Newcomer Overtime's agent calls the GWFZ Mayhem office and has a proposal to use 'expensive cutting edge technology' obtained by the production crew to transform the way Overtime is marketed.
Challenge 1: Design the Overtime transformation. What does it involve? Is the idea cost effective?

The Messenger Wants A Compelling Entrance
The Messenger's success has won the respect of the office. Feeling his oats, he makes a request to have a spectacular 'pre-match ritual' built into his entrance for every match. It is to symbolize something unique that will mentally disrupt both the audience and his opponents.
Challenge 5: Build The Messenger's mesmerizing and intimidating pre-match entrance ritual.

Homage Meets Prison
A story breaks out on the Internet that 'the man who plays GWFZ Superstar Homage' has been arrested for some reason. He was later released 'on his own recognizance' and is available to wrestle. Details are sketchy.
Challenge 6: What 'real world' event happened to Homage? Find a way to deal with the rumor mongering and fall out.

Narcotik, Assault And A Near Riot!
On your next show, Narcotik is shown viciously assaulting someone in the crowd (a non-wrestler). The action is so frantic that a 'near riot' breaks out that includes 5 other GWFZ Mayhem Superstars. A swarm of Robo-Cops have to be called in for the sake of preserving public safety.
Challenge 7: Design the 'near riot' at your next show. What sets Narcotik off? Who are the other 5 GWFZ Superstars that are involved? What causes the crowd to explode into violence? What is the fallout and are there any consequences for those involved?

Fantastic card! An awesome read every week. Funny to see the Messenger kicking butt in your fed. This is the first time I have heard of him hitting the 666 anywhere. I was for the anti-union side as well...gotta be I'm management  Can wait to see what happens in Sudden Death! Thanks to everyone for their awesome replies! I'm glad you guys are entertained! As for The Messenger hitting the 666 combo - actually it was the 656 combo...or the "neighbor of the Beast combo" as I've taken to calling it. The 666 is the Conveyor DDT, the Redeemer Neckbreaker & THE MESSAGE. I hardly hit the Redeemer Neckbreaker part of the combo & whenever I do the result is always "hurt" instead of down. Again, thanks for responding with your comments! I like to know what people think about what I write! Thanks! Damn look like I jumped the gun, I wasn't looking at the card when I gave the congrats. I think that makes me the only one to hit it that is posting right now as he was able to pull it off in me CWA : GWFZ fed. |

I posted in TGBITG that the odds are about 1 in 900 of him hitting it at any time on L1O. Worse odds than Dreadnaught dying I believe. Sorry to hijack the thread Eliath...looks like you got some more challenges ahead of you. |

The morning after MAYHEM...
Two gentlemen in mid-grade suits are meeting with Justin Case & Commissioner Two Face...
Suit #1: "We cannot certify the vote until all employees have voted..."
Justin Case: "The vote is in; we won the tie-breaker match yesterday..."
Suit #2: "You won the right to a tie-breaker; however, we are still missing two votes..."
Suit #1 reviews his list...
Suit #1: "Mr. Revelation & Mr. Homage..."
Justin Case: "They both abstained during the vote!!"
Suit #2: "No sir. That's not the case..."
Suit #1: "As we understand it; they were "undecided"..."
Two Face laughs aloud...
Two Face: "Everyone is entitled to a vote Mr. Case..."
Justin Case points an accusing finger at Two Face...
Justin Case: "You did this! That's why you booked Revelation in a GWFZ CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH!"
Two Face: "I'm just following the rules that the UFL-GLU put in place..."
Suit #2: "As soon as we can get those last two votes we can certify the results..."
Suit #1: "Once certified, collective bargaining can begin..."
Two Face: "Providing that the vote is pro-union..."
Suit #1: "Correct sir."
Two Face shakes hands with both men...
Two Face: "Thank you gentlemen. If you will excuse me, I have several meetings to attend today..."
Justin Case grabs Two Face by the arm before he can get away...
Justin Case (whispering to Two Face): "You won't get away with this..."
Two Face smirks...
Two Face: "I already have Mr. Case; you'll see."
Two Face winks at him & walks away...

(AP) DEIMOS, MARS - GWFZ Superstar Homage was arrested early Monday morning. He has been charged with violation of a protective order. Homage is currently incarcerated in the Deimos Intergalactic Detention Center pending processing. Arraignment is set for Monday afternoon. Further details will follow.

Scene opens inside Revelation’s home; his wife just slapped him across the face…
Marla: “This is the last straw! I’m done!”
Revelation: “Marla, wait a minute. Don’t do this; please. I'm facing the biggest match of my career for the GWFZ CHAMPIONSHIP...”
Marla: “It’s already done! I filed for divorce today…”
Revelation: “No Marla! Please don’t do this! I can't lose you!”
Marla: “It doesn’t matter anymore! I’ve already found someone else that makes me happy!”
Revelation: “I don’t believe this Marla! I love you!”
Marla: “Well, I don’t love you; not anymore!”
Revelation: “Who is this guy you’ve found anyway?”
Marla: “I don’t want to say; you know him & I don’t want any trouble. Just leave & let me get on with my life…”
Revelation: “Marla, I want to know who I’m losing you to…”
Marla starts to cry…
Revelation: “If you tell me; I promise that I’ll leave without any trouble…”
Marla looks up with tears in her eyes…
Marla: “Stryker…”
Revelation: “WHAT!?!”
Scarla: “It all started about a month ago. He came by looking for you when you weren’t here. I couldn’t help myself. He made me feel wanted again; unlike anything you have given me in a long time.”
Revelation shatters a vase against the wall…
Revelation: “I don’t believe this; that bastard! How can you betray me like this?”
Marla: “I love him…”
Revelation slaps her across the face…
Revelation: “I’ve given you everything; this is how you repay me? I love you!”
Marla puts a hand to her cheek; malice in her eyes now…
Marla: “Stryker is a REAL Titan; you’re nothing but a little smoky! He gives me EVERYTHING you never could!”
Revelation draws back to hit her again but stops himself; then walks away…

Setting: A press conference on Deimos. Hundreds of media personnel fill the room. Homage has called this press conference to explain the circumstances surrounding his recent arrest…
Commissioner Two Face & GWFZ Committee member Pulsar sit on each side of the podium…
Homage comes out to the podium & begins speaking…
Homage: “Good evening ladies & gentlemen. I’m here to explain the circumstances of my recent arrest. I will accept questions after my opening statement. I was arrested for violation of a protective order. A former lover, the mother of my two children, opened a protective order against me about a month ago. I needed someone to talk to about the issues that I’ve been having with The Legacy; she was receptive & listened quietly while I poured out my thoughts. I spent a little time with my kids & thanked her for the visit & for listening; kissed my kids & went home. When I reached my home, the police were waiting for me & placed me under arrest & took me into custody.
Reporter: “Protective Orders must be served to those being restricted. Weren’t you served?”
Homage: “I was served when they booked me into the Deimos Intergalactic Detention Center. I told them that being served with this Order anytime before today would have been helpful…”
Everyone present laughs…
Reporter: “What were the circumstances around the Protective Order?”
Homage: “I caught my former lover in an affair with another man. When he found out that I was a professional wrestler he was afraid that I would harm him. The Order was issued to protect them both.”
Reporter: “How was your stay in the Detention Center?”
Homage: “Let me just say that they were very nice & respectful to me. The food was horrible. The accommodations were miserable. I had to wait three days before I could take a shower. It was the worst experience of my life; I can promise everyone that I will never again serve time. A couple days were more than enough to convince me that jail life is not for me…”
Everyone present laughs again…
Reporter: “What does this arrest do for your career in the GWFZ?”
Two Face: “Homage is a great talent in our organization. We have discussed with him the circumstances of his arrest & have determined that he was unable to avoid the circumstances & shouldn’t be further punished by the GWFZ for his actions…”
Reporter: “Can you tell us about your court appearance?”
Homage: “I was wearing a prison orange jump-suit; they even took away my shoe laces. I was in a small room with a vid-screen on the wall in front of me. There was a microphone on the table before me. All I could see in the camera was the judge presiding over my case. He asked me for the details concerning my arrest; I gave him what I knew. I could hear my parents in the background & my attorney, but I couldn’t see them at all. My attorney spoke about the fact that I hadn’t been served with the Order; that I was unaware of the restriction & that we had small children together that I paid support for. The judge remanded me for trial & dismissed me…”
Reporter: “How did you feel about that?”
Homage: “Honestly, I was scared to death. I was placed into general population in the prison; I found a wall, put my back against it & sat on the floor. Nobody talked to me; I tried to figure out what I was going to do next. I didn’t belong there, that’s for sure…”
Reporter: “Can you speak about your release?”
Homage: “I sat there for about 2 hours; the guard that had walked me there came to get me & walked me back to the counter. He laughed & told me that when he brought me down there, he knew that I didn’t belong there because of the circumstances of my case. He told me that my attorney had secured my release through the Superior Justice.”
Reporter: “The Superior Justice was involved in your case?”
Homage: “I was told that when the Superior Justice was informed of my case he asked: “What the hell is this guy doing in jail? He wasn’t served with the Protective Order; how can we expect him to uphold it if he didn’t know about it?” After that he ordered me released & the charges dropped.”
Reporter: “So this won’t go on your record then?”
Homage: “No, the charges were dropped against me; as well as the Protective Order. I’m free to see my kids. I’m not a threat to anyone outside of the ring.”
Reporter: “What’s next for Homage?”
Two Face: “We have booked him in a match against his rival The Legacy. The fans have determined that his match will have SUDDEN DEATH implications; meaning that the loser of this match will be forced to leave the GWFZ.”
Reporter: “Any comment for The Legacy about your upcoming match?”
Homage: “I will make amends for what I failed to see in The Legacy. I will defeat him & send him out of the GWFZ!”
With no further questions, Homage thanked everyone for coming & closed the press conference…

Scene opens in the weekly GWFZ Committee Strategy Meeting…
Paragon: “What do we do about G.Q. Stratus? My sources say that he will be found “not guilty” of all charges…”
Two Face: “Stratus was released from his GWFZ contract. There is nothing more to talk about…”
Paragon: “His return could spell big ratings for the GWFZ…”
Before Two Face can respond, Nes Kincade bursts into the meeting…
Nes Kincade: “If you are going to book me against my friends, you can release me from my contract right now!”
Paragon smiles & winks at Two Face…
Two Face: “I was under the impression that you and The Main Event were on the outs…”
Nes Kincade: “I may not approve of his choices; but he is still my friend. I won’t eliminate him in SUDDEN DEATH. You might as well release me…”
Two Face flips his coin; Kincade catches it in the air & lays it down tails up…
Two Face: “You are the first to dare that; I like that in you. I’ll tell you what; you get your wish. You will face Sgt. Z & Pride will take your place in the SUDDEN DEATH MATCH against The Main Event…”
Star Warrior: “Wait a minute; Pride has the MITB CONTRACT. Do you really want to risk eliminating him?”
Paragon: “He is so broken up; I’m surprised that he hasn’t retired yet…”
Two Face: “Is there anything else Mr. Kincade?”
Nes Kincade: “No sir.”
Two Face: “If you will excuse us then…”
Kincade turns to leave but bumps into Overtime at the door; his agent accompanies him…
Two Face: “Was a revolving door installed without my approval?”
Overtime: “My agent has a proposal for your approval. We wanted to bring this to your attention before the show…”
Two Face: “You have five minutes…”
Mr. Rosenhaus: “Thank you gentlemen. My client understands that COSMIC COLA is represented in the GWFZ by the winless Morbid. He also understands that Morbid is involved in a SUDDEN DEATH MATCH on the next card. My client feels that COSMIC COLA should be represented by a true talent in the GWFZ. He graciously has volunteered to step forward & challenge Morbid in SUDDEN DEATH for the COSMIC COLA sponsorship deal…”
Paragon: “Everyone has a beef to pick with my guys…”
Max Shield: “If you didn’t pick all the losers…”
Paragon (interrupts): “Don’t give me that! I’ve still got the GWFZ CHAMPION!”
Two Face: “Gentlemen please; I think this idea has merit. We were discussing Morbid earlier today & this plan may help us going forward with COSMIC COLA representation.”
Mr. Rosenhaus: “My client also has a marketing idea that will continue the “hardcore” edge that COSMIC COLA enjoys. My client will become the “Hardcore Titan.”
Paragon: “Now that has a nice ring to it!”
Pulsar: “Only because it’s one of your guys…”
Mr. Rosenhaus: “What we need from the GWFZ is a minor investment in a personal hologram projector that will make Overtime appear to be a true Titan of giant size; say over 7 feet…”
Two Face: “What exactly is this “minor investment”?”
Mr. Rosenhaus: “A couple million dollars should get the program off the ground…”
Two Face: “Get out!”
Star Warrior escorts Overtime & his agent to the door; Mr. Rosenhaus continues to shout over his shoulder…
Mr. Rosenhaus: “Think about it! COSMIC COLA could be enticed to invest in this! Overtime would tower above everyone else; truly monolithic in size. He would dominate!”
The door is closed on them…
Two Face: “Lets make the change with Morbid; put Overtime against him in the SUDDEN DEATH MATCH…The survivor gets COSMIC COLA…”
Terminus: “You could make every match that the COSMIC COLA ICON competes in a hardcore match of some type…”
Pulsar: “Hardcore matches always bring up ratings…”
Max Shield: “Every match could also have SUDDEN DEATH implications…”
Paragon: “Why are you guys against all my guys?”
Star Warrior: “You have to expect it Paragon; your guys are all the ones that are getting the publicity. Stratus, Morbid, The Messenger, now Overtime as well…”
Terminus: “The only other mentor that came close was Nefarus…”
Two Face: “Someone contact COSMIC COLA & ask about investing in Overtime’s idea…”
