GWF Superstars # 24
11.26.2087 from Deimos
- The End of Evil -
The show started with Star Warrior and the FDF in the ring. Warrior grabbed a mic and addressed the crowd.
"Thantos, so far you've made good on your promises. You helped the Gladiators win the GWF Tag Team titles... you brought the sadistic evil of Bishop Hell to the GWF, but New Year's Evil will be the end of your reign of terror. These fans saw me sign a contract to face you on December 31st, and I swear by all that is good in this Galaxy that you will not carry the GWF title into 2088!"
The fans exploded into cheers at Warriors remarks.
"Now I know me and Wolf don't usually see eye to eye, but I've asked him for a small favor, and he was very happy to accept it just for the challenge. New Year's Evil.. your Bishop will face the Savage Wolf!!"(Cheers again)
Renegade vs. The Creeper
Renegade defeated The Creeper with a SPINECRACKER at 2:11
Match Rating: 0.10
Match Notes: Renegade was more amped up than usual, and squashed Creeper making the oddity submit to the SPINECRACKER.
After the match Vanity started to hit the Creeper, and scream at him for not even having a decent showing.
- IP Championship Round 1 -
Beast-Rider vs. Commander Sam
Commander Sam defeated Beast-Rider with a SAM'S ATOMIC DROP at 5:55
Match Rating: 2.25
Match Notes: Sam came down to the ring with same young military man who seemed to be scouting the Henchmen. Just with the way he was carrying himself it was obvious that Sam's neck was still bothering him immensely.
Rider was shown no mercy from the old war hero who seemed to understand that the sooner he got it over with the less damage his neck would have to take.
After Sam's win the Commander helped Rider to his feet, and shook his hand while introducing Rider to his new friend. Is this Sam's protege, a military friend, or some kind of bodygaurd?
Lord Nexus and Pulsar vs. Ghengis Khan and Mutant
Pulsar defeated Mutant with a DQ at 9:54
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: After facing off with each other 2 weeks before in the IP tournament Nexus and Pulsar team up to take on the Society of Death. The match goes back and forth when Pulsar uses the WHIRLWIND on Mutant. It looks to be the end when a masked man storms the ring hitting Pulsar first, then Nexus upside the head with a brutal looking club causing the DQ. Security tries to take down the masked man, but he is able to escape.
Killer Queen vs. Wolf
Wolf defeated Killer Queen with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 11:04
Match Rating: 3.75
Match Notes: Wolf returns from his injuries suffered at the hands of the Gladiators of Aethra, but still doesn't seem to be at 100% which allows Queen to come so close to victory via CHECKMATE. Wolf is able to fight back, and latch on the SAVAGE FACE CLAW for the win.
"Hell!! You may be evil and scare a few folks around here, but not me!! Light me on fire I don't care! Ask the Gladiators.. NO ONE can hurt me bad enough to keep me from coming back again and again!! Owooooooooooo!!!!"
- IP Rematch! -
Rahl came out to announce that there would not be a bye in the IP Tournament. Instead Krakan and Massif would fight again in 2 weeks in a no DQ, no time limit match.
"But seeing as I'm giving them a second chance the winner will have a second match that night versus the winner of Comrade Terror and Pit Viper's match tonight!"
Seems a fair deal for a second chance, but what kind of shape will either be in for their second fight after tearing into each other with no rules?
- IP Championship Round 1 -
Comrade Terror vs. Pit Viper
Comrade Terror defeated Pit Viper with a Flying Skullcrusher at 12:47
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Viper and Terror have one hell of a match with the momentum swinging back and forth. Both men hit big moves, but a Flying Skullcrusher from Terror ended it.
Who will face Terror next Superstars?
- GWF Tag Team Championship Non-Title -
Gladiators of Aethra vs. Animal Pack
Incredible Badger defeated Massacre with a BURROW BLAST at 15:38
Match Rating: 4.25
Match Notes: GWF Tag Champions the Gladiators extend an open invitation to a non-title match, and out comes Animal Pack!!
The fight is truly awesome!! Both teams were on the top of their game, and the ending was shocking as Battering Ram interfered after Badger was hit with a MASSACRE SLAM. The agile Animan was able to recover, and hit his BURROW BLAST out of nowhere for the pin!!
The Glads were fuming after the match, and Brute grabbed a mic:
"Pure ******* luck!! Tell you little squirrels what.. at New Year's we'll give you a shot at these belts and show you who the dominant race truly is!!"
