GWF Update:
Monolith Debuts in 2121 and starts a three way battle for the Galaxian belt against Endgame and Disaster. Monolith goes undefeated for the year, capturing the belt in his second match and never losing it at all. Going into 2121 the Gladiators were the tag champs. They lost the belt once to the Master Race and got it back soon thereafter. The Divided We Fall got the belts and kept them the rest of the year. The Inter-Galactic Title was traded back and forth between Payback and Sly Drury, with Tanck sneaking in a small reign in the middle of the year. Payback has the belt to start 2122. Phantasy and She-Devil traded the Women's belt a few times with Phantasy holding on to it going into 2122.
The first show of 2122 has been slated as:
GWF Massacre from the Rigel Nova Pavilion in the Orion System
Main Event Sly Drury vs. Payback (I-G Champ) for the belt.
Master Race vs. Stars and Stripes for a Tag Title shot at the next PPV
Valour vs. Kill Prey in a falls count anywhere match
Nosfera vs. Anivar
Phantasy vs. Latasha in a loser leaves forever match
Gryt vs. Betrayer

CPC Update:
Simply put, the last show (Goldmine) of the year was cancelled and in it's place was a "Best of CPC" show that featured everything from the first mention of the CPC way back in 2105 to the last CPC Galaxian Title match between Shylock the the Champ and Cypher(Shylock won but both were bloody). At the end of the show the screen faded to black and the words trickled down the screen: R.I.P. CPC
The Insider still doesn't know what is going on as the next Holo-Vid slot listed for Goldmine is still slated as CPC Goldmine...Only time will tell...

TXW Update:
The T/EW debuted in 2100 and thrived as a small fed until it went underground in 2110. After wrestling returned in 2112 the T/EW struggled to stay open for 3 years. In 2115 they merged with the BXW (Brymstone Xtreme Wrestling) and the DSC (Draconian Slave Circuit)to become the TXW (Totally Xtreme Wrestling). They flourished with an alternative "brand" of wrestling and a seemingly endless supply of money. In 2118 they were granted "Galaxian" Title status by the UFSP. Then in 2119 the TXW fell under new ownership (Jarrod Silver) who took the TXW a whole different direction. For the past three years the titles have been the TXW Extreme, TXW Heritage, and TXW Combat (Men and Women singles only, no tag team). If All three titles were to be held by the same person, that title is called the Galaxian Triple Crown. So far it hasn't happened. Going into 2122 the Champs are:
TXW Extreme: The Reborn TXW Heritage: Darius TXW Combat: Dark Tyger TXW Women's Extreme: Lady Axe TXW Women's Heritage: Nikki Synn TXW Women's Combat: Tessa
The first show of 2122 (TXW Conflict) is slated as:
TXW Conflict from Predator's Lair in Beta Andromeda
Chris Knight vs. Corey Judge (Heritage) Dark Tyger(Combat Champ) vs. Hunter Cross (Combat) Gothic Dragon vs. Saviged (Extreme) Destroyer vs. Kaliburn (Heritage) The Reborn (Extreme Champ) vs. Kevin Angel (Extreme) Marshal Ace vs. Shaw Minn (Combat) Murin vs. Nikki Synn (Combat) Raylon vs. Monica (Extreme)

The Insider, 2122-week one:
Ok, this is Gam Talcot, the Insider. First thing is first, if you missed this week's shows, shame on you! The CPC is indeed dead! You read that right, DEAD!!! In it's place rising from the ashes...the POW!!!!!!! Complete with JACK HOOD as the new commissioner! Magnus Colby announced the sale of the CPC to Faustus Grael and Faustus didn't waste time sweeping away the old and bringing in the new...er really old...well, I guess we will see.
The new show is called POW Hostility and it opened up with the Magnus announcement possibly recorded as it was a simple announcement with nothing else to it. Then the camera opened up in the packed Pleiades Cluster Center with impressive pyro and a very jacked up crowd. Faustus was in the ring working up the crowd and announcing the re-birth of the POW. He announced the start of the POW Galaxian Championship Tournament that had 17 members of the roster. He explained that 16 of the "boys" would face each other in a bracket style tournament that would last three weeks. Then the winner of that would face the 17th man at the first POW PPV, a one-time only event named POW Revival. The man the winner of the tournament would face is......also your new commisioner....JACK HOOD!!!! The Pleiades crowd ate it up...
The eight matches on the show made up the entire first round of the tournament. The matches were randomly drawn and no seeds given. Faustus later stated that the records were wiped clean and everyone will get a fresh start.
Shylock vs. Absalom
Shylock dominates and wins with FALLOUT. No surprise to most as Shylock was the CPC Champ....Oops...um, I mean a surprisingly dominate performance, you know since everyone is even and stuff.
Rubicon vs. Mike Fortune
Mike Fortune gets the upset when Rubicon is distracted by the sudden return of Puma...who simply appeared out of nowhere and just stared at Rubicon from the top of the ramp. After the loss, Rubicon rolled out of the ring to chase Puma, but Puma disappeared.
Raze vs Gunnar
Raze moves on after a hard-hitting battle that lasted about ten minutes. Both men received an ovation for this classic.
Mensar vs Indigo
Mensar was too much for Indigo and finished him rather quickly. Euritar was watching this one backstage and just shaking his head as Mensar's hand was raised.
Excalibur vs. Stigma
Stigma had a tough time putting Excalibur away, but finally did about the 8 minute mark. Afterward, Stigma cut a promo saying he would love to win the POW Belt, but what he really can't wait for is the..."other"... belt that will soon be revealed. My research into this foreshadowing has so far come up empty...
Dante vs Zed Marlowe
Now this was the show stealer...two fan favorite's that put on a clinic. Zed Marlowe pulled off the amazing victory after 15 minutes of awesomeness!!! The two stared down each other before embracing in a manly handshake much to the delight of the crowd...
Brainstorm vs. Euritar
Mensar didn't watch this match from the back, he strolled down to ringside and got involved. Euritar however, seemed to be ready for him and ended up winning with MERCILESS...to which Mensar promptly attacked Euritar afterward, but was unable to inflict any damage as POW security broke them up....much to the dismay of the fans...that is until Jack Hood's music hit....The new commish came out and cut a biting interview about how he missed the good ole days and he has decided to bring them back....next week, in the second round of this tournament, Mensar vs. Euritar...falls counts anywhere in Pleiades!!!
Mensar was grinning and Euritar was nodding his approval....the fans....well, you know.....
Pendakar vs. Cypher
Great match to end the show, Cypher pulled off the win, but just barely...then he decided to continue the beat down, until Stigma made the save. Pendakar and Stigma stood nose to nose in the middle of the ring as the show went off the air.
The insider has the lowdown on what has shaped up to be a great moment in wrestling history, the return of the POW. Seems as though Colby has grown tired of Our great sport and decided to move on with other investments...to which I say...buh-bye. Faustus Grael has promised the greatness of the CPC combined with the brutality of the old POW in a unique blend of wrestling. He has stated he will disclose more information as the weeks go by. The show for next week has been released and shapes up as follows:
POW Hostility, live from the Pleiades Cluster Center
Main Event: The second round of the POW Galaxian Title Tournament
Mensar vs Euritar (Falls Count anywhere) Raze vs Shylock Cypher vs. Mike Fortune Stigma vs. Zed Marlowe
The Punks vs. Darwin's Legacy
Morgana vs. Xenia
Dante vs. T.K.
Next to report is the GWF. The show was a decent event, although not much happening for the first Holo-vid event of 2122. Match by match goes like this:
Gryt vs. The Betrayer
Gryt surprised the Betrayer early on, but couldn't finish the sneaky little freak and the Betrayer leaves the ring a winner.
Phantasy vs. Latasha (Loser Leaves)
Phantasy brings her GWF title to the ring in this non-title grudge match. Latasha is acting like she is some huge star, not wanting the ref to touch her and most definitely not wanting to lock up with the champ. In the end though Latasha indeed loses (As I, the Insider, Predicted) and has been ousted from the GWF forever....
Nosfara vs. Anivar
Nosfara wins a one sided affair in which Anivar looked bad in, almost as if he didn't even care.
Valour vs. Kill Prey (Falls count anywhere)
A rematch from the last PPV that ended up the same, Kill Prey looking unbeatable and pinning Valour in the middle of the ring after battling everywhere else for a while. Kill Prey then gets on the house mike and keeps it short. "I WANT THE BELT!" And exits the arena...
Master Race vs. Stars and Stripes (#1 Contender Match)
Stars and Stripes continue to struggle as a team and the Master Race earn a Tag Title shot.
Sly Drury vs. Payback (I-G Title)
Payback came within a heartbeat of winning the belt, but then was attacked by Vidtek!! "The guest ring announcer has just attacked a wrestler!!" was DragonMaster's response...After the beat down, Vidtek got the mic and said "IIIII'mmmmm Baaaccckk!" as the show goes off the air.
The TXW show, Conflict, from The Predator's Lair in Beta Andromeda went like this:
Chris Knight vs. Corey Judge (Heritage)
An absolute clinic in wrestling with Chris pulling out the victory with KNIGHT MOVES.
Dark Tyger(Combat Champ) vs. Hunter Cross (Combat)
Tyger looks unstoppable in the combat division as he takes out Hunter Cross with a triangle choke in about three minutes.
Gothic Dragon vs. Saviged (Extreme)
Brutal, quick and bloody as Saviged tore Gothic Dragon up.
Destroyer vs. Kaliburn (Heritage)
Kaliburn defeats Destroyer with a lesson on how to do suplexes, finishing him off with six straight exploder suplexes before getting the pin.
The Reborn (Extreme Champ) vs. Kevin Angel (Extreme)
Kevin Angel survives a HELLFIRE CLOTHESLINE and hits the Reborn with a chair, before locking in the CRUCIFIXTION for the victory and the Extreme Title.
Marshal Ace vs. Shaw Minn (Combat)
Tang Soo Do vs Caporeia....flashy...fast....and exciting...for about a minute, until Marshal caught Shaw Minn with Ace in the Hole and gets the KO victory.
Murin vs. Nikki Synn (Combat)
Murin, continues to show why, she is considered the greatest technical woman in the game as she takes Nikki to the ground and plays with her before locking in a brutal leg lock for the submission win.
Raylon vs. Monica (Extreme)
A VERY hard hitting slugfest that spilled out of the ring on several occasions...if this was a heritage match it would have ended in DQ about ten times...But it was an Extreme Match and therefore got bloody. Raylon finally pinned Monica after Slamming her into the ring post and flinging her back into the ring.
At the end of the show, Jarod Silver Came on the screen and stated that next week, the face of the TXW would change forever...
Again?
No title changes to report on the indy scene this week, so that pretty much does it. See you at the matches.........

The Insider Report.
From unnamed sources in the GWF, TXW, and POW: Rumors abound about a three way merger between these brands. If this is true, the statement made by Jarod Silver this past week, may bid true. This reporter has mixed feelings about this possibility. On one hand, we could see alot of dream scenarios, on the other hand where would all the top tier talent be put, how long would the shows be, what about the money??? Anyway, time will tell, as with all rumors...

This is Gam Talcot, the insider. I am here at a special press conference that has been scheduled seemingly out of nowhere in place of the live shows for the GWF, POW, and TXW. Rumors are flying around like crazy about what is going on, but so far nothing has been confirmed. Now it's time to head to the podium.
Behind the scenes owner of the GWF Tom Filsinger and TXW Owner Jarod Silver walks up to the podium as the media begins to buzz loudly. Tom motions for everyone to quiet down and the place gets silent.
Tom Filsinger: "Good evening ladies and gentleman. I am going to get straight to the point. With the help of Mr. Silver and a couple of, shall we say, unnamed partners, the GWF and TXW have merged. We were going to offer a merger to Faustus Grael to include the POW, but he refused." At this point, Mr. Filsinger grins in what could only be described as evil. "So I did what I do best. I initiated a hostile takeover of the POW and I fired Mr. Grael. The result is the new GWF. I have also established a working relationship with approximately 10 'minor league' feds across the Galaxy. The performers that didn't make the cut for my new GWF have all been placed in these various feds. Now Mr. Silver has an announcement to make and then we will take questions."
Jarod Silver: "Evening all. With this deal, I get to return to what I love. I am now the CEO of the TXC, or Totally Xtreme Cagefighting. This will be the premiere MMA league in the Galaxy. The GWF and TXC will be supporting each other financially. As I said last week, this changes the face of wrestling as we know it. Now if you have any questions....."
At that point the media went nuts, everyone talking over everyone else, it was chaos......then Tom Filsinger slammed his hand down onto the podium, causing everyone to jump with the loud thump that echoed through the mic. He grinned again as the place fell silent.
Tom Filsinger: "Ok, that's better. As of this moment, you may call me Mr. Filsinger. Since the media can't seem to act civilized we shall end this press conference. A media pack will be provided to each and everyone of you that will give all the details of the new face of Galaxian Wrestling."
Jarod Silver: "As well as the new face of Galaxian Cagefighting"
The two very rich men shook hands and exited the stage.
