Great card! I liked Monolith acting like a "fighting Champion" by facing Plethador Sounds like you had a classic Torture Chamber match between Wolf and Nosfera!!!!!!!! Surprised to see Swarm beat Iron Hand. I am looking forward to his rematch with Monolith! I can't wait to see more of your take on Kill Prey and Valour. I like their attitude and Valour's beat down of Vidtek! And your promo in the circus tent: WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job of writing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BREAKING NEWS . . . The Animen have split! Swarm decides to go it alone after discovering She Devil in The Main Event's locker room and Malkuth hangs up the tights leaving Panther Warrior to fend for himself. Also Torn was seen with Lorelei as they met with Switchblade. What could this mean for the future of the GWF?

If you ask me, Panther Warrior is better off without Malkuth aka "The Wimpy Lord of the Jungle." Panther Warrior will be a major singles star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[glow=blue,5,400]GWF Presents : Survival Instincts[/glow] Disaster/Vidtek/Valour/Nosfera vs Anivar/The Bomb/Nitro/Panther Warrior Disaster's team started things off badly as Valour and Nosfera began brawling the minute the were in the same ring together, while the two men fought Disaster stepped into the ring and faced off with Nitro. Nitro started out strong against the Aethran and caught him with BAD VIBRATIONS, but Disaster threw him off and tagged in Anivar. Anivar delivered some solid shots but got hit out of no where with the RAMPAGE. Anivar was saved by Nitro but fell victim to a second RAMPAGE eliminating The Enforcer. Panther Warrior jumped from the top rope to go on the offensive. Panther Warrior hit Disaster with two spinning hook kicks which forced the big man back. Vidtek took the opportunity to tag himself in but, Panther Warrior maintained the offensive, up until in a shocking turn of events, The Bomb grabbed him around the throat and choke slammed him allowing Vidtek to score the pin, eliminating the lone Animan. On the outside Valour got the better of Nosfera and hit him with a VIOLENT OUTBURST leaving the demon laying. The Bomb stepped in but before he could do anything, Nitro slapped him on the back and attacked Vidtek putting him away with his high energy BAD VIBRATIONS. Disaster made no attempt to save him but nearly took Nitro's head off with a Decapitator eliminating him leaving only The Bomb. The Bomb lasted no time at all as Disaster put him down with the RAMPAGE giving his team the win. Disaster, Valour, & Nosfera move on. The Main Event/Torn/Gryt/Tanck vs Encubus/Zygon/Muss/Kill Prey The Main Event steps into the ring and tells his team, "I got this boys. Watch a real athlete at work." The Main Event started things off against Muss. The Main Event beat Muss until he was forced to tag out. Encubus stepped into the ring and was hit by a clothesline. After two hard Most Valuable Piledrivers, Encubus was softened up for the SIGN ON THE LINE putting away one half of DWF. Tanck and Gryt were screaming at Event for a tag but he glanced in their direction with disdain. This cost him as Kill Prey charged in and hit a scoop slam before hitting two Vernatic Knee Breakers. As Event got to his feet, Kill Prey hit him with the AMBUSH eliminating him. The Main Event was shocked at this but recovered quickly and attacked Kill Prey where the action spilled to the outside. Gryt jumped in to take Event's place and watched as the referee counted Kill Prey out eliminating him as well. Muss stepped in and attacked Gryt. The Circus Strongmen worked together to eliminate Muss hitting him with THE BIG FINISH leaving Zygon alone. Torn never saw action as Tanck and Gryt picked Zygon apart before Tanck beat him with TANCKED to move his team on. Tanck, Gryt, & Torn move on. Endgame/Havoc/Crucible/Rage vs Patch/Tricks/Retribution/Wolf Crucible and Wolf started things off. Crucible stood no chance against the GWF Icon and soon fell to the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. Wolf pointed at Havoc. Havoc acted as if he was stepping into the ring but quickly tagged Endgame. Endgame gave it everything, locking in the ROLLING FIGURE FOUR for several minutes only to have Wolf fight it off. The damage was done though and Havoc took advantage by tagging himself in and hitting Wolf with FALLEN DREAMS putting away Wolf. Patch stepped in for his team and before anything could happen Havoc turned and tagged in Rage. Rage ate several Street Smarts and Walk The Walks before being locked in the TORTURE RACK. Endgame attempted make the save but was stopped by Retribution. Endgame disposed of Retribution and turned his attention to Patch. Endgame beat the crap out of Patch and scored the elimination with an ULTIMA LEAP. Retribution jumped back into the ring and faced off against Endgame. To the shock of everyone, Retribution scored a win with GROUNDING THE DEMON. Endgame refused to tap and something snapped forcing the referee to call it for him leaving Havoc on his own. Retribution showed some compassion for Endgame and was helping him from the ring allowing Havoc to get the drop on him and was put away with FALLEN DREAMS leaving Havoc to face Tricks. Havoc wasted no time in creaming Tricks with a turnbuckle clothesline but was shocked when Tricks kicked out of FALLEN DREAMS. Havoc argued with the referee before grabbing Tricks and hitting a second FALLEN DREAMS for the pin to be the sole survivor. Havoc moves on. Sly Drury/Bloodline/U.S. Male/Paralyze vs Payback/Guy Andrews/Thraxx/Tristan Paralyze and Tristan started off and Paralyze pounded on the smaller man but Tristan regained the offense and tagged in Thraxx who went toe-to-toe with the big Aethran. Frustrated Paralyze tagged in U.S. Male who took it to Thraxx before getting the pin fall with a PATRIOT MISSILE. Guy Andrews wasted no time in hitting the ring and attacking his former friend. U.S. Male brawled with Andrews but a distraction by Phantasy gave Andrews the opening he needed to hit AMERICAN FIREPOWER for the pin, eliminating U.S. Male. Bloodline entered the ring ready for action. The action spilled to the outside where Guy Andrews ended up getting disqualified after hitting Bloodline with a steel chair. Outraged at the decision, Andrews blasted Bloodline again before rolling the near unconscious man into the ring. Payback stepped in and waited for Bloodline to rise and hit a Wildman Spear and went for the pin. Bloodline was unable to recover and was eliminated. Paralyze stepped in as Sly Drury waved him in. Payback gave everything but was unable to overcome Paralyze crushed by the Aethran's high impact offense resulted in Payback being unable to continue and Paralyze got the win leaving Tristan alone to once again face the Gladiator. In what amounted to a mistake of the ages, Paralyze was eating Tristan alive and hooked the Titan up in THE PARALYZER. The referee called for the bell and disqualified The Gladiator and eliminating him. A very hurt Tristan rose to face the challenge of a fresh Sly Drury. Drury laughed as he entered the ring and began slapping Tristan around. Drury dominated Tristan and even hit Tristan with a top rope clothesline. Drury continued his assault and attempted yet another top rope move that backfired allowing Tristan to roll him up. The crowd was on their feet but Drury kicked out. Drury recovered quickly and it wasn't long before he hit the CRIME LORD to eliminate Tristan. Sly Drury moves on. The eight men remaining were informed they would be paired off in singles action to determine a final four. First up was a feud that was boiling over and Valour faced Nosfera. Valour vs Nosfera Nosfera's nature got the better of him and he attacked a fan at ringside getting himself disqualified allowing Valour to move on to the finals. Tanck vs Havoc Tanck put up a hell of a fight but Havoc proved to be too much and put the CTA-102 native away with FALLEN DREAMS. Disaster vs Torn Disaster is on a mission as he plowed right through Torn and scored a victory following the RAMPAGE. Gryt vs Sly Drury A shoulder block off the ropes, a Back Stabber, and a CRIME LORD was all it took for Sly Drury to put away his opponent. Drury raised his arms in victory before awaiting the final three competitors. Sly Drury vs Havoc vs Valour vs Disaster The action fixed on Sly Drury and Valour as the two Gladiators took their fight to the outside. The match was over before any one realized as Drury caught Valour in the ropes with a solid punch before rolling into the ring and hitting the CRIME LORD to win the match. As the bell rung Disaster and Havoc stopped fighting. Disaster got in the referee's face and things got physical. Disaster pushed the referee hard into the corner and turned right into a CRIME LORD by Drury spilling the Aethran to the outside. Drury raised his hand and 'shot' Disaster, Havoc attempted an ambush but Drury ducked the attack and hit him with a CRIME LORD as well before grabbing a mic. Sly Drury stood in the middle of the carnage, "Looks like I earned my chance after all Iron Hand. You've attempted to stop me at every turn and did everything in your power to keep me away from the Galaxian Championship. Once again I prove my caliber and on the next card I'm taking my title back!"There is a mixture of cheers and boos in the crowd but everyone of them turned into heavy boos as Iron Hand stepped out on stage.
Iron Hand, "Not so fast Drury. After Monolith wins his Last Man Standing Match against the insect Swarm he is getting the next card off. Tell you what. One man was unable to compete in this tournament due to an attack by Outlaw Nation. That man is Tauran and I've granted him a match next week against you for the number one contender spot."Sly Drury smirks, "Heh. I knew you would put yet another roadblock in my path, but thats fine, I'll take out Tauran permanently next week. Shouldn't be too hard since he's already injured."Iron Hand, "Did I forget to mention it was a handicapped match. You will be facing Tauran, Anivar, and U.S. Male."Sly Drury, "YOU CAN'T DO THIS! ITS NOT FAIR!"Iron Hand, "Oh, but your wrong. In your would it seems three on one is perfectly acceptable. Have a good night. Now get out of my ring!"Monolith and Iron Hand head to the ring for Monolith's title defense.
Swarm vs Monolith Monolith absolutely dominated Swarm only on but Swarm battled back and closed the gap by putting the hurt on the big man. Monolith proved to be too much and and finally squashed Swarm leaving him unable to answer the count after taking a sixth END OF ALL THINGS. Iron Hand entered the ring with the title belt. Iron Hand, "And so ends this feud Swarm. I am impressed though, so I'm offering you a position on the GWF's premier team, Martial Law. Accept and I can guarantee you gold. I expect your answer soon."Swarm stares at Monolith and Iron Hand as they leave the ring ending the show. This card was a lot of fun to write. Lots of story potential. Drury's wins couldn't have been better, it was in true opportunistic style. Swarm mounted some substantial offense but the final counter count was 12 - 5.

I have always loved these Lethal Lottery settings...they always make for interesting match-ups. The Circus Strongmen showed how dangerous a tag-team can be in this environment when they are drawn to be on the same team together. I'm really surprised that they both made it into the final series of matches...they are never that good for me I thought Valour would be more of a challenge in the last match...but it was just Drury's night it seems. He was definately an opportunist in every match he was in...very "Edge-like." I love the Tauran-Anivar-US Male handicap match for the #1 contender spot...that is a great match...especially if Drury finds a way to win it. Iron Hand continues to prove how much he "hates" Drury. Great card my friend!!! I can't wait for the next one!
