A lot of anticipation has been built with this event and the Board of Directors are hoping to kick off the developmental fed's summer with a bang.Sonny Rocket vs.
UranusSonny Rocket defeated Uranus with a coast to coast dropkickMatch Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: The arena's lights faded and two spotlights shined in the center of the entrance ramp. "Turn Up The Trouble" blasted through the sound system and a frail looking individual with a blonde mullet emerged from the locker room area.
He stood in the center of the spotlighted area and held his hand up in the air toward the ceiling. Unexpectedly, an old school microphone spiralled down toward him until he grasped the device in his hands. He took an deap breath and held the microphone to his mouth.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to reveal to you the man that will single handedly change UPRIZING as you know it! He weighs in at 197 pounds and hails from the star system of Orion....Miiiiiiiiiisssssssttttteeeerrrrrrr Roooccckkkkeeettt...Rocket!!!"
With that said, the newcomer strutted to the squared circle!
Sonny came out with guns ablazing and it looked like it was going to be a squash match! The Orion native nearly got the pin early on as a springboard forearm cleaned Uranus's clock. However, Janus's youngest son fought back after taking a couple of Mic Drop manuevers and landed some of his own offense! The second generation star used a low blow and a Champion Super Stomp to head Sonny off at the pass!
Uranus started to gloat to the vidcam, played up to the crowd, and turned his back on his opponent. When Uranus turned around to continue his assault, he was the receipient of a coast to coast dropkick! Sonny Rocket covered him for the three count and that's all she wrote!
Chameleon vs.
MoonlightMoonlight defeated Chameleon with a bridging knee barMatch Rating: 1.00
Match Notes: These two divas encounters are one win apiece and this promised to be a great match up!
"
A Small Measure of Peace" by Hans Zimmerman blared through the arena's speaker system as figures clad in samurai armour took staggered positions down the ramp. The arena erupted as Moonlight made her way down to rigside and as she passed each samurai- crossed swords with the individual across from them on the ramp. What a breathtaking entrance!
Not to be outdone...a fog slowly enveloped the ringside area as the "
Dead Silence theme" blared. Suddenly, all four turnbuckles erupted in flame and when the smoke cleared- Chameleon was standing in the middle of the ring!
The action went back and forth for several minutes. Early on, Moonlight tossed the Andromedan into the corner and missed a turnbuckle charge that seemed to injure the Earthling's shoulder. Chameleon used this to her advantage but could not seem to put opponent down for long.
Frustrated, Chameleon attempted a running lariat but Moonlight countered with a Twin Thrust! The Earthling quickly locked on a bridging knee bar and the Aniwoman quickly tapped out!
Abandonment Issues vs.
Ocean ExpressVacant defeated King Tux with a count-outMatch Rating: 0.25
Match Notes: As usual, the Ocean Express huge pop coming to the ringside area as too many little kids swarmed them asking to sign their "plushies". Their opponents, Vacant and Swerve, were teaming for the first time and weren't even close to being impressed by the fan favorites.
Cephlapodis and Swerve started the contest off with the two trading blows. The "cuddlefish" gained the early momentum as he employed a Grappling Hook manuever and followed suite with a SEA MONSTER MASH for a two count!
The invertabrate tagged out to King Tux but the flightless bird couldn't keep the momentum going. Swerve was able to tag out to Vacant and the Neptunian landed a dropkick that sent Tux spiraling over the tope rope and crashing to the arena floor!
The newly formed Abandonment Issue team double teamed Cephlapodis and the referee turned his attention to that scuffle trying to bring order back to the match. However, on the outside of the ring, it appeared that a ringside fan (a turkey animan wearing a black leather jacket and pink sunglasses) landed a knee lift to the downed Penguin's head! Security swamped the area and the assailant was forcibly restrained and taken to the back.
Sadly, the damage was done; and after the referee restored order, he would give the ten count to the Ocean Express member. The team of Vacant and Swerve would win by way of a count-out.

Blue ChipAstarte defeated Blue Chip with a TRUE FUTURE SHOCKMatch Rating: 0.00
Match Notes: A squad of cheerleaders walked out to the entrance ramp under the montage of "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor. Blue Chip walked out onto the center of the entrance ramp and pyrotechnics erupted.
Astarte's entrance was more somber as he walked down the rampway under "BSG theme" with the spotlight dimmed until he reached the center of the squared circle. The Eridanusian slowly lifted his left hand into a fist and the arena lights came back on.
Regrettably the entrances were longer than the match as Blue Chip attempted a moonsault as the bell rang! Astartes caught the upstart and excuted a Left For Dead on Bemis manuever before using TRUE FUTURE SHOCK for the duke.
**Four Corners Match** Honey vs.
RheaHoney defeated Rhea with a BURROW BLASTMatch Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: Rhea came out to "
Who I Am" and struck a Rear Lat Spread bodybuilding pose in the center of the ring. The ringside fans were awestruck at her massive physique!
"
Sky's The Limit" blared and Honey entered the ramp in a hot pink 2034 Ferrari convertible F912. Once she was at ringside, she began to exit the vehicle but Rhea would slam the door on her...and then put the strap around Honey's wrist. The fight was on!
A vicious fight! Honey nearly ended the bout early after a I DON'T CARE but was only able to touch three turnbuckles.Rhea went on the offensive and even used the SERPENT'S CATAPULT that shook the ring! Honey rolled out of the ring in pain and the Serpens diva followed but would be met with a steel chair and a brutal Carnivorous Clamp!
Honey lifted up the ring apron, pulled out a metal trashcan, and attempted to use on Rhea. Rhea stopped the momentum and brought down the Aniwoman with a knee lift before using the garbage can herself.
She tossed the bloodied Honey Badger back into the squared circle and stained the canvas crimson in several spots. The giantess was able to slap two turnbuckles before her opponent was able to stop her momentum.
A quick Ratel Awakening and BURROW BLAST put Nova's bodyguard on her back and tapped three turnbuckles before Rhea tightened the strap. She pulled her opponent toward her and the Andromedan diva used the momentum provided to slap the fourth turnbuckle behind her opponent.
**Circunus Cell Match** Mad Maxus vs.
The PlantationThe Electric Axe defeated Mayham with a school boy roll upMatch Rating: 1.25
Match Notes: All four combatants brutalized one another and the steel cage was used plenty throughout. Electric Axe used MAXUS ATTACKS US on Mayham that would have garnered the three count if it wasn't for Armour breaking up the attempt.
Armour grinded Axe's forehead across the cage wall and attempted an ARMOURED ASSAULT but the Maxus native rolled out of the way...a total crash and burn!
Totally Awesome and his partner rolled Armour into the squared circle and the two methodically pulverized Mayham. "The next pig thing" was simply outclassed and couldn't mount any meaningful offense.
Electric Axe attempted an Axe Grinder but the armadillo countered with a school boy roll up! The Mad Maxus member countered that with his own school boy roll up and was able to keep the Animan's shoulders down for the count.
On an early UPRIZING vidcast, Chameleon stated that The Plantation was going to prosper and regain their killer instincts...well, the group has gone winless in the event. What lies in the future for The Plantation?

FTR ChampionshipCaptain Crossbones defeated Disciple of Terror Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Disciple of Terror came to the ring with the Cygnusian Anthem blaring while riding a hovertank to the ring! Prettty standard fare for the warlike race...
The arena darkened and "He's A Pirate" by Hans Zimmerman softly played over the arena's speakers. Crossbones slowly and methodicaly walked to the ring and prytechnics erupted from a staged iron sides next to the entranceway.
These two have battled several times and have become synonymous with the FTR. They tore into one another and gave no quarter- they expected none as well! The action was hot and heavy with neither gaining the advantage fr very long.
Crossbones went to the top turnbuckle and attemted a flying clothesline but Disciple pulled the referee in front of him!Crossbones hit the ref!! The Brymstonian attempted to revive the referee and Disciple signaled to the back.
The Conquerers of The Galaxy ran down to ringside and the three bum rushed Crossbones! The exclamation point came after Mass put the pirate through a ringside table with a running powerbomb!
Suddenly, the From The Depths (Darkwater & Blackheart) team stormed ringside and scattered Mass and Murtak! The CotG cowered and exited the ringside area through the crowds!
This left Disciple facing Crossbones newest partners and the two newcomers pounced! They performed a version of the High & Low (later identified as "DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES"...ironic huh?) on the FTR Champion.
Darkwater hoped out of the iring, picked up Crossbones, and laid him on the unconscious Cygnusian. Meanwhile, Darkwater helped the referee gain his bearing and the referee began the count..1...2...3!!!!!
The FTR has a new champion! The three pirates celebrated as the vidcast slowly faded.
