I know that "technically" we are competing with each other for the Booking Challenge , but your fed has been FREAKIN' INSANE, in a great way! I am not a huge COTG fan (as compared to LOW/LOTF), but I always can appreciate someone who knows what they are doing. This fed has been something else and you did a great job!

To Dharneth & Avarice: You guys have been down since the beginning & encouraged me to blow everyone away with each card. I'm honored to call you both my friends. Thanks.

I've been asked several times through PMs & in the thread if I will be continuing MAYHEM after the Booking Challenge has ended...I haven't decided yet. I want to see what happens with the Challenge & take some time to reflect on what I've learned from doing this. I would love to bring MAYHEM back for another Season, because I really like what I have going, but I began this with a definate ending in mind & I think I have achieved that. Like I said, I have to give it some thought...

Once again, a HUGE thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this thread; I hope you enjoyed it.

The Messenger (voice over): “A reckoning has come for thee! Your actions have brought you into my realm; a place you should never have come!!”


GWFZ Committee Member Terminus lying face down in a pool of his own blood; a single .45 caliber shell casing shines in the middle of the pool…


The Messenger stands over someone with his gun against the back of their head; the camera pans out to reveal: Pulsar!!


The Messenger (voice over): “Destroy all that which is evil; so that which is good may flourish…”


The Messenger pulls back the hammer of his gun…and FIRES…


The Messenger (voice over): “Whosoever descends into my realm; by my hand shall his blood be spilled…”


There is a body covered over by a white sheet; a large pool of blood comes from under the sheet; a single .45 caliber shell casing rests in the pool…a name is clearly visible at the top of the detective’s notes: Assassin Z…


Nefarus (voice over): “I’m sorry for what I’ve done…”

An image is shown of the GWFZ Committee Board Room; one member is present, face down on the table. A gun is in his hand, brain matter is splattered all over the wall. A single .45 caliber shell casing is lying in the pool of blood surrounding what remains of his head…



Image cuts to the Deimos Intergalactic Spaceport; Paragon relaxes in a transport on final approach…

Unknown Man (voice over): “For thy misdeeds; a reckoning...”

Two hands reach around his seat with a garrote & quickly loop it around his neck; it closes his windpipe quickly before he can utter a sound…

A man in a long coat & hat stands up & closes Paragon’s eyes; places a coin on each of them…He bends & speaks quietly into Paragon’s ear…

Unknown Man: “In Nomine Patris, Et Filii, Et Spiritus Sancti…”


Camera cuts into Commissioner Two Face’s office…

Two Face: “I knew you would come…it was a matter of time…”

The Messenger steps into the camera shot; his gun is drawn & leveled at Two Face…

Two Face: “One last flip?”

The Messenger nods slightly; Two Face flips the coin…

BANG!

Two Face’s body drops to the desk; the damaged portion of his face is gone. The coin lands on the desk: tail side up…


Fade to black…

Stellar Nexus: “Good evening ladies & gentlemen. I am Stellar Nexus, new Commissioner of GWFZ: MAYHEM. After and inaugural season of triumph & tragedy, we come before you on the eve of our new season to discuss the state of our sport.”

“Last season forced some internal restructuring; I have retained Star Warrior on the GWFZ Committee & have brought on Thantos to establish a fair balance on rulings like granting title matches & handing down suspensions.”

“I am encouraged by huge attendance numbers, lots of enthusiasm from our fans and reasonable gains in merchandising. These factors give us a solid base from which to build another successful season.”

“I have spoken at length our roster & made clear our expectations regarding behavioral violence outside the wrestling ring. Each member of GWFZ: MAYHEM has agreed to set aside personal agendas & vendettas in order to move forward.”

“Because of these agreements I have set aside all corrective action, suspensions & fines relating to actions last season. The slate is clean across the board. These men know that we will deal fairly with them only so long as they abide by our agreement and will deal harshly with them the moment they step out of line.”

“This season we have expanded to 24 shows & two pay-per-views. Our roster has 24 of the brightest stars in professional wrestling. Let’s not forget, we need to keep our perspective. Our sport has faced worse and ended up the stronger for it. It’s a matter of hard work, perseverance & faith.”

“When I look at our sport I see good & bad, positives & negatives coming out of last season. If we keep our heads on straight, do the right things, and remain loyal to our sport, the positives will quickly outweigh the negatives. Wrestling is the real deal. It’s not going anywhere. It’s all about the attitude. Thank you.”




Image flashes to that of The Messenger & his brothers The Reckoning & The Judgment. All three men are cleaning their weapons while watching Stellar Nexus' speech...

Messenger: "My path back to the Z-DIVISION TITLE begins tomorrow. Homage must defeat GQ Stratus."

Reckoning: "We will strike Stratus on his way to the ring."

Judgment: "The time of The Saints has come. Blood shall flow like a river."



Image flashes to Godsend lounging in a darkened room in a huge throne watching Stellar Nexus' speech. Nightmare materializes out of the shadow...

Nightmare: "Does he really believe those things?"

Godsend: "It appears so."

Nightmare: "What is the plan?"

Godsend gets back to his feet & walks over to a table upon which rests The Legacy. He smiles down upon his latest creation...

Godsend: "We will dominate everyone of course. My path to Z-DIVISION TITLE begins with The Messenger winning it."

Nightmare: "You are feuding with him."

Godsend turns back toward Nightmare quickly...

Godsend: "Do not question my vision. It will end with the Z-DIVISION TITLE around my waist at season's end!"

Camera focuses in on the face of The Legacy on the table; a long symbiotic tongue snakes out of his mouth as he smiles ruthlessly at Godsend's final words...




Image flashes to Overtime speaking with Grillz & Nitro. Stellar Nexus is speaking in the background...

Overtime: "You two are the only ones left who will work with me."

Nitro: "I'm not thrilled about it; believe me."

Grillz: "Don't start no sh*t; won't be no sh*t!"

Overtime: "I've turned over a new leaf. Gone is the brash complainer that you knew last season. This is a season of domination for the Titans."

Nitro: "Who are you & what have you done with Overtime?"

Grillz: "Yea!!"

Overtime: "This season I will be the Z-DIVISION CHAMPION. I guarantee it!"

Grillz: "What?!?"

Overtime: "I will be the champion!"

Grillz: "What?!?"

Overtime (shouts): "I WILL BE THE CHAMPION!"

Grillz: "Ok!"




Image flashes into a gym; Strong, Salvage & Sledgend are all working out. Stellar Nexus is speaking on the holo-vid on the wall...

Strong: "Domination."

Salvage: "Distinction."

Sledgend: "Destruction."

The three beasts bring their hands together...

All three together: "Jacked Up!"




Image flashes into a smoky bar; Gallows is watching Stellar Nexus' speech on the monitor there. Grash walks up & takes a stool beside him...

Gallows: "Have you made your decision?"

Grash: "Would I be here otherwise?"

Gallows: "Perhaps."

Grash: "Who is our third?"

A knife flashes past Grash's face & sticks into Gallows arm...

Gheist: "I am."

Gallows removes the knife & hands it back to Gheist...

Grash: "What's our team name going to be; The G-Men?"

Gallows: "Beat Down."

Gheist: "’Cause that's what they're going to get."




Image flashes to the Kronos Star Port; Stellar Nexus is speaking on all the terminals. Nes Kincade awaits the arrival of Magnifico & Pariah; he doesn't have to wait long...

Nes Kincade: "Thanks for coming."

Magnifico: "Just another chance to prove the New School is the premiere group in professional wrestling."

Pariah: "Is it true there isn't a tag-team division?"

Nes Kincade: "Yep. Is that a problem?"

Pariah: "Nope. I'm overdue for a singles title."

All three men laugh together & leave the star port...




Image flashes to Homage watching Stellar Nexus' speech with a contract lying on the table before him. The camera zooms in on the contract; it reads: Z-DIVISION TILE MATCH, GQ STRATUS © vs. HOMAGE. Homage signs the contract…

Ares: “You will be the Z-DIVISION CHAMPION again.”

Paladin: “You are clearly better than that filthy GQ Stratus.”

Homage: “The time has come for our Ascendance. Thank you both for joining me this season.”

Ares: “The honor is mine to fight alongside you.”

Paladin: “Vallah allows me to pursue my task by my own methods. I too am honored to fight beside you.”




Image flashes to a wild rave; GQ Stratus is in the middle of 10 women on a large couch; The Main Event & Narcotik sit on the outskirts of the group, each with a flock of women of their own…

GQ Stratus: “Money, Women, and Power; the life of a Champion! WHOOOO!”

Main Event: “You are lucky that you never have to face me this season. That title would be around my waist.”

GQ Stratus: “What? I can’t hear you; the music is too loud.”

Main Event (shouting): “Remember what happened the last time you lost yourself in a group of women.”

Stratus blanches at the comment & looks at the woman on his lap…

GQ Stratus: “How old did you say you were again?”

The woman giggles & whispers in his ear…

Narcotik (mutters to himself): “Neither of you are good enough to lace up my boots. I want that title.”

In the background you see a single monitor displaying Stellar Nexus’ speech…
