2090 Quarter 3 (July-September)
July: The first major UCW event after the Guile Cup was headlined by Wolf retaining the Universal Title in a hard-fought match against Aethran enemy Brute. Eastern Dynasty kept their improbable Universal Tag Title reign going with a win over the team they beat to win the Guile Cup, the Royal Family. On the undercard, Galactic Punisher and Pulsar Prime competed as a team called the "New Heroes" and defeated the Norse Gods. In another notable match, Death Masque scored a major upset over former Universal Champion Spike with the Meltdown. The GWF crowned new (sort of) champions as Star Warrior won the Galaxian Title for the 2nd time, while the Greek Gods regained the Galaxian Tag Team Titles for an astounding 9th time, defeating the AniMen when Actagon submitted Incredible Badger.
August: UCW continued to innovate as issues between the New Heroes, Wolf, Mesmer and the Eastern Dynasty during the August tour led to the main event of the August Supershow being the first Double Titles match as both the Universal and Universal Tag titles were on the line in a 6-man tag match between Wolf & The New Heroes and Mesmer & Eastern Dynasty. The rules of the match were such that if Wolf's team won, the New Heroes would be crowned the tag champions, and if Mesmer's team won he would be come the new Universal champion. In the event, Wolf beat Mitsuko with a neckbreaker giving the New Heroes their first Universal Tag Title Championship! Among other matches on the undercard, former Universal Champion Executioner's run of bad luck continued as he lost in the opening match to Bishop Hell. Over in GWF land, recently independent wrestler Terak was signed for the August Supercard and was matched up against former partner Renegade. They put on an amazing exhibition that had the crowd on it's feet with Renegade finally winning it with a Shoulder Breaker. In the main event, Thantos won the Universal Title for the 7th time, defeating Star Warrior with a Masterlock.
September: Big news out of the September UCW Supershow as Brute made good on his second chance at singles glory, shocking Wolf to win the Universal Title. The New Heroes also legitimized their title reign by beating the Eastern Dynasty in something of a "rematch". Also, there was an Independent Performance Offer Match, as independent stars Lance At-Las defeated the Guardian. The Galaxian Tag Titles bounced again in the GWF as the AniMen won the titles for the 3rd time in 2090 beating the Greek Gods. Also on the card, but largely forgotten, Justice made his GWF debut, defeating Reptillo.
After September 2090 GWF: Galaxian Champion: Thantos Galaxian Tag Champions: AniMen UCW: Universal Champion: Brute Universal Tag Champions: New Heroes (Pulsar Prime & Galactic Punisher)

2090 Quarter 4 (October-December)
October: This month saw the GWF turned on it's head. One reason was the start of the annual GWF trial series, which included such past and future stars as Terak (teaming again with Renegade), Vlad Hammer (forming an interesting team with young Adam Blast), Count Necros, Mr. Galaxy, Justice and Matador of M83. The other reason was that after Thantos' successful defense of the Galaxian Title against Star Warrior, he and Krakan brutally beat the son of Omega, earning both a lengthy suspension. In addition, Thantos was stripped of the Galaxian Title! What this meant for the annual King of the Galaxy tournament and the future of the GWF would soon be known....
Meanwhile, over in UCW, the Aethrans brought their own innovation to the party: The Aethran Ultimate Escape match! Originally scheduled to be The Gladiators and Spike vs. Wolf and Team Titan, Massacre was withdrawn due to an injury and replaced with "Aethran" independent star The Guardsman. In the event, Wolf's team pulled out the win with The Guardsman being the only member of the Aethran team to not escape. Also, on the undercard, Mutant scored the biggest singles win of his (its?) career, beating former Universal champion Executioner.
November: With the Galaxian Championship now vacated, the GWF Championship Committee took the following action:
1) The traditional King of Galaxy year end tournaments would be altered in the following way: a) The King of Galaxy Tag tournament is canceled b) The King of Galaxy Singles tournament will be an 8-man tournament. The 8 competitors will be the winners of 8 open draw (non-seeded) matches taking place at the November Supercard. All non-suspseneded members of the GWF roster, including November trialists, will enter the open draw except for the AniMen and the Greek Gods who face each other in a Galaxian Tag Title Match at the supercard. c) The winner of the King of Galaxy Singles tournament 2090 would be crowned the new Galaxian Champion
So, the November card was a big one for the GWF wrestlers. The following men won their matches and moved on to December's King of Galaxy final tournament: Star Warrior (defeated Renegade) Lord Nexus (defeated Earthquake) Comrade Terror (defeated Exo-King) Commander Sam (defeated protege and sometimes tag partner Adam Blast) Bounty Hunter (defeated Count Necros) Terak (defeated Reptillo) Matador (defeated Justice) Massif (defeated Tongsoon)
Capping off the evening, the Greek Gods won the Galaxian Tag Team Titles for the 10th time. Comparatively, the UCW November supercard was less newsworthy, the New Heroes and Brute both retained their titles. Executioner's losing streak was starting to reach ridiculous levels, having lost to Mesmer he lashed out at the referee and the crowd. It was clear that the pressure of this losing streak was starting to get to him....
December: A newly-aggressive Executioner showed up for his match against the (now healthy) Massacre at the December UCW supercard and a wild brawl ensued. Massacre, seemingly making up for the lost time from his injury, actually was DQ'd. After the match though, it was clear that Massacre enjoyed the brawl and congratulated Executioner on a job well done. "Don't worry about these stupid, soft idiots, Marcel. Think about it." With that, the Executioner UNMASKED leaving his mask in a crumpled heap on the canvas with the crowd looking on in shock. In the title matches, the New Heroes kept rolling, beating the Royal Family team of Mad Jester & Killer Queen, while Brute seemed to take the same approach his partner Massacre did earlier and battle fiercely until getting disqualified, losing the match, but keeping the title.
The King of Galaxy 2090 was the focal point of the GWF's year, and this year it had the added attraction of crowning a new Galaxian Champion due to Thantos' suspension and stripping of the title. 8 men had qualified in November for the final tournament. The results:
Quarterfinals: Lord Nexus defeated Matador of M83 Bounty Hunter defeated Commander Sam Comrade Terror defeated Terak Star Warrior defeated Massif
Semifinals: Bounty Hunter defeated Lord Nexus Comrade Terror upset Star Warrior
Finals (and Galaxian Championship match): Bounty Hunter defeated Comrade Terror
So Bounty Hunter won the title for the 2nd time to end an eventful 2090 for GWF and pro wrestling in general!
Year End Champions 2090: GWF: Galaxian Champion and King of Galaxy 2090: Bounty Hunter Galaxian Tag Team Champions: Greek Gods UCW: Universal Champion: Brute Universal Tag Champions: New Heroes

2091 Quarter 1 (January-March)
January: With the start of the new year, both the GWF and UCW had their yearly contract signings, and the resulting roster re-alignments. Things were mostly quiet on the GWF side, with the major news being Vlad Hammer signing a full-time contract, at the expense of Krakan who left to go freelance. This was not particularly significant in and of itself, only that Hammer and Adam Blast formalized the team from the end of last year, leaving Commander Sam without a partner. While everyone though this would mean that Sam would be going after the Galaxian Championship again (he last held it at the end of 2086), Star Warrior decided to rejoin the tag ranks as Sam's partner! Both teams got off to a slow start, as the Young Allies lost to the Cosmic Forces and the FDF Legends team lost to Prison camp (Tongsoon & Tendron the Destroyer) on the January supercard.
The big, if unsurprising, news from UCW was the fact that the Executioner Marcel de Sade did not sign a full-time contract. It was agreed that he would stay on as cover for injured/suspended wrestlers as needed. His first task was to team with Massacre (as Brute was defending his Universal Title). He showed up in a new outfit, with a whip calling himself "Whiplash". He addressed the crowd before the match:
"To understand who I am you must understand how I got here. Back in '86, the man who is now owner of the company contacted me. He told me that he was buying some dump of a wrestling promotion and he needed some familiar faces to build his vision. I joined him. Frankly in those days, the competition here was crap. I BUILT this company. ME. If not for me, The Aetrans wouldn't be here. Wolf wouldn't be here. Mesmer, the Heroes, the Titans..none of them. I WAS THE FIRST. But then something strange happened: As all the new 'toys' came in, no one cared about the old Executioner. While Guile counted the money he made off of my back, I got to open shows. I'm sick of it, and now I'm 'lashing' out. So now, I am Whiplash. A few of you have stuck with me through all this, and to you I want you to know that I am competing for you. To the rest of you, well: you can all thumbscrew yourselves.." With that Whiplash won the match against the Norse Gods, defeating Man-Mountain with his new finisher the "Thumbscrew". Massacre's partner, the Universal Champion Brute, didn't have such luck as he lost the title to Mesmer, in the first title change of what would be a hectic year for that title.
February: February in UCW can only mean one thing: The annual Slamasters event! This year featured a UCW Tri-Challenge for the Universal Tag Titles between the champion New Heroes, the Eastern Dynasty and the Gladiators, reunited after Brute's title loss. In addition, Mesmer would make his first defense of the Universal title against Iron Mane and a special "Chance at Glory" Battle Royal featuring many independent and freelance wrestlers as well as much of the UCW roster. The prize was one free title shot of the winner's choice at any event at any time. The Battle Royal was won by Man-Mountain (last eliminating Billy Jo Boxer) who immediatly declared that it would be the Norse Gods who will use a tag title shot at some point in the future. Mesmer's first title defense of his 3rd Universal title reign also proved to be his last, as Iron Mane pinned him after a Final Pounce for his first reign as champion. In the Tri-Challenge Main Event, The Gladiators dominated, quickly beating both the Eastern Dynasty and New Heroes in 2 straight falls to become the first team to win both the Galaxian and Universal Tag Team Championships!
Meanwhile, in the GWF, the first in a series of inter-generational hero battles took place as the FDF Legends team of Commander Sam & Star Warrior beat the Young Allies, while both the Greek Gods and Bounty Hunter successfully defended their Galaxian Titles.
March: The Greek Gods had barely squeaked by title defenses against the AniMen and the Cosmic Forces in controversial circumstances, and the GWF Championship Committee decided that a #1 contenders match between the two teams would take place. The winners would get a no DQ match against the crowd-hated Gods at the April Supercard. The Cosmic Forces won when Matter hit a Postive Charge on Badger and got the win. The main event Galaxian Title match between Bounty Hunter and Lord Nexus was ruined by a familiar face: Thantos! With his suspension running out, he stated his intent on recapturing "his" title by causing a double DQ and laying out both Bounty Hunter and Lord Nexus. Due to a loophole in GWF rules, (quickly closed after this event) Thantos could not be punished as he was not an "official" member of the GWF roster as he was suspended. This suited both Nexus and Bounty Hunter just fine as they insisted that they both wanted a piece of Thantos as soon as possible.
The pressures of running a wrestling organization that was quickly becoming the size of the GWF was starting to get to Reynard B. Guile. In addition to the self-professed "exile" Whiplash continuing to beat contracted UCW wrestlers (having beaten Bishop Hell at the March Supercard) and incident involving Mesmer, the Gladiators The Creeper and the New Heroes left a bad taste in the fans mouth. It all started innocently enough, as Mesmer wrestled, and defeated The Creeper in a surprisingly entertaining and competitive match. Gloating over the win, Mesmer stayed in the ring to celebrate as the Gladiators tag title defense against the New Heroes was the next scheduled match. The Gladiators, never ones to turn down a beating, started working over The Creeper until the New Heroes came down to even the odds. Mesmer, meanwhile, fled the ring when he saw the Heroes and severely sprained his ankle, while the Heroes and The Creeper started to come back against the Gladiators. It was then that Guile came down, blamed the heroes for the injury to Mesmer and suspended the New Heroes. When The Creeper started to protest (or at least that's what everyone THOUGHT it was doing) Guile fired him on the spot! Guile said the suspension of the Heroes started with immediate effect and had security escort them from the building. Thus the New Heroes had to forfeit their title match. The Norse Gods tried to take advantage by cashing in the shot they earned at the Slamasters, however the Gladiators repelled their challenge and retained in a hard fought match. The Universal Championship continued to be a hot potato as Spike regained the title with a Megadestroyer. Could he bring stability to the belt?

2091 Quarter 2 (April-June)
April: April was a big month for UCW, as new signing (and recent GWF trialist) Matador of M83 made his debut. His first task was against the rampaging Wolf, who was a bit too aggressive and disqualified. Whiplash's revival continued as he won a 6-man battle royal. Spike was unable to bring stability to the Universal Title, dropping it back to Iron Mane in a rematch. At the major GWF event of the month, Lord Nexus lost a revenge match to Thantos, and took is frustration out on him with a vicious attack after the match, severely injuring the former 7-time Galaxian champion. The younger generation won the second generational battle as the Young Allies upset the FDF Legends. In the main event No DQ Tag Title match, The Cosmic Forces defeated The Greek Gods to win the Galaxian Tag Team Championship.
May: The Greek Gods, used to getting immediate rematches for what they felt were "their" Galaxian Tag Team Champions, felt slighted that Prison Camp were given the first tag title shot at the Cosmic Forces. They took their anger out by brutalizing the Young Allies. The Cosmic Forces retained against the aforementioned Prison Camp, while Bounty Hunter retained the Galaxian Title against Comrade Terror.
Besides their usual supercard, UCW's big announcement was that the 3rd Annual Guile Cup would be held over 2 days in June this year! A record 14 teams had signed up, including (as a big surprise) former Galaxian tag team champions, and recent GWF departures Powerhouse! At the press conference to announce they challenged the Gladiators to a first round match. First for the Gladiators, however, was the small business of defending against the Norse Gods, a challenge they easily repelled. In the main event, Iron Mane lost by DQ to Lance At-Las, but retained his title.
June: The 3rd annual Guile Cup took place over 2 days, as the tournament gre to 14 teams, many feeling it was the strongest and deepest field ever. Conspicuous by their absence were the suspended New Heroes. The field was as follows:
1 The Gladiators (UCW, Universal Tag Champions) 2 Norse Gods (UCW) 3 Team Titan (UCW) 4 Royal Family: Mad Jester & Killer Queen (UCW) 5 Eastern Dynasty (UCW) 6 Iron Mane & Wolf (UCW) 7 Lance At-Las & Mutant (UCW) 8 Spike & Mesmer (UCW) 9 Matador & Bishop Hell (UCW) 10 Death Masque & Splatter (freelance) 11 Count Necros & Whiplash (freelance) 12 Justice & Renegade (freelance) 13 Powerhouse (freelance) 14 Awesome Studs - Vanity & Mr. Galaxy (freelane)
The first round was held on June 8th, the results: Matador & Bishop Hell over Awesome Studs Death Masque & Splatter over Eastern Dynasty Count Necros & Whiplash over Lance At-Las & Mutant Iron Mane & Wolf over Royal Family Team Titan over Norse Gods Spike & Mesmer over Justice & Renegade Powerhouse upset The Gladiators
With the tag champs out of the tournament on the first day, Guile gave them a title defense to "save face". Their opponents, the Royal Family were no match, Massacre pinning Mad Jester after a Gladiator Piledriver
In the Tournament Matches: Quarter-finals: Matador & Bishop Hell had a bye Spike & Mesmer beat Powerhouse Death Masque & Splatter beat Team Titan Wolf & Iron Mane beat Count Necros & Whiplash
Semi-Finals: Matador & Bishop Hell beat Spike & Mesmer Splatter & Death Masque beat Wolf & Iron Mane
Finals: Matador & Bishop Hell beat Splatter & Death Masque to win the tournament!
In GWF land, newcomer Mayhem had been blazing a path of destruction. He was, somewhat surprisingly, awarded a title match against 6-month champion Bounty Hunter. Shockingly, Mayhem beat Bounty Hunter to win the title! Also on the card, the AniMen regained the tag team titles for the fourth time, while former champs Greek Gods slid further down the rankings by losing to the FDF Legends.
Champions after June 2091: GWF: Galaxian Champion: Mayhem Galaxian Tag Champions: AniMen UCW: Universal Champion: Iron Mane Universal Tag Champions: The Gladiators Guile Cup 2091 Winners: Matador & Bishop Hell

2091 Quarter 3 (July-September)
July: This month tends to bring lots of changes, as wrestlers can opt out of their contracts should they so desire....this year Spike and Wolf both turned freelance and immediately took advantage by teaming with The Guardsman in a shocking win over the down-and-out Greek Gods at the GWF's supershow. The shocker here is that Spike actually defeated Wolf at the UCW show in their last (at the time) contracted match just a couple of weeks earlier! Also on the card was Justice's first match as a contracted wrestler: a win over Renegade. Also, Thantos and Krakan formed a team called the WarMongers and defeated their old rivals, the FDF Legends. All champions in both GWF and UCW successfully retained their titles.
August: UCW's major event on the 10th was full of surprises. A six-man elimination challenge was scheduled for a future title shot, and Massif was one of the scheduled participants. Guile, in another unpopular decision, suspended Massif during the opening match for, what seemed to outside observers, trying to keep the peace between Mutant and Mr. Galaxy after their match. He was shockingly replaced by the out-of-contract Wolf, who went on to win the match! However, the biggest shocker was in the Universal Tag Title Match, when the Eastern Dynasty regained the title against the dominant Gladiators in a huge upset. In the GWF, the new team of Spike & Guardsman won another match, this time against the FDF Legends, while Mayhem continued to defy the odds beating Comrade Terror to defend the Galaxian Title.
September: UCW's wild ride continues under the now-clearly panicked Reynald B. Guile. After the disaster of having an uncontracted Wolf become #1 contender, a deal was made: Wolf would get his title shot, but if he didn't win the title from Iron Mane, he would never set foot in UCW again! Before that main event, however, there was the small matter of the Gladiators' rematch with the Eastern Dynasty for Universal Tag Titles. Of course, EVERYONE knew that Khan & Mistuko's shocking win last month was simply a fluke, and that the Gladiators would be regaining the title. Except that...well, they didn't! Khan pinned Massacre after a Twin Thrust for a shocking 2nd straight win. Wolf ended up with far more success beating Iron Mane to win the title! So now UCW had an uncontracted singles champion, and a very surprising tag team champions headed into October...
Meanwhile, in the GWF Prison Camp won the Galaxian Tag Team Titles from the AniMen, while Mayhem kept his title by beating Bounty Hunter. Spike continued his winning streak by beating the ever-tough Ursa Major, in his first singles match.
After September 2091 GWF: Galaxian Champion: Mayhem Galaxian Tag Champions: Prison Camp UCW: Universal Champion: Wolf Universal Tag Champions: Eastern Dynasty

2091 Quarter 4 (October-December)
October: The insanity of Guile continued in UCW as after an Eastern Dynasty title defense against the New Heroes, Bishop Hell came down and attacked Pulsar Prime with Hellfire. Though they had long left the ring, Guile FIRED his Universal Tag Champions, while "only" suspending Bishop Hell. This throws the Universal Tag Titles into chaos! In the main event of the monthly supercard, his "Wolf problem" unexpectily cleared up as one half of the Guile Cup winners, Matador pinned Wolf to win the Universal Championship!
There was title upheaval in the GWF as well, as the AniMen regained the tag team championship from Prison Camp. THe main event was billed "The Battle for a New Generation" as Galaxian Champion Mayhem battled fellow newcomber Justice. Justice won the title after hitting the Shock Probation to win the Galaxian Title. The "Next Generation Battle" is now well and truely on!
November: With the Universal Tag Titles vacant, a 6-team single elimination tournament was hastily put together for the November Supercard. Team Titan defeated Powerhouse in the finals to win the tag tournament, thus keeping the Gladiators as the only team in history to win both the Galaxian and Universal Tag Team Championships.
November is the last supercard before the King of Galaxy in the GWF, and everyone was desperate to make a good impression to get selected for the "Biggest Night in The Galaxy". Both the AniMen and Justice made successful defenses of their respective titles against the WarMongers and Bounty Hunter. On the undercard, Spike stayed undefeated, easily beating The Serpent Unman.
December: An angry Spike was left out of the King Of Galaxy 2091 tournament, leaving a spot open for the returning (and now wildly popular) Exo-King. Results from the tournaments were as follows:
Tag Team Tournament: Quarterfinals: Prison Camp defeated Cosmic Forces WarMongers defeated Greek Gods
Semifinals: WarMongers def Prison Camp
Finals (also Galaxian Tag Title Match): WarMongers def AniMen by DQ to win tournament, but not titles
Singles Tournament: Quarterfinals: Exo-King defeated Lord Nexus Bounty Hunter defeated Mayhem
Semifinals: Exo-King def Bounty Hunter
Finals (also Galaxian Title Match): Justice defeated Exo-King despite a fantastic effort that even led the champion Justice to applaud his performance after the match
An announcement by Reynard B Guile that he would be turning over the day-to-day operations of UCW soon (citing personal reasons and exhaustion) put something of a damper on the final card of UCW's year. The main news was that Team Titan's newest reign as Universal Tag Champions came to a quick end as fellow Titan Pulsar Prime and his partner Galactic Punisher defeated them in a hard-fought (but clean) match. It is the New Heroes 2nd reign as tag team champions.
Champions after 2091: GWF: Galaxian Champion and King of Galaxy 2091: Justice Galaxian Tag Team Champions: AniMen King of Galaxy Tag Team 2091: WarMongers (Thantos & Krakan) UCW: Universal Champion: Matador of M83 Universal Tag Champions: New Heroes --------------------------------------
With this post, this ends the "pre-history" of my universe. I am going to start a new thread, with actual card-by-card full results going forward. I will end this thread with histories (from 2087-2091) of both UCW and GWF Titles and tournaments. Thanks for reading!
