Don't consider myself much of an Early Classics connoisseur, but it's always fun to see a lot of these characters in action... Too bad the Estorians didn't manage to win those tag straps... The DKS didn't look like such a pair of tough hombres when the Gamemasters arrived however...

Congrats to Caelum on a superb title defense - two straight falls... AND a classy move by Marlboro to stop the beatdown by Hood... With Mangus also getting involved, this has the makings of a wicked tag team main event...

Although my commentary might be limited, this fed will be a pleasure to follow... Great storytelling and the presentation flows nicely... Looking forward to more!

The next show will be the July 2080 Arena Show and will feature some big matches! Here is the line-up!

Silvar vs. Moonstrike - Moonstrike seems to be focusing on singles matches for now. He won vs Mimic on the last show...will he begin a streak?

Commander Sam vs. Mimic - After Sam & Morpheus' loss to Jack Hood & Mangus on the last show, Sam is just trying to re-establish himself.

The Wind Riders vs. Defiance - The very popular "hometown" tagteam, the Wind Riders vs the no-nonsense tagteam, Defiance.

Ricken Prince vs. KO Keller - Keller has proven he's still got it, taking reigning GWF Champ, Torin Caelum, to the limit and then defeating Hechilles, he has now set his sights on Ricken Prince. Keller is looking to teach Prince a lesson with how Prince humiliated Silvar on the last show.

Caiman & Hechilles vs. The Estorians - The Estorians are wanting another title shot. Standing in their way is a new team made up of former singles champions, Hechilles (former 2x GWF and former 1x I-P champ) & Caiman (former 3x I-P champ). For the Estorians, Hechilles & Caiman are "stepping stones"; for Hechilles & Caiman, The Estorians are the "gateway".

Jack Hood vs. Morpheus in a P.O.W. Rules Match - Morpheus suffered a bad loss to Jack Hood & Mangus. He is looking to rid the GWF of Hood before Hood gets comfortable. Hood brings an attitude that both Morpheus & Omega wanted to leave behind when they founded the GWF. With Omega out for a number more months (due to an attack by Hood & Mangus), it seems that the defense of the GWF has fallen on the shoulders of Morpheus.

Mangus, Destroyer of Humans vs. Mighty Grogan (c) for the GWF Interplanetary Title - Grogan has powered his way to the I-P belt and has been dominating since he entered the federation. This time, though, he faces the Cygnusian, Mangus. Mangus has found a dangerous ally in the violent Jack Hood. How long will that "friendship" last? And who will turn on the other first? Right now, Mangus has his mind set on the GWF Interplanetary Title.

The GameMasters vs. Diablo Kill Squad (c) for the GWF Galaxian Tag Team Titles in a Tag Team Elimination Match - The GameMasters are out for REVENGE! Omega was injured at the hands of the DKS, and the tag team has attacked several other teams and individuals in the GWF. Omega, being Cosmos' mentor and Star Warrior's father, holds a special place in both GameMasters' hearts and minds. Insiders are not sure if the GameMasters are looking to win the belts for a 3rd time, or injure the DKS...either way, there is blood on the horizon.

Harley Marlboro vs. Torin Caelum (c) for the GWF Galaxian Title in a Cosmic Cage Match - a rematch due to Jack Hood's interference on the last show, both men asked for the cage. Marlboro has stated that if he doesn't win the belt this time (he has had 3 shots: 2 in 2077 and 1 on the last show), he will ride off into the sunset...Caelum is just looking to be the greatest GWF Champion the federation has ever had.

*Moonstrike quickly puts away Sivar with the PALADIN DROP

**As Commander Sam makes his way to the ring, it is noted that there is a bandage across his throat, presumably from Jack Hood's THE RIPPER from the previous show...the commentators ask the question: Why isn't that move, THE RIPPER, banned from the GWF due to the extreme violence it brings?

*Commander Sam defeats Mimic after SAM'S ATOMIC DROP

*Defiance over The Wind Riders by pinfall after Blood does SCAR TISSUE onRama

*Ricken Prince takes the match, fighting back after a TEN COUNT, putting Keller away with the ROYAL DECREE

**After the match, Ricken Prince begins to slap Keller on the head, a repeat of what he did to Silvar a couple of months ago, but before he was able to do anything else, Keller steals Prince's own move, nailing him with a BOW TO THE PRINCE (a low blow)! As Prince tried to recover, he instead was knocked out with THE TEN COUNT!! Keller stood over Prince, glaring down at the laid out Prince...

*The Estorians put down the upstart challenge of Hechilles & Caiman when Tantalis pinned Caiman after a SUPERKICK

**It is noted that Hechilles & Caiman have a promising future in the tag ranks, if they choose to continue in that direction, as they took The Estorians nearly to the limit

**POW Rules Match**
(Morpheus vs. Jack Hood)

*Morpheus overcomes the odds, fighting out of a camel clutch hold, when Omega came out (on crutches), and shouted in his face to dig down deep and FIGHT!! Morpheus did, as the match spilt to the outside, where he reversed a slam into the ringside steps, setting up Morpheus to plant Jack Hood through the announce table with the TRIP TO HADES. A 2nd TRIP TO HADES in the ring leads to the 3-count

*A Bloodied Torin Caelum (4 tokens) escapes the cage after locking a bloodied Harley Marlboro (6 tokens) in the CAELUM'S GRIP

**After the match, Marlboro is recovering in the ring...Caelum climbs back in, helps Marlboro up, then offers to shake hands...Marlboro takes his hand, raises it. Caelum & Marlboro give each other a respectful hug (Caelum drops the belt to hug Marlboro). Caelum starts to reach down to pick up the belt, but Marlboro stops him, reaches down and picks it up instead. He looks at the belt, then hands it to Caelum. They shake hands once more, but Marlboro doesn't release Caelum's hand...then BAM!! Marlboro nails Caelum with a short-arm clothesline!! He then smashes Caelum with the belt, knocking Caelum unconscious!! Marlboro stands over Caelum, looks at the belt, now smeared with Caelum's blood, then drops the belt and walks out of the ring and then out of the arena...

As the GWF recovers from the apparent turn in attitude of the popular Harley Marlboro and his post-match assault on GWF Champion, Torin Caelum...and not to mention the stunning defeats of The GameMasters by current Tag Champs, the Diablo Kill Squad, and new Interplanetary Champion, Mangus, winning the belt from the ever-popular Mighty Grogan...the GWF marches on with the next show, the GWF August 2080 Arena Show at the Deimos InterGalactic Arena!

**Mimic & Silvar's match doesn't even take place as Harley Marlboro ran out and attacked both wrestlers. Mimic was tossed through the ropes, but Silvar wasn't so lucky, as he was planted with the MARLBORO RUSH, before he, too, was tossed to the arena floor. Marlboro then grabbed the mic...Marlboro says that he has been asked about last month...and that he said he would leave the GWF...Marlboro says here is the answer: He never signed anything about him leaving the GWF. And as far as last month, attacking Caelum? Marlboro slides out of the ring and plants a recovering Silvar onto the concrete with another MARLBORO RUSH! Harley then leaves the ring area, taunting the fans, and mocking Torin Caelum...

*Sexy Cobra Rex defeats Jack Hood by DQ when Hood locked on THE RIPPER and refused to release the hold

**Hood continued his assault, refusing to release THE RIPPER! After several minutes, finally the officials were able to get Hood to release the violent bite hold from Rex' throat. Blood was spraying and gushing from Rex' gashed throat! Hood laughed, blood trickling from Hood's metallic teeth, as the medics tended to Rex, taking him away on a stretcher...

*Hechilles & Caiman defeat The CrossCurrents by pin after Hechilles planted Vortex with THE END in a tough match

**Morpheus makes his way to the ring for an announcement. Solemnly, Morpheus says that Sexy Cobra Rex has died from his wounds suffered in his match earlier tonight against Jack Hood. Hood has left the arena, and as of right now, is no where to be found. Authorities, though, are looking for him. Also, as of right now, Jack Hood has been banned from the GWF, and will never be allowed to wrestle in the Galaxian Wrestling Federation again. This is not just Morpheus' ruling, but every other competitor on the roster has signed an agreement to not enter a contractual arrangement with Jack Hood....Tonight, the GWF mourns the loss of of one of their own...Sexy Cobra Rex...

With that announcement, Morpheus then says that the show will end right now...the final 2 matches (Defiance vs. DKS © for the Tag Titles and himself vs. Torin Caelum © for the GWF Title) will be held on the next show, which will be a Memorial Show in Rex' home system of Andromeda...

Have not used Harley yet, but I like the way you use him.

Not surprised with Hood as he is a strong card to use. and is really a vicious one.

Shout out to Commander Sam for winning a title for the second time.

Cobra Rex gone .... that is kind of sad.

Here is hoping that the tag titles and GWF titles change hands.

GWF Sexy Cobra Rex Memorial Show
Serpent's Covenant Den, Andromeda 7, Andromeda
(CARD #90 / August 25, 2080)

**To start off the Memorial Show, a video package of Cobra Rex' time in training wrestling on his home system and arean, Serpent's Covenant Den, here on Andromeda 7. After the video package, Morpheus and Omega made their way out to the ring. They spoke briefly about Cobra Rex, and the promise he had in the GWF. They then introduced Rex' father (his mother had died when he was a youngling), shaking his hand, and giving him a memorial statue of Rex. At that point, every wrestler, official and referee in the GWF came out to the entrance stage, stood in honor of the fallen Cobra Rex, as the 10 bell salute was done, ending in the Andromedan crowd standing in cheers...

*Mimic stuns Mangus, locking him in the MIME NERVE SLEEPER for the submission

*The CrossCurrents over Paladin Power as Vortex fights back, pinning Moonstrike after a Spinning Vortex

*The "Night of Upsets" continue as The Wind Riders defeat The Estorians (current GWF Galaxian Tag Team Title Top Contenders) when Tano pinned Parsec after the DEIMOS DRIVER

*Harley Marlboro puts away a fighting Silvar, ending the match with the MARLBORO RUSH

**After the match, Marlboro wasn't finished, as he then planted Silvar with the top rope modified MARLBORO RUSH!! Torin Caelum rushed the ring, but Marlboro slid under the ropes, escaping Caelum...Caelum glared at Harley, as Harley grinned, making the "belt around the waist" motion, as he walked towards the back...

*The GameMasters defeat Hechilles & Caiman when Star Warrior locked on the CETUS SLEEPER on Hechilles

*KO Keller (current GWF Galaxian Title Top Contender) takes the win by DQ over Ricken Prince when he was DQ'd for BOW TO THE PRINCE

**AFter the match, the ref was trying to keep Prince from continuing his attack on Keller. Prince shoved the referee out of the way and stepped right into Keller's TEN COUNT, knocking Prince out flat on his back!!

**Marlboro isn't finished, as he sets up Caelum for another MARLBORO RUSH onto the chair outside the ring...but Omega rushes to the ring, confronting Harley...Marlboro shrugs, begins to walk away, but quickly turns around and smashes Omega (who was helping Caelum up) with the chair!! Harley begins to put the boots to Omega, before laying him out with a Harley Hangover neckbreaker. Marlboro then leaves the ring...

Awesome performance by both challenger and champion in the main event... Very cool that Keller has won the top prize six times and I'm wondering if that's a record in your fed...

Would have liked to see the Estorians claim the tag belts, but DKS are a couple of tough hombres...

And it's impossible to ignore the recent escapades of Harley Marlboro... Since Jack Hood is now a fugitive from justice, it looks like Mr Marlboro is trying to become the most vicious man in the federation...
