[glow=red,2,300]Official 16 Wrestler Bracket Announcement 10.01.2074[/glow] David Crokett IV sits at a desk with members of the U.F.S.P. surrounding him at Cetus, GWF Headquaters. Hello everyone and welcome to the official GWF Heavyweight Title 16 Bracket Announcement. Along with members of the U.F.S.P. who are in hand to watch the proceedings, I am David Crockett IV. I have been chosen to announce the entrants to the tournament. Every wrestler of the current GWF roster will be included in the tournament minus Cordsar of Mensa and the tag team of the Crosscurrents. The holoputer system has gathered information within its archives to generate seedings for this tournament. Seedings have been based on past wins for competitors who have competed professionally in other organizations. Basically, career stats if you will. This way, every wrestler has a legit ranking. For those wrestlers who have never competed professionally, they will be prone to receive a lower ranking. With all that said, lets get to the First Round bracket. Good luck to the wrestlers watching at home. Lets see what the holoputer does.Crockett: Well, the co-owner of the GWF has 15 official wins in his short career and gets the coveted #1 seed against the being from Cygnus, the newcomer Torper who is 0-1 already in the GWF. Lets see who is next. Crockett: Well, no surprise here as the former owner of the Sagitta Grasps League and living legend Torin Caelum gets the #2 spot with 13 career victories. He will face one half of the team Paladin Power Solar Flare who is a former member of the Titan Paladins during the Galactic Wars. Physically gifted, but will be tested as a singles wrestler in this one against the living legend. Okay, lets see what's next. Crockett: Like his partner Solar Flare, Moonstrike was also a member of the elite Paladins, guardians of Titan. Definitely a tough wrestler who is not afraid to face anyone in the ring, but not a lot of experience in singles competition. His opponent, however, is no stranger to being alone in the ring. K.O. Keller has held major titles before. He is one of the sport's most notable tough guys. He gets a nice seed here and it is well deserved. Alright, next up. Crockett: Here we go, the other half of the GWf ownership, Omega of Cetus gets the #4 seed. For those of you who feel that Omega should have been higher, a breif history lesson here. Omega started his early career as a tag team specialists. He will have his hands full in this matchup with the monster from Mensa, Trotarus. After a decision to leave his partner Cordsar out of the tournament, Trotarus will represent his home planet of Mensa. Next up!Crockett: The angry young man from Earth will have his hands full in this one as Jammer is the guy no one wanted in the first round. This should be a great matchup. Crockett: WHAT? This is confusing for us here folks. Apparently, there is more to this Santon that the holoputer knows than all of us including the co-owners of the GWF. Very confusing moment right now. We saw this masked being show up on our first show unnannounced and now he gets an 11 seed. I don't get it. Blood has to be upset by this pairing. Who is this guy and what does the holoputer know that we all don't? Well, moving on. Crockett: Very interesting matchup here folks and shoud be a very good match pitting the signature big man versus the tough hombre from Dorado. Looking forward to this matchup. Here we go, the last pairing Crockett: Another tremendous matchup once again. A phenominal 8-9 matchup here. The members of Dorado Sundown versus the former team of Rock Solid. Dorado will have to prove themselves in this tourney that they are a tough as they are to move on.
Well, there you have it, what an exciting time in the GWF! And we will find out who will be our first GWF Heavyweight Champion in under a week. Lets look one more time at the full bracket.
#1 Morpheus vs. #16 Torper #8 Screw vs. #9 Blacklash #12 Jammer vs. #5 Commander Sam #13 Trotarus vs. #4 Omega
Could be a real good chance for the two co-owners to battle it out in the semi-finals, but definately no chance for them to meet in the finals. Very tough bracket though.
#2 Torin Caelum vs. #15 Solar Flare #7 Ricken Prince vs. #10 Bullwhip #6 Blood vs. #11 Santon The Loner #3 K.O. Keller vs. Moonstrike
At first glance, I'd have to say that Torin Caelum and K.O. Keller have to be the front runners on this side.
Well, folks. I'm sure you all have your own opinions here as I'm sure our wrestlers do as well. Would love to hear your predictions. Send you predictions to us and then see if you were right as Champions of the Galaxy presents the GWF Heavyweight Title Tournament in 6 days. So long folks.

The Deimos Intergalactic Arena had more fans than last month almost hitting the six figure mark as 93, 665 fans were in attendance as the GWF was set to crown its first Heavyweight Champion. At ringside, was a podium standing next to the timekeeper's table. On top of the podium was a glass case with the new GWF Title locked inside. The fans were ready and the wrestlers have trained hard all month for their opportunity to become a part of history. David Crockett was at ringside ready to call the action. Crockett: From planet to planet and across the galaxy, Champions of the Galaxy presents, the Galactic Wrestling Federation. Well, folks. A slight change in how this tournament will take place. The U.F.S.P. have issued a statement about an hour ago on the holonet, that after long negotiations with the co-owners, they have decided to make things fair and even for the competitors by making this tournament a four day tournament. The first round will take place tonight and tomorrow. The Second Round will take place in 3 days and the Semi-final and finals will take place four days from tonight. The members of the board feel that this is a special event and that this decision will be in the best interest of the wrestlers. This decision has come with some scrutiny as the fans in attendance thought they would witness history tonight. However, each fan here will receive a four day pass to ensure they see our new champion crowned. You all at home too will be able to have a four day pass to witness history on your holovisions. With that said, I am your host David Crockett IV and along side assisting me with the commentating for tonight's special event is GWF Developmental Head Trainer and competitor Toro Moldavo. Welcome Toro!Moldavo: It is great to be hear David. I am excited for tonight. Part of me wishes I put my name in for this, but I am happy with my new role within the company. Crockett: Speaking of you new role, as fans will come to learn, the GWF is currently training the stars of the future in our GWF Developmental Territory located on Cetus. A few days ago, you held your first event and we here will be giving updates to the results of those cards. How are things going with that Toro? Moldavo: We have some great talent at Cetus and these guys are working hard and have much to learn. We will have a....Just then, a purple beam of light hits the center of the ring.Crockett: Well, I am sorry about this Toro, looks like we may underway. Appearing in the ring is the Mensans, Cordsar and Trotarus. Crockett: Oh come on, this was not planned to start this historic event. Who beamed these two to the ring. Cordsar grabs a R5 translator and begins to speak as the crowd begins to boo.Cordsar: (Looking around at the crowd) Listen to you all. You don't even know us and here you boo us. Well, let me tell you who we are. We are the Mensans. We are Cordsar and Tortarus. We are very loyal and dedicted citizens of our home planet of Mensa, and we are also the men who have been part of a conspiracy here in the new GWF. I, Cordsar, have been left out of the Heavyweight tournament. And why? Because I dare to speak up against the almighty owners of the GWF. And what is our punishment? I am left out of the event, and Trotarus here happens to draw Omega in the first round. Not a conspiracy you say? Yeah right! You see, you all have paid your hard earned credits to watch a show that is already planned and fixed. If you think for one second that you will not see one of the owners of the GWF win the first title tonight, then you are all stupid. It is already predetermined. Just wait and see. The rankings were a farse, leaving me out is a farse, and this whole darn night is a farse. This whole thing is.....Just then, an orange beam of light hits the ring and co-owner Omega arrives on site. The crowd cheers loudly. Cordsar goes right at it.Cordsar: Go ahead Omega! Tell the good beings here at Deimos the real deal. What's really going on here tonight. Cordsar hands the R5 to Omega. Omega grabs the R5.Omega: Cordsar! If you don't mind. You are not a participant in tonight's event. Therefore, you will be removed from ringside an allow Tortarus and I to have our match. GWF security members enter the ring and escort Cordsar out. He is screaming at Omega. The crowd cheers. Trotarus is i the ring and is visibly upset. The bell rings and we are underway. Omega extends his hands and mouths, "Nothing personal. Let's have a great match". Trotarus shakes his hand and we are off. First Round Trotarus vs. Omega Unfortunately, for Trotarus, he was very distracted and out of sorts against the young veteren Omega. Omega had the upperhand in this one ending it early. Omega applied a scissors grip, into a Cetus suplex, until finally hitting the Cosmic War Dance and pinning the big man from Mensa in only 2:23. Crockett: Well, not much Trotaurs could do in this one as Omega moves on in the second round. Moldavo: I know you are angry, but on a night like tonight where everyone has to be on top of their game, I feel Cordsar cost his partner a chance to become Heavyweight Champion. Can't be distracted tonight!Crockett: Well, let's see who Omega will face as the next two competitors hit the ring. First Round Commander Sam vs. Jammer In an exciting back and forth match pitting two young and hungry superstars who skill wise are pretty similar, the match ended with a very simple mistake by the youngster Sam when he hit the Star Spangled Banner and instead of going for the pin right away, he showboated around the ring playing to the crowd. When he finally goes for the pin, Jammer quickly rolled Sam up and scored the pin in 17:29. Sam quickly roled up to his knees looking around in pure shock. Jammer rolled out of the ring knowing full well he was lucky tonight. A look of anger fills Sam's face as he stares down Jammer who is walking away. Crockett: What an exciting match, but an unfortunate end to this one Toro for the young superstar from Earth. Moldavo: What Sam did tonight is exactly what I am trying to tell the young guys at developmental that you need take the opportunity when it comes to you and score the pin when you have a chance. There is no room for error and no room for showboating. Play to the crowd after you win. I feel terrible for Sam who I have known for a long time, but he needs to keep his emotions in check. Hopefully, after tonight, he learns from his mistake. Crockett: I couldn't agree more. Well, tomorrow night Jammer will face Omega in the second round. We see back in the ring that Sam is refusing to leave the ring, still in shock that he lost the match. As the referee is trying to move him along so the night can continue, a green beam of light fills the ring and low and behold, the soldier from Cygnus, Torper arrives. The referee can be seen saying, "Are you serious? Why would you beam him of all beings now?" Torper looks over and sees Sam and a look of panic fills his face as Sam quickly diverts his anger and attention to Torper. The referee now calls for help knowing full well that Sam will no be contained with Torper in the ring. "No Sam, not now! Just leave. Your night is over!", says the referee. Oh, it's far from over my friend", Sam replies as he quickly lunges at his enemy. Sam and Torper exchange blows. Sam then sends Torper into the ropes and nails the Star Spangled Banner on Torper. Torper lays lifeless in the center of the ring. Sam lays down next to him as begins to scream at the unconscious Torper. Finally, security arrives along with Omega and Morpheus. Omega can be heard saying to Morpheus as they struggle with Sam , "Whoever beamed Torper in will be fired. And Sam, calm down or you will be suspended." Security removes Sam from the ring as Sam exits with a mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd. Morpheus tries to revive Torper who finally comes to. Omega turns to Morpheus, "You cannot have this match my friend with Torper, not in his state of condition." Morpheus looks at Omega, "You can't be serious? You remove Cordsar from the arena and go on to face a distracted Trotarus and beat him in two minutes and that's okay? Yet, I can't have my match? I don't think so MY FRIEND! Remove yourslef from this ring and let me have my match." Omega, looking confused, reluctantly leaves the ring. Morpheus helps Torper to his feet and makes sure he's okay. Torper knods his head and hugs Morpheus in thanks. After the embrace, Morpheus extends his hand and the two shake. Then, Morpheus hit the Trip to Hades on Torper knocking him out yet again. Morpheus looks at the ref, "Well, what are you waiting for? We shook hands....now count!" The referee gets down and counts 1,2,3. Morpheus jumps up and raises his hands in the air. The crowd, loving Morpheus, cheers loudly as Morpheus is a very popular superstar and a heavy favorite amongst the fans. Crockett: Not sure what to say here Toro. Not sure if this was right or night from the co-owner. Moldavo: I will have to disagree David. It's unfortunate for Torper as he was taken out early in this one by Sam, but the night must go on. Torper had an opportunity once he saw Sam to get out of the ring, but he chose to stay in a try and duke it out. Big mistake and he paid for it. Morpheus took advantage of that mistake and moves on. A stretcher comes down and Torper is lifted out of the ring as a green beam of light hits and the crowd knows who is arriving. Blacklash enters to a round of boos and cheers. He requests an R5 from an attendant at ring side. Blacklash: Well, well, well! Yall enjoyin' the flat out coruption of tonight's festivities. Those to co-ownin' varments have really sugar coated their way to the second round huh? And here I draw the monster Screw! Well, rest assure ya co-ownin pieces of trash. Unlike Torper, Cordsar and Trotarus...Blacklash don't get distracted and Blacklash don't get intimidated! Ya tryin to make thngs difficult in the first round for me? Ha, watch as I dismantle this SCREWED UP MONSTER!On command, Screw is beamed to the ring. Screw is looking around as if he is looking for somone else other than Blacklash. Blacklash extends his hand, but Screw is still looking around. Blacklash yells over to Screw, "My hand is over here ya big dummy!" Looking more comfortable, Screw turns his attention to Blacklash and shakes his hand. The match begins. First Round Screw vs. Blacklash The action in this one was awesome as both beings went back and forth hitting their trademark moves on one another leaving the crowd cheering. Each competitor would try and get the pin only to have the other kick out at 2. Finally, Screw has Blacklash in a bearhug, but then the lights in the arena go out. The crowd begins to murmer not knowing what's happening. Crockett: Not sure what's happening here Toro. Anyone from the back knows what's going on? Is this an outage? Suddenly, a white flash of what looks like lightening hits the center of the ring. Crockett: Oh my gosh! What the heck?Ten seconds after the thunderous crash, the lights turn back on, and in the center of the ring we see Blacklash laying on top of Screw, both men passed out. The referee looks down and sees Screw's shoulders to the mat. He jumps down and counts to 3. Blacklash moves on. Crockett: What in the Galaxy just happened? Toro, what do you make of this? Moldavo: I am at a loss for words David. No idea what happened, but Blacklash apparently has won this match. But both men are out of it. The referee and members from our medical staff are trying to revive both beings here. I am speechless. Crockett: I am too, but folks what a way to end the night. Much controversy here indeed that I am sure will be blowing up the holonet tonight. So, the first bracket of the first round is complete as Omega will face Jammer and Morpheus is set to do battle against Blacklash. Tomorrow night, we will have the second part of our first round event. K.O. Keller vs. Moonsrtike, Blood takes on Santon, Bullwhip faces Ricken Prince, and Torin Caelum faces Solar Flare. A lot to straighten out after tonight. We will see you all tomorrow night. For Toro Moldavo, I am David Crockett IV....Thanks for joining us!

Another great read. I like the flow of the GWF Developmental League. It has an 'anything can happen' type of vibe to it. Crockett: With that said, I am your host David Crockett IV and along side assisting me with the commentating for tonight's special event is GWF Developmental Head Trainer and competitor Toro Moldavo. Welcome Toro!Moldavo: It is great to be hear David. I am excited for tonight. Part of me wishes I put my name in for this, but I am happy with my new role within the company. Keen insights from Moldavo throughout the show. The commentating tandem of Toro and Crockett IV are top shelf all the way! We see back in the ring that Sam is refusing to leave the ring, still in shock that he lost the match. As the referee is trying to move him along the night can continue, a green beam of light fills the ring and low and behold, the soldier from Cygnus, Torper arrives. For the immorality of their crimes, I hope Sam and Morpheus will go on to face the harsh effects of future bad karma, if not in this life, then surely in the next!
