On this week’s Monday Night Madness
Last week the Jungle Nights had the opportunity to get a title shot against Divided We Fall but they lost by countout. After pestering the championship committee, they have been granted a match with the Circus Strongmen to determine who will face the champs at Intergalactic Bash.
As every one knows, the GWF champ defends his title against the I-P champ at the Bash. Tonight though, the I-P champ, Sly Drury, defends his title against Payback. The winner will be the I-P champ and face Havoc on Sunday. We will also have Havoc in action tonight in non-title action against Encubus plus a whole lot more!!
Wolf vs Nosfera(w/Omen) - Wolf comes out quick but Nosfera counters quickly with an elbow to the face as Wolf charges him in the turnbuckle. Nosfera connects on the Spring Heel Kick for 2 ½. Nosfera continues to control things but can’t finish him off despite two more Spring Heel Kicks and The Demon’s Breath. Nosfera follows up with another Spring Heel Kicks for another 2 ½. Wolf goes nuts at this point and controls the rest of the match. He wears him down with high risk moves outside the ring and then hits a Slicing Heel Kick and goes for the pin. Omen tries to distract the ref but Wolf sprints out of the ring and knocks the torch out of his hand. Nosfera attacks him and they exchange blows before Wolf throws him back in the ring. Following a clothesline off the ropes and a suicide drop, Wolf locks on a Savage Face Claw for the hard fought win.
Shann-Ra vs Rotunda - Shann-Ra connects with a Machete just moments into the match for the easy win.
Troubleshooters vs Titan Energy - The teams go back and forth awhile before Nitro works over Muss and connects with a Bad Vibrations but The Bomb makes the save. Nitro continues to work him over and connects with a Gravitational Pull. The Bomb rushes in with a quick clothesline form behind allowing Muss to make a tag. The Titans take turns on The Bomb before they hit a Titan Power and Tristan makes the cover for the win. The Titans dropkick Muss to the floor and jump to the top for another Titan Power. (The Bomb injured 5 cards)
Disaster vs American Guy(w/Phantasy) - Short match sees Disaster connect early with a Decapitator but Guy turns things around with a Star Spangled Elbow. Shortly after that, American Guy comes off the top rope with a crossbody for a shocking pinfall.
Kill Prey(w/Sultana) vs Zygon(w/Dark Menace) - Most of the match is controlled by Kill Prey but his high risk moves take a toll on him as well and Zygon is able to pull off the upset following consecutive Tri-Claws.
Non-Title - Havoc(w/Dark Menace) vs Encubus - The champ has little trouble with Encubus but he takes his time, hitting several Gothic Tomb Spikes, before finally getting the pin following a Fallen Dreams.
#1 Tag contender - Circus Strongmen(w/Vin Strutter) vs Jungle Nights(w/She Devil) - The Circus Strongmen look dominant controlling both members of Panther Warrior and Malkuth before Gryt gets the win with a Strongmen Stretch on Malkuth.
I-P - Sly Drury (c) (w/The Betrayer) vs Payback - Drury dominates the match from the start and connects early with two running spears. A few moments later, Drury hits a Flaunt The Law but the referee catches him and awards the DQ victory to Payback.
Payback grabs the mike - “Eat Death, Aethran. I’m coming for the GWF title on Sunday.”
Sly Drury - “What are you talking about? The GWF rules indicate that the I-P champ gets a title shot at Intergalactic Bash. That’s me.”
Payback - “And it was also said that the winner of tonight’s match gets the match against Havoc.”
The two men get nose to nose and Iron Hand’s music hits.
Iron Hand - “Gentlemen, relax. The way this match ended, I really don’t know what to do.”
Both Payback and Drury at the same time - “Choose Me.” They start to brawl but GWF security quickly restrains them in opposite corners.”
Iron Hand - “HA! This is incredible. I’ve just had a stroke of genius for a never seen before match!!! We’ve got the GWF champ, Havoc and the I-P champ, Sly Drury. I can’t change that. But Payback did win his match so this is now a Trion Triple Threat.”
Crowd Cheers.
Iron Hand - “Here’s where it gets interesting. The person who scores the pinfall or submission is the GWF champ. That part is simple. The person who loses that fall is beltless. The person who is not involved in the decision walks away the I-P champ!!! This match will be called the All On The Line Match.”
Holy crap folks. Interesting stipulations dealt out by Iron Hand!!!
