whoops, Hegemony gets counted out in the first round?! Guess the odds were against me on that one LOL. Aw well, at least the Galactic Defender retains, so I saved some face there. Good showing. I like Stryker in the finals, he's really improved, so it's fitting to see him there. Big blow to the Z losing Ajax imo. Sorry to see him go, but I'm sure he'll do well in whatever it is Greek God types do in their spare time

Good to see Y2K rebound with a pair of wins after coming up short against Akuma. Losing to the legend is almost an honor, no shame there.

GWFZT News:
Promoter Todd "Biggin" McFadyen leaked to several galactic social media outlets today that GWFZT is currently undergoing some significant shake-ups. BIG UNIVERSE BROADCASTING, who until days ago held the GWFZT license, is faltering under the weight of their huge GWFZT project; apparently the project was too wide in scope for BUB to continue and the debt they have incurred has prompted them to sell the license.
GWFZT has struck a new strategic partnership with BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT, the company that has been producing the GWF since 2087. Known for ground-breaking decisions to consolidate and concentrate their available resources, BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT is uniquely suited to help maintain the success of GWFZT.
Fans should expect a more focused experience with BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT in charge. No statement has been issued by either BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT or GWFZT Commissioner, Stellar Nexus, thus far. We'll keep you posted.

GWFZT News:
In the fallout surrounding BIG UNIVERSE BROADCASTING losing the GWFZT license, we've heard two major announcements. First, Stellar Nexus is apparently taking breather, and Hardcore Commissioner Jim Steel has been a declared the Interim Commissioner for GWFZT. Second, BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT intends to use a business model similar to the one used in the their GWF; the territories will be wrangled in a fair bit to create a more tightly polished product that is easier for fans to keep up with. With that goal in mind, Commissioner Jim Steel announced the 2126 Honor Roll today. These are the athletes that we will presumably be seeing the most of as the 2126 season progresses. BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT has given every indication that the Honor Roll is likely to change from year to year. Also of note, GWZT records will be reset when production resumes, but athletes will keep the belts that have already been won.
