Dark Tides got right underway with the Scramble for the Holovision Championship.
A red mist began to fill the arena and Techno-Voodoo music began to pulse through sound system and Witchdocter stepped through a wall of flame and made his way to the ring. Witchdocter climbed into the ring and did a spin, staff extended, releasing more smoke and flame.
Radio Waves began to play and Odyssey made his way to the ring and seemed to phase in and out of space and time and in a blur reappeared on the top turnbuckle with arms raised high.Witchdocter vs Sycophant vs Scud vs Odyssey vs Nes KincaidWitchdocter and Odyssey started things off. The two men squared off and Odyssey used his superior speed to put the Witchdocter down early and scored a pin fall with the
CHRONOCASM. Just to secure things Odyssey dropped Witchdocter with a back brain kick as time ticked down. Next in...
"Never Fear....Scud Is Here!"
Scud's trademark music rumbled through the arena.Odyssey awaited Scud but was caught off guard as Scud dropped in behind him and scored a pin fall over the all-ready down Witchdocter with a Scud Missile to lay claim to the Holovision Championship. Odyssey spun around and launched an attack on Scud. Scud and Odyssey gave the fans a high flying, fast paced offensive fight, but Scud ended up on the outside of the ring and Witchdocter took advantage, hitting the
DEATH'S SPECTRUM on Odyssey to secure the pin. Before any other pin attempts could happen time ticked down and the fans awaited the next competitor.
"YOU CAN NOW MARK THE F*CK OUT!"
Kincaid's music hits and the New Schooler comes out cigarette in mouth and jawing with the fans before rolling under the bottom rope and jumping onto the second rope and flipping the fans off.This action cost him as Scud jumped up and yanked Kincaid to the outside and the two men brawled around the ring side area. Witchdocter and Odyssey also ended up on the outside and all four men were fighting for the advantage. The action returned to the ring and Sycophant made his entrance.
The view switches to a pre-recorded video of Sycophant as his music begins to play and the lights go dim.
Sycophant faces the camera from some undisclosed location. All around him are implements of torture.
Sycophant, "Seems I have a voice of my own now. Painmaster was under the assumption he was the leader of our little band of deviants. I tired of his failed attempts at claiming gold in this company. Painmaster's time is over and now The Sadist has been turned loose. I will teach the aCe the true meaning of pain. They will experience such levels of exquisite pain that they will learn what it truly means to be alive. I have such sights to show you."The camera fades and returns to the arena where Sycophant wearing a new outfit displaying a new level of horror.The battle was wild and time ticked away, Nes Kincaid hit the
MTFO on Witchdocter as Sycophant locked in a modified
TOURNIQUET rolling Scud into a pinning predicament and the referee made the count. Kincaid stood in celebration and Sycophant rose in victory as well. The ref looked flustered and both men were declared the winner. Kincaid began to argue with the referee and Sycophant took the opportunity to snatch Kincaid up into the Asphyxiation and choked the man out before The Bros. Oaken could make the save ending the match in controversy.
"Sorry About Your Damn Luck"
A hammer striking an anvil can be heard in the arena. Scorch and Esperanto marched out as a Esperanto's music began to play over the sounds of the hammering and flame bursts. The Regulators have reunited and are looking to put Hustler in his place.
The sounds of gunfire kick off and an urban theme music blares through the arena and Hustler makes his way to the ring through a select section of the crowd. Hustler jumps over the barricade and grabs a mic.
Hustler, "Let me school you guys. Long before the Battle for Centra, long before The Regulators, and long before 'All-Centra Entertainment'...there was Blue Steel! I've went back to my roots to my true brothers, and I've brought the meanest man on the streets, a pit fighting champion, and my Blue Steel brother.... Mack Calibur."A large man stands up in the front row and jumps the barricade and joins Hustler.
Hustler, "Now lets do this!"The Regulators vs Blue Steel[/color]
The match started with former friends and allies Scorch and Hustler. Scorch got in Hustler's face and Hustler slapped him. The anger showed on Scorch's face and he went back to yelling at Hustler who tried to shove him away and ate a knee for his trouble. Scorch beat on Hustler and hit the
TRAILBLAZER early but Hustler got a foot on the ropes to break the pin. Scorch tagged in Esperanto who continued the assault on hustler but missed a lariat giving Hustler the chance to tag in Calibur. Calibur immediately blasted Esperanto with four shots to the kidneys. As Esperanto was recovering Hustler distracted the referee as Mack clocked him with Glass Knucks and rolled him up for the pin giving Blue Steel the win. Scorch charged into the ring and got into a brawl with Mack Calibur but it was short lived as Hustler jumped the ropes and dropped Scorch with a Pistol Whip. Hustler stood over Scorch and spit on him before rolling from the ring followed by Mack Calibur and the two men left back through the fans.
The action switches backstage as a confrontation between Witchdocter and Pendragon escalated. Out of no where Dreadnaught charged after Pendragon but The Army of One dropped him with a stiff shot only to be ambushed by the return of Decaying Factor who under Witchdocter's orders beat Pendragon down. The two zombies held Pendragon up as Witchdocter conjured up his DEATH'S SPECTRUM but before he could release it, Aspin jumped him and The ArcAngels made their return and chased off Rot and Ruin. Witchdocter retreated with Dreadnaught in tow. Lance checked on the condition of Pendragon.
Mr. Bloat's organ music began to play and the maniac was led to the ring in chains. The guards released Bloat from his cuffs and he waited in the ring for Pendragon.
Pendragon limped out toward the ring to the roar of the crowd, but Lance stopped him as Aspin ran past and jumped into the ring. Before anyone could do anything Bloat attacked him and an impromptu match started.Mr. Bloat vs Aspin Northstar[/color]
Bloat punished the young man with several sadistic moves but the Soldier of Prophecy held his own and even with stood two applications of CRUEL AND UNUSUAL to make a comeback. Aspin used his speed to get Mr. Bloat in position for the
FLASH OF BRILLIANCE but the big man moved at the last moment letting Aspin crash to the mat and applied a third
CRUEL AND UNUSUAL which made Aspin submit. Guards rolled into the ring and had to beat Mr. Bloat off of Aspin and re-cuffed him and dragged him away in chains as Lance attended to his protege.
Paganax's music began to blare and flames erupted on the stage and The Heathen Chief stepped out followed by The Fallen. Paganax pointed at the ring and Krypt and Jackyll ran toward the ring and Paganax leaped into the air and cleared the ramp and landed next to the ring as flames trailed him. The Tribes of Primus awaited The Dominion.
Screams of Terror could be heard as the lights dimmed and smoke filled the stage area along with flames on each side. All three members of The Dominion swaggered out and headed to the ring with an air of confidence.Tribes of Primus vs The Dominion[/color]
Paganax let his minions take the brunt of the damage and it seemed only the fans saw Paganax grow visible in size and gain muscle as his skin began to cast of steam. Krypt and Jackyll took a beating from Darkseed and Nightmare before Godsend was tagged in. The Fallen gained the advantage and hit Godsend with the
BLOOD MOON but the pin was broken up. Paganax practically burst into flames as he slapped Krypt for the tag and leapt onto Godsend. The former demon backed away and tagged in Nightmare. Nightmare tried go on the offense but was caught with a boot to the face as Paganax let out a Primal Scream before picking the wizard of shadows for the
PAGAN VOID. As Paganax hooked in the pin, it was no surprise that Godsend was backing up the ramp and after the pin Darkseed dragged Nightmare from the ring and The Dominion retreated after losing the first battle of the brewing feud.
Video is played of the many accomplishments of the debuting Zeta Grey and the wanderer made his way out to the ring and after whipping his feet at the ropes stepped inside to await Totalis in this best of seven challenge.
Cosmic Olympian music began playing and Totalis rose from the center of the stage and did a turn with arms extended before heading tot he ring getting an ovation of cheers from the fans after making a stand against The Amazing Mann, who has managed to distance himself from the fans. Totalis stepped into the ring with some flare before making another turn in the ring before facing his opponent.Totalis vs Zeta Grey[/color]
Totalis was thrown by the sheer talent Zeta Grey exhibited and was throughly shocked after Zeta Grey performed his
SHADES OF GREY finisher which was a very similar move to the
FINAL ROUND. Totalis recovered though and hit the
FINAL ROUND with emphasis to secure the win. Totalis dropped to the mat and was yelling something at Zeta Grey that the mic could not pick up before exiting the ring in a fury after picking up win number one.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Primeval Destruction's music thumped through the sound system. Warfare and Hybrid stormed the ring and jumped on opposite turnbuckles arms raised, Warfare crossed his hammers as the crowned went wild.
The Bros. Oaken's New School music began and the aCe Champions made their way to the ring and payed no attention to the boos from the crowd, although there was a small section that cheered the best damn tag team in the aCe by far. Rorus and Donk took off the straps and handed them to the referee who held them up for all to see and rang the bell.The Bros. Oaken vs Primeval Destruction[/color]
Rorus had things well in hand before dumping Warfare to the outside. Rorus tried to go after him but the referee tried to restrain him and missed the war-hammer that caught Rorus right between the eyes knocking him cold. Warfare rolled back into the ring and gave Hybrid the order to attack Donk as he made the pin to make Primeval Destruction the New aCe Essence Tag Champions. Warfare ripped the belts from the ref's hands and handed one to hybrid as Donk helped his brother to the back and Primeval Destruction celebrated the title win.
The Amazing Mann made his way to the ring in classic style using his disappearing and reappearing trick and held the belt up high in both hands inside the ring.
The lights take on a green tinge as a Ravager/Techno music begins to play. Nicodemus steps out on stage, the Shock Syndicate flanking him and starts toward the ring. Nicodemus climbs into the ring after posing on the top turnbuckle. Nicodemus faced The Amazing Mann and something weird began to happen as the image of Nicodemus began to distort as if he was nothing but a hologram, as the image fell away a young man in a techno-wired outfit stood across the ring smirking.
Neuromancer, "Ha, ha, ha...You guys really thought Nicodemus was back? That's just one the the great things about technology, you can look like anyone you want. Not only did I fool Ventross, Nemean, and The Others, but I not only brought them together to fight for me while I scouted the aCe, I orchestrated their break-up and Omni's banishment. Now I use what I have learned to take the One Essence from you and show everyone that your not so 'Amazing'."With that Neuromancer dropped the mic and squared off with The Amazing Mann.The Amazing Mann vs Neuromancer[/color]
This match was a true epic that saw both go the distance. Neuromancer hit a Neowave and tried for the pin but Mann was able to kick out and went on the offense and after several moves he wore Neuromancer down and tried to lock in
UNBREAKABLE but was unable to lock it in fully and Neuromancer escaped. The fast pasted battle continued and the action spilled to the outside. Mann lost the fight on the outside and Neuromancer tossed Mann back into the ring and hit the
TECHNO SYNDROME, dropping Mann on his face and becoming the new aCe One Essence Champion. The entire arena was shocked as the newcomer came out of nowhere to not only beat The Amazing Mann cleanly, but became the aCe Champion in his debut match.
Neuromancer strapped on the belt and the circuit designs on his suit blazed before subsiding and the show went off the air as The Syndicate star celebrated his win while Mann argued with the referee about the decision.
