(Card 471)
The holo-vid feed opens up with Whiplash holding his Heavyweight belt upon his shoulder. The crowd bursts with approval at seeing their hero upon the GWF-Tron. The deadly assassin is seen in a parking garage somewhere getting out of a black hover-stretchsine, followed in tail by Darkos and the Demons of Hydra, all with their Three Man Championship belts around their waists. The Heavyweight Champ moves to the side to let the others get out.
Darkos: So that’s where we stand Big Guy.
Whiplash seems to be displeased with something.
Whiplash: Yeah? So that’s how you feel. What about Demon and Hydra?
The two masked men look at each other before turning to the champ and then suddenly direct their attention to the near-distance. Seemingly out of nowhere the GWF Cruiserweight Champion, Vyper, walks up to the group belt on shoulder as well. As he speaks a certain intense connotation can be heard.
Vyper: We all feel that way Whiplash. This is a group decision.
Whiplash: Yeah? And suddenly you’re… the group.
Vyper: No…
Whiplash: Good then we…
Vyper: I’m the future.
Whiplash cocks his head to the side as if upset.
Whiplash: Well I’m the champ.
Vyper: We’ll see about that come GalactiMania.
Suddenly Whiplash violently rushes to get into Vyper’s face.
Whiplash: You watch your tone with me boy. Or I’ll put you in your place. I’ve put away tougher men then you will ever be on even my worst nights.
Vyper: Yeah? Then how come I soundly defeated you not but several weeks ago… to win this?
He taps his GWF Cruiserweight Championship belt on his shoulders. A deadly smile crosses Whiplash’s face, and then as suddenly as it appeared, it faded. A dry, dark manner is heard in the Heavyweight Champion’s voice.
Whiplash: You really think that I was going to put effort into something when I had one of the biggest matches in my career in the same night? If you want a round two… on a night that I’m not double booked… because I hold several championships at a time… please feel free to challenge me. Until then… know your place and shut your mouth.
Darkos: Whiplash I…
Vyper: No he’s right. I’ll watch my words…
That said Whiplash starts to make his way into the arena…
Vyper: But… I’ll back up what I said when the time comes.
… And stops. Without turning around he addresses the slight.
Whiplash: Good. I’ll be waiting.
With that he continues as the others watch on. A smile crosses Vyper’s face as the man walks of camera. He motions toward the others and speaks in a hushed vice.
Vyper: Do you see that?
Demon: What?
Darkos: … He’s limping.
They all continue to stare.
Hydra: Man… he is getting old.
The scene cuts back to the play-by-play team, Omega and Morpheus.
Omega: What was that all about?
Morpheus: His time has come Omega. One way or another.
Omega: I think our champion still has many years to go.
Morpheus: Well apparently the Masked Assassins all disagree with you my friend.
Omega: Well all but Whiplash… and I know the measure of the man he is. Whiplash knows what he can and can’t handle. He won’t bite off more than he can chew.
Morpheus: Well… I know him too and he has underestimated his competition before.

As we come back from commercials, Commissioner Carter sits behind his desk addressing someone in a private meeting.
Scene: Carter's OfficeCommissioner Carter: So first Alpha Force... and now Dragonmaster? What's your deal?
The camera pans around and Matador of M83 comes into view. The crowd boos in disgust as the man brims with a half-smile.
Matador of M83: Just protecting what's mine.
Commissioner Carter: What are you talking about?
Matador of M83: My spot. I should be the number one contender.
Commissioner Carter: What? Your spot? Your spot should be at home, fired! Do you remember our deal?
Carter shakes his head angrily as he draws a cigar out and lights it.
Commissioner Carter: You lost in the tournament for the GalactiMania main event spot. You failed to fulfill your end of the our... "understanding." You have been suspended for a month and fined $30,000! Does that not ring a bell? You violated that last night!
Matador of M83: I don't know what you're talking about.
Commissioner Carter: You attacked Dragonmaster after his match! Why are we even talking? Tell me why I shouldn't fire you right now?
Matador grinned now.
Matador of M83: Because I'm one of the best talents that this company has right now. No one can compete with my sheer athleticism. Not only that... but my win, loss record is in the upper echelon of your roster. I set the bar. Tell me... what would GlactiMania be without somone as valuable as me?
Commissioner Carter: I'll tell you what it'll be! It'll be A Six Man Hell-Chamber Match... it'll have several glorious matches and many prestigious championships on the line. You sir... you have nothing to offer... besides yourself.
Matador of M83: No. I have a match. Something revolutionary. Something... game changing. And all I ask is for a spot in it.
Carter sits back and enjoys his cigar. He motions for Matador to continue.
Matador of M83: Bishop Hell is going to be in the Main Event... what are you planning on doing to the Interplanetary Championship?
Commissioner Carter: You never mind that. I'll announce it later tonight. Just tell me your match idea... and we'll decide what to do with you.
Matador of M83: Well seeing as how the Heavyweight Championship and the Interplanetary Championship both have a number one contender... and neither Dragonmaster nor Wolf are in the Hell-Chamber Match... we have to have a way for them to wrestle, keep their rightful positions until their title shot is granted and make a memorable night for the GWF Fans. I was once told about a certain match from a federation long ago... to where six men faced off against each other in an Earth Ladder Match. The winner would be granted a Heavyweight Championship match contract in which they could redeem at any time within the next year, whenever the winner chose. If you make this match possible... you can reward the men who rightfully earned number one contender status, however were denied a title shot at GalactiMania. Now I know you are a fair and even Commissioner and...
Commissioner Carter: Now wait... you said anytime? They can "Cash" the contract in at any time within the next twelve months?
Matador of M83 shakes his head with a wide grin as the feed goes to a commercial.

The scene from commercials opens up with crowd chanting “GWF” a little as the two continue.
Omega: Alright fans we have quite a lineup for you tonight.
Morpheus: That’s right. Our Main Event tonight is Asylum vs. Superiority Complex for the number two Tag Team Title contendership!
Omega: And that’s not all. We should have many other matches in store for you, but first Commissioner Carter is due to make an announcement.
Morpheus: That’s right! There are going to be many surprises tonight from what I’ve been told.
Omega: By who?
Morpheus: I have my sources.
Omega: … Anyway. I’m sure we have more matches, however they have yet to give us a program… because Commissioner Carter is due to make an announcement, just after these messages.
Morpheus: Exactly… and you’re going to love it.

When the feed comes back from commercials, Commissioner Carter can be seen mid-ring holding a microphone.
Commissioner Carter: The time has come loyal fans… the time has come to announce my plans for the grandest GalactiMani yet!
The crowd erupts with a great cheer. It takes some time for them to die down, all the while Carter smiles. When the cheers start to subside he continues.
Commissioner Carter: I must admit though these past two months I have been preparing for this event… and I have been putting talent and the fans aside. But as of tonight… that is no longer the case. I forgot something that had been on the table for a while, but I overlooked it. Not only is Wolf the number one contender to the Interplanetary Championship. But he has been owed a shot at the belt since Galaxian War. Wolf! I’m honoring that tonight! So… you’re getting two shots at the title… should you indeed not win your first match.
The fans cheer wildly at hearing that.
Commissioner Carter: And that’s not all! Not by a long shot! Tonight I’m going to make the impossible, possible. I have an idea that’s not only going to shock you the fans… but also the wrestlers in the back. I have an idea for a match… and I’m signing it for GalactiMania!
The crowd cheers even louder.
Commissioner Carter: So what I want right now is for the following wrestlers to make their way out here… Wolf, Dreadnaught, Raven, Dragonmaster, Alpha Force and Matador of M83.
In a matter of moments the six wrestlers beam to the ringside area.
Commissioner Carter: Boys… who wants a shot at the GWF Heavyweight Championship?
They all either nod their head or mouth ‘Yes.’ Only Wolf cocks his head, as Matador shakes his in triumph.
Commissioner Carter: Good. Then you won’t mind if I sign a little match then will you?
They all nod in agreement as Carter smiles.
Commissioner Carter: Good. Then up your pants and turn your heads… because this one is going to make this GalactiMania a night never to be forgotten. I’m going to call this match the Ultimate Armageddon Hellscape Ladder Match.
Omega chimes in from his position.
Omega: The Ultimate Armageddon Hellscape Ladder Match?
Morpheus: Shhhhhhhhhh Omega! Listen.
Carter shakes his head as the crowd too seems stunned.
Commissioner Carter: That’s right, the Ultimate Armageddon Hellscape Ladder Match. And It’s going to involve all of you.
Wolf, now with microphone in hand leaps into the ring as Matador is sitting beside himself in astonishment.
Wolf: Well I accept your apology and the two title shots! And as for the match… sounds a lot like fun… but what is it?
Commissioner Carter: I’m glad you asked that It’s simple. Think of a ladder match involving eight men inside an extended steel cage.
Wolf: But ladder matches are supposed to be free and wild… not confined within a cage.
Commissioner Carter: But that’s the beauty of it! It’s not going to be open or free for your opponents to grabs weapons and such. Your weapons will be the cage itself!
Wolf: Go on.
Commissioner Carter: Did I mention that the ropes were going to be replaced with barbed wire?
Wolf: I’m still listening.
Commissioner Carter: And that the turnbuckles are going to shoot flame out at random intervals? And…
Wolf: I’m in.
Carter laughs at the man’s reply as the crowd start to cheer “Wolf! Wolf! Wolf!” Dreadnaught makes his way into the ring now with a mic. as Wolf silently slides aside. Allowing for the other vetran to take center stage.
Dreadnaught: So what’s the deal Carter?
Commissioner Carter: What do you mean?
Dreadnaught: How do you win this match?
Commissioner Carter: Easy!
Carter takes a breath as he continues.
Commissioner Carter: The match starts off with eight men confined in the structure that I mentioned earlier. All eight men draw from “The hat” for “Lethal lottery” tag team pairing. Meaning anyone can be paired with anyone. The first round is decided after a pinfall or submission. The losing team is then eliminated, leaving six men in the ring. These men will then look to the GWF-Tron which will have their new random team assignment. The six remaining men then compete in a best of two-falls three man tag match. Those who submit or are pinned are eliminated from the remainder of the match, as is the losing team. Those left then compete in the regular Ladder Match as the ring-structure is lifted away. The winner will be the one who ascends the ladder and retrieves the prize suspended above.
Seemingly satisfied Dreadnaught backs away, as both Alpha Force and Dragonmaster make their way into the ring, with mics.
Dragonmaster: One thing keeps bugging me Carter…
Alpha Force: You keep saying eight men!
Commissioner Carter: That’s right.
Dragonmaster: Yeah… what’s the deal?
Commissioner Carter: Well… tonight I’m hosting a “Hardcore Invitational Tournament.” Only the hardest-core guys…
Alpha Force: Not a word.
Carter eyes him as he continues.
Commissioner Carter: Who are not currently involved in this match or the other Main Event are invited. And the two finalists will receive the final two spots.
The two nod as Raven, now makes his way into the ring.
Raven: So… the match sounds awesome! But getting sliced and diced by barbed wire and catching on fire… doesn’t suit me too well. Why would I want to compete in this thing, what is this… prize?
Commissioner Carter: Because of the extreme nature of this match… I have decided that the winner will receive a GWF Heavyweight Championship title shot, redeemable within the next twelve months… AT ANY TIME! Meaning… that the winner chooses the moment in which he receives his title shot. No ifs ands or buts!
The crowd cheers wildly at hearing the news, however Carter continues.
Commissioner Carter: Not only that, but the man who secures the most eliminations prior to the ladder match receives an Extreme Title Shot at Chaos’ belt the night after GalactiMania!
Raven smiles and shakes his head as the crowd approves. Carter then looks to the only man not in the ring, Matador of M83. The self-righteous wrestler still stands in awe of the announcement.
Commissioner Carter: You’ve got your match.
With that Carter winks at Matador and then smiles as he teleports away. The camera focuses up on Matador’s twisted face as feed goes to commercials.

As the final match ends the feed fades to a dark alley somewhere. Krakan is seen in the shadows, gun in hand. A lone figure makes their way toward him.
Krakan: Money?
Man: Here.
The shadowed figure hands a briefcase over to Krakan.
Krakan: So… who’s the target.
Man: Picture’s in the briefcase along with the money.
Krakan: Good.
The figure starts to leave.
Krakan: I still expect the rest in my account after the job’s done.
Man: Don’t worry. It’ll be there.
With that the show fades to black.
