I've recently picked EC back up after a long layoff, I had forgotten how much fun this time period was. I'll start by posting the past results and then post the recent cards that picked up where I left off before

A modest sized crowd showed up to witness the first ever card for the newly formed Galaxian Wrestling Federation. Omega & Morpheus came out an greeted the fans and gave them the run-down of the 6 match card. Dorado Sundown came out and interrupted the preceedings, stating tonight they would beat Omega & Morpheus as a stepping stone to taking over the GWF. All four men stood face to face and it looked like the fireworks would erupt early, but cooler heads prevailed and the show got underway.

Commander Sam beat Torpor via Sam's Atomic Drop
The opening bout was a great one, Sam quickly took the fight to Torpor in what is sure to be a heated rivalry considering the Galactic Wars effect on Earth-Cygnus relations.

The Mensans defeated CrossCurrents via disqualification when Thetis attacked Trotarus while he had Vortex locked in the Mensan Lock
This was definetly the match of the night, both teams got the crowd on it's feet. The action was fast-paced and went back and forth several times, The Mensans had the match won until Thetis jumped Trotarus just as Vortex was ready to submit

Santon the Loner destroyed Jammer via Spike Piledriver
Jammer didnt have a chance, Santon jumped on him as soon as the bell rign and did not let up, the match was ended quickly with the Spike Piledriver

Paladin Power beat Torin Caelum & Ricken Prince via disqualification when Prince used Bow to the Prince on Solar Flare
This was another great tag bout that was an even match, Caelum gave Paladin Power some fits, but the match spilled outside and Paladin Power took over the advantage and Caelum was in trouble... Caelum managed to make the tag and Ricken Prince was in, but he quickly ended the match when he used Bow to the Prince thus getting dq'd

K.O. Keller defeated Blood via The Ten Count
This was a brutal and bloody match, Blood got a few good shots in, but Keller dominated much of the match and beat Blood to a pulp

Main Event

Omega & Morpheus beat Dorado Sundown with the Tomahawk Thrust on Blacklash
The first part of the match saw Dorado Sundown giving Morpheus a brutal beating, Dorado Sundown cut the ring off well by keeping Morpheus in their corner... as badly as they beat Morpheus, he would not stay down...eventually Morpheus managed to make his corner and tag in Omega who cleaned house on both members of Dorado Sundown and got the win after giving Blacklash the Tomahawk Thrust

Galactic Title Tournament


Omega & Morpheus once again welcomed fans to the Deimos Intergalactic Arena, thanking them for making their first official card a success. They stated tonight a tournament would be held to crown the first-ever Galactic Champion. They also announced that if support continues to increase, that the GWF will it's shows to 2 cards per month! With that they unveiled the Galactic Title and placed it on a pedastal at ringside, thus starting the tournament.

Round One

Solar Flare defeated Blood via a fallaway slam
This was a very close match, Solar Flare dazzled fans with his offensive attack, Blood was just as impressive with his smash-mouth style.

Commander Sam beat Torpor via Star Spangled Banner
Another meeting between these two and once again Sam gets the upper hand against the Cygnusian War Hero

Bullwhip thrashed Morpheus to get the win with Twelve O'Clock High
Morpheus didnt put up much of a fight against the Dorado Sundown member

Omega defeated Blacklash with a flying legdrop
Omega took the fight to the other member of Dorado Sundown and put him down quickly

Screw destroyed Trotarus with Freakish Face Slam
Screw was most impressive in his GWF debut making short work of the Mensan, Screw looks to be a force to be reckoned with in this tournament

K.O. Keller beat Torin Caelum via K.O. Flury
This was a tough battle between two of the toughest in the GWF, both men fought tooth and nail to try and advance, but in the end Keller put Caelum down for the count

Santon the Loner annihilated Ricken Prince with the Spike Piledriver
Prince was decimated in very short order... Santon seems to be a beast in the ring, this victory made him an odds on favorite to go all the way

Jammer put Moonstrike away with Bad Night
Jammer got the win in dominating fashion by getting the Bad Night and not letting up

Round Two

Solar Flare got by Commander Sam via disqualification when Sam rammed Flare into the ringpost
Flare's offensive seemed to frustrate Sam for much of the match, Sam managed to mount an offensive late, but got a bit carried away and cost himself the match

Omega put Bullwhip down with the Tomahawk Thrust
Omega breezed through the second member of Dorado Sundown in a short match, Omega looks to be another threat in this tournament

Screw devastated K.O Keller via Freakish Face Slam
In what was the shocker of the night, Screw just ran over Keller in very quick fashion. Keller did not even have a chance to get anything going

Santon the Loner decimated Jammer with a running clothesline
Once again Santon trounces Jammer, fans were drooling in anticipation knowing that in the semi-finals it was going to be Screw vs. Santon

Semi-Finals

Omega defeated Solar Flare via Tomahawk Thrust
This was the match of the tournament, both men put on a wrestling clinic with neither attaining a decisive advantage. Just when it looked like someone would be mounting an offensive the other would counter. Finally Solar Flare missed the Paladin Missile and Omega immediately hit the Tomahawk Thrust to advance to the finals

Santon the Loner beat Screw via Spike Piledriver
The match the fans anticipated between these two just didnt happen, as Screw started on offense, but Santon quickly turned the tide and stayed on the offensive for the remainder of the match and put him away to advance to the finals

Finals

Omega defeated Santon the Loner via Cosmic War Dance to become the first Galactic Champion
This was a battle of the titans... while it didnt surpass the Omega-Solar Flare encounter in the sem-finals, it came pretty close... Santon managed to put Omega down with the Spike Piledriver, but Omega managed to get a foot on the ropes... the match went back and forth a few times before Omega dodged a turnbuckle charge and immediately took advantage to wear Santon down before hitting the Cosmic War Dance for the victory and the title.

Next Card: November 14th, 2074 - GWF Tag Team Title Tournament
and coming in December.. Omega's first title defense... against Santon the Loner!

Galactic Tag Title Tournament


For the third GWF show the fans were treated to great tag-team wrestling. Eight teams were signed for this tournament and only one team would walk away with the Galactic Tag Titles.

Round One

Dorado Sundown beat CrossCurrents via disqualification when Thetis bodyslammed Bullwhip outside the ring

The Guardians (Omega & Morpheus) defeated The Mensans when Omega pinned Trotarus after the Cosmic War Dance

Torin Caelum & Ricken Prince beat K.O. Keller & Commander Sam when Ricken Prince pinned Sam after the Royal Decree

Defiance defeated Paladin Power when Blood pinned Solar Flare

Round Two

The Guardians beat Dorado Sundown when Omega pinned Blacklash after the Tomahawk Thrust

Torin Caelum & Ricken Prince defeated Defiance when Torin Caelum locked Blood in Caelum's Grip

Round Three

The Guardians beat Torin Caelum & Ricken Prince when Omega pinned Ricken Prince after the Tomahawk Thrust to win the Galactic Tag Team Titles.

Omega now holds two belts (Galactic Title & Galactic Tag), he is definetly the dominant force in the GWF. Can he retain the title next month when he faces Santon the Loner?

Commander Sam defeated Moonstrike via Star Spangled Banner

Morpheus beat Bullwhip via disqualification when Bullwhip bodyslammed him outside the ring

Screw beat K.O. Keller via disqualification when Keller slammed Screw into the ringpost

Torin Caelum & Ricken Prince beat Defiance via disqualification when Blood rammed Caelum into the ringpost

Galactic Title Match

Santon the Loner defeated Omega(c) via disqualification when Omega brawled with Santon outside the ring and blasted him with a chair

This card was a bit out of control with all the matches except the opening bout ended in DQ's. The next card is scheduled for 01/15/75 and will be rematches of those matches and all matches will be P.O.W. rules.

Omega announced that due to the overwhelming response the GWF was extending itself to two cards per month and that the next card will be on the 30th of January where He and Morpheus would be defending the Tag Titles against Dorado Sundown. He also announced that due to the many disqualifications on the last card that all the rematches would be under P.O.W. rules.

Solar Flare beat Commander Sam via the Paladin Missile [**]
~Sam may have beaten Moonstrike on the past card, but Solar Flare proved to be a bit too much for Sam

Morpheus defeated Bullwhip with the Trip To Hades [1/2*]
~Easy win for Morpheus, after the match Blacklash hit the ring and attacked Morpheus...Morpheus fought him off only to be attacked from behind by Bullwhip..both men beat Morpheus badly and whipped him inot the ropes and gave him a brutal double slingshot with a bullrope injuring Morpheus 4 cards

The Mensans beat Cross Currents when Vortex submitted to Cordsar's Mensan Lock [****1/2]
~Great match between these two teams, both teams turned the tide several times before the Mensans managed to wear Vortex down with frequent double-teaming

K.O. Keller defeated Screw with K.O. Flury [*****]
~Definetly the match of the evening...these two men are double tough and just will not stay down... Keller took 4 Freakish Face Slams, Screw took 5 heart punches before finally Keller was able to put him down for the three count in a very long but very exciting and brutal fight

Torin Caelum & Ricken Prince beat Defiance when Caelum pinned Jammer after a shoulderbreaker [1/2*]
~Jammer's luck continues to stink....

Galactic Title Match

Santon the Loner defeated Omega(c) with an atomic knee drop to capture the Galactic Title. [1/2*]
This was a quick shocker, Omega was definetly caught off-guard by Santon's attack and the fans were caught off guard by the quick win (snake eyes is a beotch)

The Ace makes his debut in the GWF against the Cygnus native. Good showing by the rookie getting the duke with a submission victory


Commander Sam beats K.O. Keller via STAR SPANGLED BANNER 4 stars!
AWESOME MATCH! The action was hot and went back and forth between these two brawlers. The fans came alive for this bout. Sam manages to get the hard fought victory over the POW veteran

Torin Caelum defeats Ricken Prince via CAELUM’S GRIP
Caelum catches the big man by surprise quickly and locks in his finisher to get the submission win


Defiance beat The Mensans via count out when Jammer piledrives Cordsar outside the ring
Jammer took out his frustrations over the last few cards out on the Mensans and piledrivers Cordsar on the concrete getting the count out victory.

Santon the Loner defeated Screw with SPIKE PILEDRIVER
This is the second meeting of these two bruisers, not as good as their first meeting but hard hitting none the less, Santon comes out on top in convincing fashion

Cross Currents beat Paladin Power via WATERY GRAVE on Solar Flare
Cross Currents manage to roll over the Titans in this one.

Galactic Tag Title Match
Dorado Sundown beat The Guardians© via RUSTLER’S STAMPEDE to win the titles
The Champs seemed a bit off their game tonight and Bullwhip & Blacklash capitalized on that, they managed to keep Morpheus busy with double teaming and keep him from making the tag.

Torpor continues to be the fed's whipping boy and takes a savage beating from Keller

Commander Sam defeats The Ace via powerslam
Sam schools the young rookie in this one. The Ace got in a couple of shots but Sam was in control for the majority of the bout

The Mensans beat Paladin Power via Mensan Lock on Solar Flare
The Mensans come back from their loss on the last card, this time handling Paladin Power with ease. Cordsar picks up the victory for his team in this one

Ricken Prince beat Screw via DQ after a bodyslam outside the ring
Hard hitting smash mouth match-up in this one, both men hit their finishers but neither would stay down long, Screw disregards the rules when the match goes outside and gets himself dq'd

Torin Caelum beat Santon the Loner via abdominal stretch
Santon had been riding a wave of victories here in the GWF but Caelum proved to be one hell of a challenge for him in this bout, Caelum simply outwrestled the brawler and made him submit

Defiance beat Cross Currents via countout
For the second card in a row Jammer and Blood seemed a bit more aggressive than they have been, this time the men from Thalassis were the victims, once again Jammer uses a piledriver outside the ring to get the count out victory over Thetis

Galactic Title Match
Morpheus defeats Omega© via TRIP TO HADES to win the title
Morpheus gets his shot at the big gold here in the fed and doesnt waste the opportunity against his sometime tag partner. The champion looked strong but Morpheus had a determination that couldnt be stopped. After a hard fought battle Morpheus managed to wear the champion down enough to give him a TRIP TO HADES and claim the gold.
