Match 1: Pekhota vs. The Regulators
Pekhota controlled the match working over Esperanto with good fluent tags. Esperanto, in desperation, nailed Molotok on the outside of the ring when Molotok tried a deathjump! Esperanto tagged in Hustler who nearly knocked Molotok's head off with the Curb Jaw! But Pekhota wouldn't be denied and Molotok tagged in Kulak who took care of Hustler with two BAYONET'S!
Match 2: Avarice vs. Torpor (2074)
Torpor tried to keep up with Avarice but to no avail. Avarice hit his Crown of Thorns and then the 7TH SIN, to put Torpor down for the count!
Match 3: American Guy (2119) vs. Aspin Northstar (aCe 2121)
American Guy dominated the match, crushing Northstar outside the ring, and Northstar barely got back into the ring in time. After that, American Guy hit his finisher AMERICAN FIREPOWER to put Northstar down for the 3 count!
Match 4: Manslaughter (SE 2117) vs. Cuddly Claw (PM)
Another lop sided match, Manslaughter just dominated. Hitting power bomb after power bomb! Cuddly Claw didn't fall asleep during the match, but he didn't have to, Manslaughter beat him with SNAP, CRACKLE AND POP!!!
Match 5: Montrol (2084) vs. Royal Overlord (2089)
Montrol dominated Overlord with a potent offensive attack. Overlord left the ring to try and slow the pace of Montrol, but Montrol wasted no time going out and throwing Overlord back into the ring. He hits his finisher MONTROL STEAMROLLER to beat Royal Overlord in a battle of jobbers!
Match 6: Moral Majority vs. Twin Blood
In a decent match, Moral Majority dominated Sleeze, making him a bloody mess. Sleeze managed to get a hot tag and Dreggs came in and cleaned house! Varsity managed to slow Dreggs down a bit and he and Sabre double teamed Dreggs. Dreggs gets a hot tag into Sleeze, but MM just seemed too prepared, as they beat Sleeze when Varsity hit his HALO!
Match 7: BATTLE ZONE MATCH
Star Warrior (2079, 2083, 2087, 2091) vs. Cosmos/Thantos (2076, 2079, 2083, 2087)
Match started off with Star Warrior (2087) vs. Cosmos (2079)
great back and forth match between these two, Star Warrior used his veteran ring savy to keep Cosmos unbalanced. But Cosmos wouldn't stay down and fought back to really battered Star Warrior, getting numerous pinfalls. Star Warrior again fights back like a true veteran and pins Cosmos with NOVA LAUNCH to knock off the Young Thantos!
Star Warrior awaits the next opponent.... Thantos (2087)!!!!!
Thantos and Star Warrior battled back and forth, but the ending was a surprise when Thantos missed a turnbuckle charge and Star Warrior rolled him up for a pinfall attempt. Thantos kicked out but was met with a NOVA LAUNCH and went down!
Star Warrior continues to impress, a bloody mess after his match with Cosmos and stays alive knocking off Thantos! Who's Next?......Cosmos (2083)
Star Warrior is a true "Warrior", just showing Cosmos no mercy in the match. How is he doing it? He manages to pin Cosmos with a crossbody block to stay alive!
Team Cosmos is down to their last remaining member....Cosmos (2076)
Cosmos gave Star Warrior everything he had, even two MASTERDROP'S and Star Warrior kicked out!!! Star Warrior would not give up and stayed alive and fought back like a true ring general! Star Warrior took it to Cosmos, crushing him to the outside of the ring, abusing his own body to try and take out Cosmos! Star Warrior knocked out Cosmos with some boxing jabs to win the battle zone match.
summary: Star Warrior 2087 just took a beating (8 tokens) and refused to lose! Everything Cosmos/Thantos threw at him, he came back. The other Star Warriors didn't even get to see ring action as 2087 did it all! What a performance by one of CotG's greatest wrestlers!!!!
Thanks again to Tommy B for choosing this match, it just blew me away that Star Warrior just kept kicking out of everything!!! That's just too sweet!
