The Galactic Wide Wrestling theme plays as pictures of Pictures of the old UWA Shows flash across the screen the final picture stops and it is of UWA founder Mark Crockett with the words January 5, 2036 – April 30, 2080 R.I.P. The picture fades and we see UWA commentator Markus Agnew in a suit and tie wearing glasses standing in front of a backdrop of the known universe and the words Galactic Wide Wrestling.
Agnew: Welcome back everyone to the rebirth of the UWA. As was shown in the opening April 30th was a dark day for all of us here in the UWA when are owner and founder Mark Crockett passed away from injuries he sustained in a hovercar accident which also claimed the lives of his son David and UWA star White Tiger. The Crockett family closed down the UWA and sold off all the assets, but one man decide to not let the UWA die, that man’s family name is also famous here on earth for wrestling. That family name being McMahon and the man in question well here he is to introduce himself to all of you old and new fans of the UWA. I give you Mr. Donovan McMahon.
McMahon: Thank you Markus and it is truly a pleasure to once again have the McMahon name associated with the great sport of wrestling. As you all know tonight is a special night as the UWA is reborn. I promise you this new UWA will be exciting and better then before but we will not forget Mark Crockett and all he did for the UWA we will be honouring him in the weeks to come. Also on tomorrow night’s show I will have more announcements.
Agnew: Thank you Mr. McMahon and we will look forward to those announcements. But tonight we celebrate New Year’s Eve and the start of the UWA Championship tournament that will conclude tomorrow night right here on TSN not only will it be a new Year but we will also have a new Champion. So let’s go to the ring and Dave Brown for the first match.
Galactic Punisher defeated Wolf via pinfall at the 18:42 mark of the match when Punisher connected with the LIFE SENTENCE.
Match Rating: *****
Match notes: Wolf dominated most of the match even busting the Punisher open from 5 Savage Face Claws. But Punisher made a surprising comeback in the last minutes of the match.Agnew: Well it looks like are first match is a bloody one as the galactic cop teaches Wolf that crime doesn’t pay nor does scaring little kids. And it looks like Galactic Punisher is going to join us.
Galactic Punisher walks onto the Announcers stage but before he can even say anything Wolf comes roaring onto the stage and nails a surprised Punisher with the DECAPITATOR knocking Punisher into the Agnew`s podium and then he again pus on the Savage Face Claw making Punisher scream in pain. Refs and security come out and try to pull Wolf off but it takes several minutes before he lets go. He then looks into the camera and Howls then walks off as the refs and trainers help Punisher to the back.
Agnew: Well it looks like Wolf doesn’t take losing very well. We have to take a Commercial Break then we will be right back with the action.
COMMERCIAL BREAKWe come back from commercial break and to UWA Ring announcer standing in the ring ready to introduce the next match.
Exo-King defeated Torin Caelum via submission at the 16:34 mark of the match when King captured Torin in the DEATH VISE.
Match Rating: ***1/2
Match notes: Torin had the match won early but Mesmer the Wizard of Wrestling interfered pulling the ref out of the ring. He then attacked Torin and kept him busy until Exo-King could recover.Agnew: Well I am not sure what to say, we all knew that Mesmer and Exo-King where working together in the old UWA but we were not sure if that would continue into the new UWA. But obviously it has.
Voice: Well someone needs to do something about that and soon.
Torin Caelum walks onto the announcer’s stage.
Caelum: Mesmer he cheap piece of garbage you think you and the so called King of wrestling are going to run this fed and take the Universal Championship title. That is a joke if you didn’t save your precious king I would have won and then where would he be no where Mesmer I will be watching you and when this tournament is over you and me have a date in that ring.
With that Caelum walks off.
Agnew: Well looks like Mesmer better watch it, I have known Torin Caelum for some time and I have not seen him that mad. Unfortunately folks we have to go to another commercial break so come back we have more action coming.
Commercial BreakAgnew: Welcome back folks our next match is a special treat for us. One of earth’s legendary wrestlers will be in action. Junk Yard Dog will take on one of this eras greats in Omega. This is sure to be a classic.
Omega defeated Junk Yard Dog via pinfall at the 10:56 mark of the match when Omega nailed JYD with the TOMAHAWK THRUST.

Match notes: One sided match with Omega dominating from open to close. [/i]
Agnew: What a match Omega just showed that he is determined to become the first Universal Champion of the Reborn UWA. Our next match features a man that knows Omega vary well that being Morpheus and he will be taking on another of Earths Legends in the Cuban Assassin.
Morpheus defeated The Cuban Assassin via pinfall at the 5:54 mark of the match when Morpheus nailed The Cuban Assassin with the TRIP TO HADES.
Match Rating: **
Match notes: Morpheus came out to make a statement by putting away the Assassin in record time.[/i]
Agnew: Wow was it me or did both Omega and Morpheus seem determined tonight to show they are the top two men in this fed. Well this next match folks should be interesting for acouple of reasons first it involves Mesmer and we already seen tonight he has already crossed Torin Caelum and the second reason is his opponent Don Leo Jonathan we know from the old UWA that Mesmer, Exo-King and Don Leo have not seen eye to eye, King and Mesmer tried everything they could to prevent the big Earth legend from making any headway in the UWA. Will things be the same here in the New UWA?
Mesmer defeated Don Leo Johnathan via submission at the 10:42 mark of the match when Mesmer locks on the BLACK OUT.
Match Rating: **1/2
Match notes: Mesmer had help to win this match, the self proclaimed King of wrestling returned the favorer Mesmer did for him earlier in the night and attacked Jonathan the two double teamed Don Leo Jonathan and he was unable to overcome the odds.

Commercial BreakAgnew:Welcome back to Galactic Wide Wrestling. We have another great round 1 match here on the New Years Eve Bash addition of are Rebirth of the UWA special. This match should be interesting as it has the Legendary Johnny Valentine. So let’s go to the ring for the action.
Johnny Valentine defeated Justice via pinfall at the 21:41 mark of the match when nailed Justice with THE ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER.
Match Rating: *****
Match notes: Nice back and forth match with near falls for both men but in the end Valentines experience turned the tide in the machAgnew: What a great match both men giving it there all for the UWA fans and it looks like we are going to be graced by the presents of the Legend himself Johnny Valentine.
Valentine: Agnew is this what they call competition in the UWA. This wet behind the ears punk and these other rejects from a circus. When I was approached by McMahon to join this fed I was told it had only the best wrestling had to offer wrestling for it. So far the only good wrestler I have seen here is me.
Agnew: Well what about the other earth wrestling Legends here in the UWA Frank Gotch, Don Leo Jonathan, Gorgeous George, The Cuban Assassin, Jerry Jarrett and Pedro Morales to name a few.
Valentine: And how many of them are in the second round of this championship Tournament?
Agnew: Well besides you none but …
Valentine: (interrupting Agnew) I rest my case it doesn’t matter if some of them still have to fight none will top me, I made that punk Justice look good tonight and that it as for that Universal title shine that baby up Mr. McMahon cause I am taking it home with me tomorrow night.
With that Valentine walks off,
Agnew: Well it looks like Johnny Valentine is not impressed with the UWA. We need to take another commercial break but we will be right back.
COMMERCIAL BREAKThe show comes back to Dave Brown in the ring making the introductions for the next match.
Pedro Morales defeated Gorgeous George via pinfall at the 12:02 mark of the match when nailed George with the BACKBREAKER.
Match Rating: ****
Match notes: Back and for the match with George tiring to get the upper hand most of the match. Cherie Dupre got involved but still could not help the Gorgeous one win.Agnew: What a great match from two of earths legends. And it looks like Pedro Morales is going to join us.
Pedro Morales walks on to the announcer’s stage and shakes hands with Agnew.
Agnew: I congratulate you on a fine win tonight and ask you who do you think your opponent in the next round will be.
Morales: Thank you Markus and I am not sure who my opponent will be but I can promise I will give the fans everything I have,
Suddenly Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupre walks onto the stage.
George: The only reason you won to tonight is because I passed out from holding my breath.
Agnew: What do you mean holding your breath ??
George: Well just smell him he stinks worse than a Tijuana back ally at high noon. It was all I could do not to barf. Have you never heard of a shower where you are from my god.
Cherie then sprays Morales with perfume and George then whispers something to Cherie but Pedro must have heard it because he attacks George and they brawl all the way to the back.
Agnew: I apologize folks for this but we have to take are last commercial break when we come back it’s the main event.
COMMERCIAL BREAKAgnew: Welcome back to Galactic Wide Wrestling. It’s now time for our main event and what a main event it is two of Earths legends battling it out to see who moves on to tomorrow night and the Universal Championship. Frank Gotch and Jerry Jarrett who will be the winner and go on to wrestle on tomorrow night’s show and possibly for the UWA Championship.
Frank Gotch defeated Jerry Jarrett via submission at the 10:49 mark of the match when Gotch catches Jarrett with a guillotine choke.
Match Rating: ****
Match notes: That match opened with the ref giving both men instruction and they started jawing and shoving each other Gotch gets the upper hand in the shoving match and keeps it for the rest of the match.Agnew: Well folks that is it for this episode of Galactic Wide Wrestling don’t forget tomorrow night we will be back with the conclusion of the Universal Championship Tournament.
