In The Zone's pyro and opening theme kicks off the show.

Mot & Kram, "Welcome to IN...THE...ZONE!"

Mot, "Tonight we have a jammed packed card for you."

Kram, "So we are going to get right to the action."

Mot, "First up is Umagapotamus versus Homage."

Tribal drums herald the entrance of the Samoan Hippo.

A Gothic theme begins to play through the arena and Homage comes out on stage, drops to his knees and lays back his head and arms, before rising and heading to the ring.


Homage vs Umagapotamus
Homage was faring well against Umagapotamus, dominating the opening moments of the match.

Mot, "Looks like Homage is in top form, he is dominating Umagapotamus."

That is until he was caught by an Andromeda Drop.

Kram, "Don't speak to soon, his ribs seem a little worse for wear after that move."

Umagapotamus continued the brutal assault with a Running Hippo Bomb and a Super Samoan Drop before hitting the first SAMOAN HIPPO SPIKE.

Kram, "ITS OVER!"

Homage kicked out of the first one and was hit with a second one.

Mot, "Homage beat the count after two devastating Spikes!"

Homage escaped once again and managed to regain his feet. A kick to the face followed by a bone-jarring crescent kick to keep Homage down.

Kram, "That was all he could take. Two final kicks to the face finished Homage off."

Mot, "Up next is the return of The Headliners."

Kram, "Whoopty Dooo. Darth Brooks and Grillz are scrubs and can't hold a candle to The Undergrads."

The Headliners new music hits and it is a mix of hip hop & country. The crowd gives a mixed reaction to the return of the two superstars showing a divide between fans of The Headliners and fans of The Undergrads. The Headliners step into the ring with Bearly Legal who are already in the ring.

The Headliners vs Bearly Legal

Mot, "Darth Brooks starts things off against Dark Star Creature."

Kram yawns, "Am I really sitting here watching a washed up country singer take on an ape from the stars."

Mot, "Yes you are now pay attention."

Kram, "It really wasn't a question you idiot."

Mot, "Brooks attempts to overpower Dark Star Creature and receives a knee to the back for his troubles."

Kram, "Corner Cage by Creature and Darth Brooks stumbles. Dark Star Creature goes for a brainbuster and Darth Brooks counters."

Mot, "The Headliners hit Friends in Low Places and follows with OK!"

Kram, "One...two..three and its over."

Mot, "The Headliners made that look easy."

Kram, "It didn't help that Cuddley Claw was asleep on the apron and in no condition to help his partner."

Mot, "Up next Assassin Z takes on Strong in a rematch in a No Disqualification Match."

Kram, "Strong better hope that Z doesn't decide to impale him with that blade like he did Xymbiote."

Assassin Z vs Strong
Strong dominated the lighter Z and put him away quickly with STRONG.
Rating : 1.5 Stars

Kram, "Well that was a letdown. Assassin Z let Strong walk right over the top of him and the match never left the ring."

Mot, "Not the most exciting of matches. Fans expect more from a No DQ Match."

The Undergrads make their grand entrance and posed for the crowd.

Morbid Revelations came out to their new music and with the GWFZ titles in hand. Both men stepped into the ring and went nose to nose with Pariah and Magnifico.

Revelation vs Pariah
The referee ordered Morbid and Magnifico from the ring. Magnifico started through the ropes and the referee guided Morbid out. While he was distracted, The Undergrads took advantage of the opportunity and dropped him on his head with the DEAD MAN'S CURVE. Magnifico rolled quickly from the ring as the referee called for the bell. Pariah lifted Revelation up and hit ANARCHY IN THE GWFZ before going for the pin. Morbid could only watch as Pariah casually covered the unconscious Revelation and scored the pin fall, one upping the tag champions in dirty finishes.

Mot, "Pariah stole this match."

Kram, "The Undergrads only re-payed Revelation for the shot he gave Pariah at the PPV which cost them the GWFZ Titles."

Mot, "Things are going to get ugly between these two teams."

Kram, "Up next is the Holo-Vision title match."

Mot, "Grash was stripped of the belt by not adhering to the rules and now gets a chance to regain the title from the new champion Stryker."

Stryker marches to the ring with a new entrance theme and climbs to the top turnbuckle and hoists the belt up for everyone to see.

Grash comes to the ring to a heavy metal theme, but doesn't pause to notice the fans, though he points at Stryker with his crowbar as he steps between the ropes.

Stryker vs Grash
Grash wasted no time in reclaiming the Holo-Vision Championship. He caught Stryker with an Iron Elbow Strike that dropped the champion and then scored the victory with the TENDERIZER in dominate fashion.

Mot, "My God! He dropped the champion like a rock."

Kram, "You mean former champ. Grash may hold onto the Holo-Vision Championship for quite some time."

Mot, "We have reached the Main Event. Round One of The Pyramid Challenge begins now!"

Salvage vs Doctor Payne
Salvage put Payne on the mat quickly and hit ROAD TO REDEMPTION only to have Doctor Payne kick out. Salvage followed with Destiny Rising and Payne rolled to the outside where Elizabeth handed him a vial to drink. Reinvigorated, Payne rolled into the ring and hit Salvage with a Shining Wizard before going on a long string of offense, applying the KO TEMPLE CLAW on two separate occasions, and going for several pin attempts. Salvage managed to regain his feet and hit a second ROAD TO REDEMPTION to put Doctor Payne down for the count.

Mot, "Salvage managed to weather the storm and come out on top."

Kram, "He may have won the battle with Doctor Payne, but he is in bad shape for the war to come."

Mot, "You may be right partner. In these types of matches, you really need to win quickly."

Salvage vs Hegemony
The winded Salvage was taken down quickly by Hegemony, who hit MAINSTREAM and locked in HEGEMONIC BORDERS to end the match in quick fashion.

Mot, "Well the damage is starting to show as Hegemony had no trouble in taking Salvage down easily."

Kram, "Yeah and he has 'The Gatekeeper' to go yet."

Salvage stood in the ring sucking wind and trying to recover as Leviathan headed to the ring.

Salvage vs Leviathan
Salvage at least tried to put up a fight against Leviathan, but it was short lived as 'The Gatekeeper' leveled him after a knee to the temple and finished him off with LD50.

Mot, "Well Salvage faired poorly so far in the challenge."

Kram, "Which gives Salvage a chance to rest since he will face Doctor Payne last."

Doctor Payne vs Hegemony
Doctor Payne and Hegemony traded blows before Hegemony gained the momentum and scored the victory with HEGEMONIC BOARDERS.

Doctor Payne vs Leviathan
Doctor Payne whipped Leviathan into the turnbuckle to start the match off and charged right into the raised knees of The Gatekeeper. Leviathan locked in GEHENNA'S GATE on the rocked Doctor Payne and gave him his second loss of the Gauntlet.

Mot, "Thats two down and Doctor Payne has yet to score a win."

Kram, "He lost to Salvage once already."

Mot, "Both men have taken some punishment so they should be on equal ground again."

Doctor Payne vs Salvage
Doctor Payne and Salvage traded offense, but it was Payne who came out on top and scored his second victory over Salvage with the KO TEMPLE CLAW.

Mot, "Well he did manage to avenge his earlier loss to Salvage, but with Leviathan and Hegemony tied for first he may be out of the running."

Hegemony vs Doctor Payne
Doctor Payne hands Hegemony his first loss of the night with the KO TEMPLE CLAW. Hegemony was just unable to get anything going, every-time he gained the offense, Doctor Payne went right back on again.

Hegemony vs Salvage
The two men engaged in an all out brawl! Salvage hit move after move only to have Hegemony come back and use his technical skills to keep Salvage on the mat. The outcast Aethran powered to his feet and hit Hegemony with ROAD TO REDEMPTION for the pin fall.
Rating : 4.5 Stars

Hegemony exploded when Salvage was announced the winner and attacked him, locking in HEGEMONIC BOARDERS and refusing to release the hold. While the referee tried to pry Hegemony off, Leviathan quietly slipped into the ring.

Leviathan yanked the unaware Hegemony off Salvage with a show of strength and hit the Spawn of Hell to start the match. Leviathan followed with back to back Serpent Spinebusters before locking in GEHENNA'S GATE for the pin fall.

Mot, "Leviathan's run is next."

Leviathan vs Hegemony
Hegemony never got to leave the ring and Leviathan launched his attack as soon as Hegemony regained his feet. Hegemony ducked the right hook and locked Leviathan in a rear naked choke before transitioning into HEGEMONIC BOARDERS to score the victory to the shock of the fans, giving Leviathan his first loss of the night in lightning fashion. Hegemony once again refused to let go of the hold, but Leviathan slipped free and locked Hegemony in GEHENNA'S GATE until he passed out. Leviathan rolled the limp body to the floor and awaited Doctor Payne.

Leviathan vs Doctor Payne
Doctor Payne gained the offense and went to whip Leviathan into the turnbuckle, but Leviathan reversed the move and followed Payne in with a devastating clothesline and immediately locked in GEHENNA'S GATE for the victory.

Leviathan vs Salvage
The injured Salvage showed real heart to come down to the ring and face Leviathan, but it was not the best of ideas as Leviathan crushed him into the mat before locking in GEHENNA'S GATE. Leviathan wrenched back hard and Salvage let out a primal scream as something in his neck gave and he suffered further injury.

Kram, "Yeah and Salvage was a fool for coming out for the last match. Now he will be gone for two months with a neck injury."

Mot, "We have received the names of the next three competitors in The Pyramid Challenge. First up is Narcotik."

Kram, "The Holo-Vision Champion Grash."

Mot, "And The Surgeon."

Kram, "Which leaves Harm, The Main Event, and a yet to be named final competitor."

Mot, "I would assume it will be Strong after his win tonight over Assassin Z, but Commissioner Drury has yet to make a call."

Kram, "Well thats all we have for you tonight, join us next week on..."

Mot & Kram, "IN...THE...ZONE!"




*I tried something new with the first couple of matches. I'm not really sure how much I like doing total play by play for a match, but you can let me know what you think. I'm going to try and add a little extra to the cards.*

Really enjoyed the new format! Excellent results & definately a different way to present them.

Loved the Pyramid Challenge Gauntlet...no surprise that Leviathan won it though. Really good matches in there.

No surprise that Grash took the title from Stryker. When I was playing him in the Booking Challenge I really noticed what a chump his card is. Not really good at all. Kind of sad too, because I really like the character idea.

All around, a great card with a lot of great action!!

Can't wait for next time!!!

Great card, my friend. The pyramid challenge was great, and cool to see Leviathan with a nice record from it. I agree, play by play for each match gets rough. I've tried it before and can't keep it up. Can't wait to see next week's action and another pyramid. Keep up the good work. (shameless plug: new FUSION posted /shamelss plug)

I really liked the play-by-play. I know that it would be difficult to do an entire write up with the play-by-play, but I would encourage you to keep it up with at least one match a card. It was a very enjoyable way to read the results.

The gauntlet was VERY COOL! Like a combination gauntlet/iron man tourney. Don't laugh, but I found myself rooting for Hegemony. He did a lot better than I thought he would. Can't wait for the next round of the Pyramid Challenge.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the Play-By-Play and I do intend to continue, most likely for main events.

Actually cakejedi, I went into the Pyramid Challenge hoping Hegemony would pull it off. I really like the character and he should be one of those types that steps up and makes an impact soon.

Things may get real interesting if Leviathan wins the Challenge and goes on to capture the GWFZ Championship.

Clips of The Divine Gathering's explosive arrival in the POW open the show. Monolith crushes the Open Weight & Super Heavy Weight Champion and claims the belts. Flashes of the fist fight that The Messenger & Shylock had ending with The Messenger holding Shylock's arm up in victory.

Mot & Kram, "Welcome to IN...The...Zone!"

The action gets started as Harm and Torn are already in the ring.

Torn vs Harm
Harm beat Torn down. Everytime the young man would rise, Harm dropped him again. Harm locked in HARM'S WAY to score a quick one.

Before Harm could release the hold two men jumped the barricade and beat Harm down. The two men toped things off with dual Sky Twister Presses from the top ropes. The attackers retreated back into the crowd as GWF Security hit the ring.

Mot, "Who the hell were those men?"

Kram, "How should I know, but apparently they know Harm."

Overtime vs Duplos
Overtime used several signature moves such as Master Blaster and the Overtime Kick to set Duplos up for THE CLINCHER. Duplos was hit with such force he rolled from the ring. Overtime went to follow and dragged Duplos into the ring. Suddenly a 'surprisingly fresh' Duplos slaps Overtime in BLACKOUT for the surprise win.

Overtime exploded and began arguing with the referee. Behind the referee's back Gemin re-merged with Gemello. Overtime went ballistic when he saw Duplos and grabs a mic.

Overtime, "That how you want to play it boy! I am an All-Galaxy Athlete and don't need tricks to win my matches. We're going to be close to home next week and I'm going to even up the odds."

The Undergrads make their entrance and roll into the ring and pose for the crowd.

Morbid Revelations stepped from behind the curtain and marched toward the ring with deadly purpose. Taking off the GWFZ Tag titles as the approach the ring.

All four men go nose to nose and a brawl erupted between the men before the match could start. GWFZ Security swarmed the ring and order was quickly restored. Revelation and Pariah were banned from the ring leaving this a true one on one contest.

Magnifico vs Morbid
Both men traded blows before Magnifico caught Morbid right on the chin with the Magnificent Super Kick as he was attempting a jaw breaker. Magnifico went for the pin and Morbid quickly kicked out. Magnifico went hit Morbid with the Tyrant Thrust and goes for a second pin attempt. Morbid kicks out at two. Magnifico goes high risk and pays as Morbid rolls through a cross body. Magnifico managed to kick out and Morbid continued the assault. Morbid delivers a knock out blow with a flying knee to the head before locking Magnifico in MORBIDLY CRUEL. The referee called for the bell as Magnifico was already out.

Homage vs Xiongmao
Xiongmao crushed Homage under his weight and even though Homage was able to mount a small offense he never put anything together as was literally destroyed by several Japanda Splashes (6 times in a row) before being put in the GIANT PAW CLAW. With nothing left in the tank Homage gave in to the pain and submitted.

Homage slumped in the turnbuckle and The Legacy's music hit and he made his way into the ring.

The Legacy, "You fail Homage because you have lost your way. You have been weakened because you abandoned your sacred oath. Kneel before me Guardian and full-fill your duties."

Homage hesitates.

The Legacy yells, "I SAID KNEEL!"

Homage stands for a few seconds more before falling to his knees in front of The Legacy and laying his head back with arms splayed out. The Legacy uses the ropes for a little rebound and boots Homage in the face.

The Legacy stand over the fallen Homage, "Don't you ever forget your place again Guardian."

The Legacy turns to leave and Homage rises and follows him out.

Kram, "Homage finally got put in his place."

Mot, "That was totally out of character for The Legacy. I'm starting to believe maybe The Messenger was right."

Kram, "Finally! Mot has gotten The Message."

Mot, "Shut up."

Doctor Payne was the first man out and while he was waiting on Ensor to enter, the two men who attacked Harm earlier in the evening, jumped in and put Payne on the mat with some high risk offense. The two men jumped to the top rope and hit the Dual Sky Twister Press before exiting the ring. Medics rushed in and Doctor Payne was carried away on a stretcher.

Ensor made his entrance and stood in the ring, "I came here tonight to defend the belt with honor and integrity. I intend to do that despite the unfortunate events that have transpired. Anyone that wants a shot at the Z-Division Championship, Let Us Do Battle!"

Pyro exploded and Overtime's theme music hit and the Titan came out.

Overtime, "Its time for round two boy. I'm pissed off right now and it ain't going to be like last time. I'm about to become the Z-Division Champion."

Ensor vs Overtime
Overtime dominated the match, laying a brutal beating on Ensor. In and incredible comeback, Ensor was able to not only climb back to his feet, but took over on offense and hit the THARSIS ERUPTION after an dazzling 450 Splash to put Overtime away and retain the Z-Division Championship.

Overtime stared at Ensor for a long time, and to the shock of the fans, Overtime actually offered his hand to Ensor. The Z-Division Champion considered it for a moment. Ensor shook hands with Overtime and the Titan raised Ensor's arm in victory before exiting the ring.

The Pyramid Challenge Round Two
(Four Man Championship Scramble - Holo-Vision on the line)
Leviathan vs Grash vs Narcotik vs The Surgeon
Leviathan and Surgeon started thing out and it wasn't long before Leviathan scored a submission victory with GEHENNA'S GATE down by the announce tables. Leviathan is the interim champion. Surgeon mounted a comeback but was quickly put down again, this time with the LD50. Leviathan left the partially paralyzed Surgeon on the floor and rolled in to meet Grash. Grash took a swing with his crowbar but missed and the weapon was lost in the struggle. Grash and Leviathan battled it out in the center of the ring being the crowd to their feet and neither man would give an inch and fought for the entire time period as Narcotik made his way out and over to The Surgeon. Narcotik bends down and trash talks Surgeon before slapping him. He proceeds to deliver back to back running enziguris before hitting an Overdose Drop and finishing Surgeon off with THE NEEDLE AND THE SPOON to become the new interim champion. Back inside the ring Grash and Leviathan still battled. Leviathan gained the momentum and hit the Near Death Experience before tossing Grash from the ring. Leviathan followed him out and got posted for his trouble. Narcotik attacked Grash from behind with a steel chair before climbing to the top rope and delivering THE NEEDLE AND THE SPOON from the top to the ringside floor, crushing Grash under the impact. The Surgeon tried to make it to the downed Leviathan for a pin attempt, but was stopped by the two mystery men, who have targeted all three members of Malpractice. Narcotik was declared the winner of the match and declared the new Holo-Vision Champion as well as the Pyramid Challenge winner.

Narcotik grabs the belt off the table and stumbles up the ramp followed by the two men. Narcotik reaches the top of the ramp and hoists the title high with a huge smile on his face to end the show.

I REALLY liked The Legacy on this card! Nice job of building up The Legacy vs. Messenger feud by hinting at the fact that The Messenger might be right! I can't wait to see where you take this.

I also really liked your write up of the Duplos match. Nice job of describing the duplicate!

And since I am a big fan of Scramble matches, and card with one id FUN! I was surprised by Narcotik's win.

The winner of the triple threat match moves on to the finals. Sly Drury has guaranteed to have someone to fill in for the empty slot.

Overtime & RBI vs Duplos
Overtime has turned to his friend and former Gravity Ball Teammate to face the 'twins' Gemin & Gemello.

The Undergrads vs Morbid Revelations (non title)
Both teams have scored a win over the other in the singles ranks. The Undergrads are looking to take the win tonight to face Morbid and Revelation for the GWFZ Tag Championships at the next PPV.

Ensor has taken on some tough challengers since becoming the Z-Division Champion and now he is opening the field to anyone that wants to face him for the title.

Narcotik's two new comrades that wrecked havoc last week debut in a match against two of the men they attacked.

Homage submitted to The Legacy last week and returned to his side, but it remains to be seen if the two can work together when they face The Headliners.
