new pattern of facepaint that in previous encounters, The muscle behind the Aethran Ascension team not only evened things up but the Gladiators gained the upperhand in the waning moments of the next entrant...which had to be Sly Drury!
Sly Drury cautiously entered the battleground but would be overwhelmed by Fist and Overmaster! The leader of Martial Law would receive an earthshaking REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER before crawling into a corner and trying to hide.
The last participant slowly made his way into the ring and The Leveler entered the ring and simply stood there. Martial Law would gain the advantage and Sly would turn his attention to the robot.
As he threw a punch toward the Gladiator's bodyguard, The Leveler blocked it and executed a belly to belly suplex!!! The Leveler reached up to his chin and pulled off his helmet to reveal...KILL PREY!!!!
The Orion native laid into Sly Drury as the leader cowered away from him!!! Sadly, Martial Law would gain an advantage and beat the returning star until he was a bloody mess!
The momentum swung once more with the Gladiators putting the hurt on Shayne. Each Aethran applied their finisher and tossed him into the ropes- Overmaster once again flattened Shayne with a REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER!
The Earthling could not continue anymore and signified that he would concede! This means Sly Drury will face Overmaster on the next XPLOSION!!!
