GWFZ : In The Zone

After some heavy consideration I have decided to pull my GWFZ fed out of the CWA and post on the main board going forth.

This frees me up to us whatever cards I want from the feds and create unique story lines for fellow promoters to read.

The action up until now can be read inside the CWA sub board.

I really enjoyed my time with the CWA, but things have all but died at this point, and I was the only one posting regularly. Thanks to everyone that got involved and to Eliath for keeping the wheel turning for so long. Without them my GWFZ fed would not be what it is today.

In The Zone #24


The usual In The Zone opening fails to start and Sly Drury appears on stage.

Commissioner Drury, "Welcome to the dawning of a new age in the GWFZ! Tonight you will not see a normal match card. I have acquired the rights to the aCe as well as the GWF and tonight we will begin the process of filling a new roster. Effective immediately every wrestlers contract is void and you will have to fight for the right to be a Superstar on this show. Now for the first order of business...allow me to introduce you to The Establishment. There have been some changes to the line-up."

Each man came out when announced.

"The GWFZ Galaxian Champion Alexander Ubel."

"The new Z-Division Champion...The Messenger with Miss Nikki."

"Flatliner and Holocaust...my personal body guards."

"and The GWFZ Galaxian Tag Team Champions...Magnifico and Pariah...The Galaxies Greatest."

"To maintain focus I have delegated team leadership to Justin Case who will manage the team."

Mot, "What a bombshell! No ones job is safe."

Kram, "Except The Establishment of course. Our first competitors are ready as we find out which of the first four men from the aCe will be the newest member of the GWFZ."


Exodus vs Darkseed
Exodus and Darkseed traded some heavy shots and Exodus almost scored a pin fall with a Flight Kick, but Darkseed fought back and turned the tide, allowing him to hit the BELLY OF THE BEAST to score the win.


Jakyll vs The Amazing Mann
It took some work, but Mann out wrestled the beast at every turn, and managed to lock in the UNBREAKABLE to gain the victory.


Darkseed vs Jakyll
Darkseed handled Jakyll with ease and scored the pin with the BELLY OF THE BEAST.


Exodus vs The Amazing Mann
Mann out wrestled Exodus at every turn and locked in UNBREAKABLE fully. Exodus had no way of escaping and was forced to tap.


Darkseed vs The Amazing Mann
Darkseed mauled Mann at the outset when Amazing Mann came out of nowhere with a flying cross armbar. Mann used his submission skills to wear down the demon and won with UNBREAKABLE to earn a GWFZ contract.[/color]


Mot, "Now we determine who from the GWFZ will join him."


Leviathan vs Motor Psycho
Motor Psycho took an enormous amount of punishment before Leviathan was finally able to lock in GHENNA'S GATE to score the win.


Harm vs Scar
Scar's inexperience showed as Harm took him apart and finished things off with HARM'S WAY.


Leviathan vs Scar
Scar tore into Leviathan and tried to take his head off with multiple Decapitators before going high risk. Scar came off the top, Leviathan rolled through the cross body, and locked in GHENNA'S GATE to score another victory.


Motor Psycho vs Harm
Motor Psycho made a good showing, but harm was able to get the upper hand and ended the match with HARM'S WAY.


Leviathan vs Harm
As Leviathan and Harm collided the referee got in the way and was injured. Harm hit the Drop Zone and went for the pin. Harm went to revive the referee and was rolled up from behind by Leviathan who scores a surprise victory.


Mot, "Leviathan has reestablished himself as a member of the GWFZ."

Kram, "Join us next time when four Indy wrestlers get a shot as well as the GWF's first round seed."

End of show.

GWF Seeds : The Betrayer, Gryt, Nitro, and Rush

Indy Seeds : Kill Prey, Valour, General Rankor, and Tekaro.


Notes : The orange section is the modified content. Somehow Godsend used his powers to take Amazing Mann's place. This has been fixed and all is well in the cosmos.

Mot & Kram, "Welcome To In...The...ZONE!"

Mot, "We have an exciting card for you tonight fans!"

Kram, "The 'job interviews' are under way and tonight we have four men from the GWF"

Mot, "and four men that have been on the independent circuit along with some new faces."

Kram, "Motor Psycho gets another shot as he takes on The Messenger tonight."

Mot, "Commissioner Drury has said that if Motor Psycho can capture the Z-Division Championship he gets a GWFZ contract."

Kram, "Lets go to the ring as our fist match is about to get underway."


The Betrayer vs Nitro
Nitro opened with a jumping kick that Betrayer sided stepped sending Nitro crashing to the mat. Betrayer locked in the Scorpion Death Lock, but Nitro managed to escape. Nitro regained control shortly and went high risk. Nitro missed the deathjump and crashed to the mat again. The Betrayer hit All Fall Down and went for the pin. Nitro kicks out. Betrayer hits BLACK BETRAYAL and Nitro failed to kick out giving Betrayer the win.


Gryt vs Rush
Rush dominated the action and went for THE TEMPEST. Rush moved at the last second and locked Rush in the STRONGMAN'S STRETCH. Rush escaped the hold and regained his feet. A savage exchange between the two men saw an ADRENALINE RUSH by Rush and another STRONGMAN'S STRETCH by Gryt. Gryt tried to lock in a third STRONGMAN'S STRETCH, Rush slipped free, and hit ADRENALINE RUSH while Gryt was prone and scored a forfeit victory as he pounded Gryt's face into hamburger. Security entered followed closely by medics to put an end to the situation.

Mot, "Vallah! That young man is a psychopath."

Kram, "That psychopath is an Aethran and could be the next GWFZ Superstar. So keep your mouth shut."

Mot, "I have been informed that The Betrayer and Nitro receive a forfeit victory over Gryt as he is unable to continue."

The Holo-Tron flashes the current standings.

The Betrayer 2
Nitro 1 - 1
Rush 1

Mot, "If Rush wins then we will have a match between him and The Betrayer for the GWFZ contract."

Kram, "But if Nitro wins we have a the potential for a three way tie."

Mot, "Assuming Rush beats The Betrayer."


Rush vs Nitro
Rush blew right through Nitro! A stiff uppercut, a Sky Bomb Stunner, THE TEMPEST... over.

Mot, "Dominate performance by the Aethran native."

Kram, "Hes not finished Mot!"

Rush looks down at Nitro before picking him up for the Gladiator Piledriver. Rush slips on the clawed hand guards from his Aethran armor and delivered ADRENALINE RUSH on Nitro. Once again Security and the medics were needed for Rush's match.


The Betrayer vs Rush
The Betrayer stepped between the ropes apprehensively and paid as Rush caught him coming in with spinning heel kick. Another dominate performance by Rush as he hit an Aethran Arrow, the Gladiator Piledriver, and a springboard Decapitator to score the win over The Betrayer.

Mot, "Rush has just become the newest superstar of the GWFZ!"

Rush looked down at The Betrayer and moved toward him.

Mot, "Not Again! Someone needs to do something!"

As if to answer Mot's cries, Commissioner Drury appeared on stage with Flatliner and Holocaust.

Drury, "Rush. You are now under contract to the GWFZ. I suggest you take leave of the ring because if you attack The Betrayer as you have Gryt and Nitro I will fire you right now."

Rush looks down at Betrayer, "You got lucky punk!"

As if to prove a point to Drury though, Rush hit a Decapitator on Betrayer before flipping off the Commissioner.


General Rankor vs Kill Prey
The slower Rankor stood no chance against the agile hunter and Kill Prey picked him apart while setting up for perfect AMBUSH.

Kram, "Kill Prey is a surgeon in the ring. He ate Rankor alive."


Valour vs Tekaro
Valour and Tekaro launched themselves at it was a fight right from the beginning. Both men traded savage blows and Tekaro blasted Valour with his shield at one point in the attempt to win the fight. The action spilled to the outside. Valour and Tekaro were in danger of getting counted out. Valour grabbed Tekaro's spear and broke it over his head after a VIOLENT OUTBURST before rolling back into the ring. The referee called for the bell and declared Tekaro the winner by disqualification. Valour exploded and the referee fled for his life.


General Rankor vs Tekaro
Tekaro's savage nature was his undoing as he was disqualified for using his shield in the match.


Kill Prey vs Valour
Valour charged across the ring and launched Kill Prey across the ring with an airplane spin drop before hitting WARRIOR'S RAGE to put his friend away quickly.


Rankor vs Valour
Rankor landed some stiff shots to start and Valour mounted a short offensive run, but Rankor suckered Valour into a missed turnbuckle splash and hit GUILTY OF TREASON(Clothesline From Hell) and scored yet another win and locking down the GWFZ contract.

Mot, "Rankor sweeps the series to win the GWFZ contract."

General Rankor storms over, "That's General Rankor worm! Alexander I'm coming for your title belt. Watch your back!"

Kram, "Well an issue to our Galaxian Champion has been issued. How will Alexander respond?"

Mot, "Our Main Event is next."


The Messenger vs Motor Psycho
Motor Psycho punished The Messenger when Miss Nikki popped up onto the apron and got his attention. While Motor Psycho was distracted by Nikki, The Messenger recovered and caught Motor Psycho with the Conveyor DDT and finished him with THE MESSAGE to retain the title.

As The Messenger and Miss Nikki headed to the back the camera went to the action in the back. Alexander catches General Rankor coming into the dressing room with a Super Kick that puts him on the floor. Alexander stands over the Ravager.

Alexander, "I accept lizardman. Provided of course you can go through your own creations. Next week its going to be General Rankor taking on the Shock Syndicate in a handi-cap match."

Alexander pauses, "Now That's Ratings!"

The show ends with the Galaxian Champion stepping past Rankor.

In The Zone #26


The show opens with clips showing General Rankor's challenge and the champion's response. Mot & Kram welcome us to the show and the action gets started.

Sledgend vs Morbid
This one was a hardcore battle and saw both men bloody by its end. Sledgend was in control and uncharacteristically went up top. Sledgend misses and crashes to the mat where Morbid jumps on him and applies MORBIDLY CRUEL to score the win.


Tusk vs Professor Sudden
In a flash Sudden was across the ring and caught the mammoth Ani-Man with SUDDEN IMPACT. Sudden scores the victory.

Mot, "Professor Sudden with a one move knockout hitting that deadly charged up knee."

Kram, "I still think its unfair he can use powers like that in the ring."

Mot stares at Kram for several seconds and sighs, "Anyway lets get back to the action."


Tusk vs Morbid
Morbid made the mistake of trying to out power Tusk. Tusk tried to shatter Morbid's skull with a massive vise grip. Tusk hits the BONECRUSHER and Morbid manages to escape, but not a second time as Tusk goes up a second time.


Professor Sudden vs Sledgend
Sudden failed to connect fully with Sudden Impact and fought for his life as a enraged Sledgend delivered some shots before tossing him from the ring. Sledgend followed him out and hit SHATTERING DEVASTATION through the announce table and scores a count out victory.


Professor Sudden vs Morbid
Sudden caught Morbid with Sudden Impact which dropped Morbid. Sudden crouched in the corner and waited for Morbid to rise and hit SUDDEN IMPACT (snake eyes) solidly for the win. Morbid was out cold.


Tusk vs Sledgend
Tusk edged Sledgend out in the power category and still had to beat Sledgend into near unconsciousness (racked up 7 tokens) to score the win with a Hanging Trunk Slam.


Tusk vs Professor Sudden
SUDDEN IMPACT...Over!

Mot, "Sudden takes the Ani-Man down a second time with one shot."

Kram, "That makes Professor Sudden the newest member of the GWFZ."


American Guy vs Ensor
Ensor was too fast for Guy and it was only a matter of time before Ensor caught him with the THARSIS ERUPTION and scored the pin fall.


Vidtek vs Anivar
Vidtek and Anivar traded momentum up until Vidtek hits Anivar with a low blow followed by a big boot. Vidtek hit some power moves before putting Anivar away with BIG TIME.


American Guy vs Vidtek
The referee got in the middle of an exchange but recovers almost immediately. While the referee was warning Guy, Vidtek blindsided him and hit BIG TIME for the win.


Ensor vs Anivar
Anivar and Ensor locked up and Anivar whips Ensor into the turnbuckle and follows him in. Ensor uses his amazing agility to leap out of the way sending Anivar crashing into the post. Ensor tried a roll up and Anivar powered out. Ensor tried for another pin after a FDF Defender Drop and once again Anivar kicks out. Ensor gets in position and waits for Anivar to rise and hits the THARSIS ERUPTION for the win.


Ensor vs Vidtek
Vidtek couldn't fight against the rapid fire offense of Ensor and was put out of action after Ensor hits a 450 Splash (snake eyes) injuring his back in the process. Ensor re-joins the GWFZ roster.

Mot, "Up next General Rankor takes on his own Frankenstein monsters as he faces Flatliner and Holocaust in a handi-cap match."

Kram, "This is a lesson for those that disrupt things around here. The Establishment will restore order."


Shock Syndicate vs General Rankor
Flatliner and Rankor started out, but Flatliner tagged out quickly to holocaust who hits Rankor with Shock Trauma before tagging in Flatliner for Shock to the System which they held for a while despite the referee's warning. Rankor makes a comeback after a miss communication that resulted in Flatliner getting hit by a clothesline from Holocaust.

While this was going on Alexander led The Galaxies Greatest and The Messenger down and they surrounded the ring.

Mot, "Things are about to get real bad for Rankor."

General Rankor hits GUILTY OF TREASON on Holocaust, but gets yanked off the pin by Alexander. The two begin to brawl, Pariah distracts the referee as Magnifico connects with a Magnificent Super Kick sending him crashing into The Messenger who hits THE MESSAGE. Alexander tosses him back into the ring and Holocaust crawls on top for the pin.

Alexander steps into the ring and orders Rankor picked up where hit hits ORIGINAL SIN before posing with The Establishment in the ring to bring the show to a close.

awesome last couple of cards. really liking the mix of everyone in there. Especially liking mixing of Rankor, Tekaro and Alexander in there. They really add some good core and depth to the roster!
