Xenia takes out Desdemona quickly with knee shots to the chin followed by mounted punches - Xenia by KO(mounted punches)

Akuma(1-1) vs. Hellfire(0-0)
This match starts out slow with the ref having to stand both men up several times during the first round. Hellfire kicks it up a notch in the second round with repeated headbutts followed by soccer kicks the body for the win

Talon(0-2) vs. Matinee Idol(0-3)
Both men fought hard for their fist victory. Talon took control of the action halfway through the match and forced Matinee Idol to tap out to a rear naked choke. Matinee Idol falls to 0-4 the worst record in POW

Hanuman(0-0) vs Gunnar(0-1)
This was a pretty even match with lots of action. Gunnar got his first victory with a right to head, left to stomach

Mike Fortune comes out swinging with wild jabs and uppercuts to the body taking Shylock by surprise and knocking him off his feet. Shylock unsuccessfully tries to make Fortune submit to a Kimura Armlock and Guillotine Choke. Fortune hits Shylock with a brutal belly to belly throw for the KO

The crowd is really behind Smooth as he makes his entrance escorted by his mother/manager Olivia Swinden. At the beginning of the match Smooth takes a last look at his mother and walks to the center of the ring standing idly as Mensar takes him out with a left/right combo for the win

Sweet Card CC! Okay, here is my match by match commentary... so, grab a drink and sit back and get ready for a mental brain wipe afterwards...huh? What? Oh, never mind....

-Rhiannon has NEVER done anything in any of my feds and the only decent thing that Xenia has done was to change her name to "Bambi" and hang out with the Good Ol' boys...anyway, I digress-surprised Rhiannon won this one actually.

-NO WAY! Qzetual won against Marlowe?!?!?!? Shenanigans...I call, Sheenigans! That's right I said it...

-I actually like the team of King's Men and the Punks...good match up!

-Sweet! Mike Fortune put the hurt on that overgrown sissy aka Saboteur! May the Hitman have a long title reign!

- Poor JJ Smooth! Mensar is awesome and Smooth was just outclassed...

POW NEWS

Faustus Grael announced earlier today the due to ratings issues he's decided to make some big changes in POW. Here's a list of the major changes

1. Instead of singles competition POW will be changed to a team concept. Each team will consist of 2 super heavyweights, 2 heavyweights, 2 cruiserweights, and a team leader/manager. Each team will face the opposing teams four times during the season. The team with the best record at the end of the year will crowned the champions. 2 more teams will be added at the end of the first season.

2. Whenever a champion is in a team fight against an opponent from his weight class it will be considered a title match

3. The official POW titles are super heavyweight, heavyweight, and cruiserwieght. The tag team and ladies titles have been retired

4. A new inter weight title will created. Tournament will be held to crown the new champion with one fighter from each team

This is new direction for POW and more changes are likely to be added as the season progresses

Your team choices are very interesting. No Saboteur, Conundrum, Thayne or Ahnu to name a few; that is VERY surprising.

I would dump Romulus for Thayne for certain. Thayne is an absolute beast! I would probably drop Scion Nexus for Ahnu too; though, I'm just down on Nexus' mma card. Maybe dump Hellfire for Ahnu & move either him or Thayne to a different team.

If you put Thayne on Splatter's team, they have an excellent shot at winning every single title.

Team USA's strongest area is the cruiserweights. Which is where you will get your best fights from. If I were Guy Andrews, I would drop everyone but my cruisers & look for other talent.

Team Swinden is solid in heavyweight & cruiserweight but if Shylock & Stigma go down to injury the team will be hit or miss.

Team Killer Queen is very interesting & will probably turn out to be the second best team; Mensar & Hanuman are both solid; I'm really high on Excalibur, even though he choked in his big shot for me. I really like his new card. Then you have Zed "charging knee" Marlowe. Between my fed & Dharneth's fed, this guy knocks people out.

If I had to rank them out, this is how they would fall:
1. Splatter's Team 2. Killer Queen's Team 3. Swinden's Team (based solely on Shylock & Stigma) 4. Guy Andrew's Team

I can't wait to see how this works out for you.

I would dump Nero & Indigo for Saboteur & Conundrum.

I would move Puma & Rubicon to different teams so they can fight each other. If you need any proof of their matches do a search in Mr. Hyde's fed for Puma vs. Rubicon or Puma vs. Rubicon II. In the second one, Trent Lawless & I got tossed across the arena by Rubicon because we were chanting "we're hardcore! we're hardcore!" A good moment for me & for Mr. Lawless too.

The teams are definitely interesting. I agree with Eliath on his suggestions for teams and unless you have something else planned, the absence of Saboteur will be felt. I'm not entirely sure if your using the newest guys yet since I don't recall seeing Conundrum, Raven, and the others.

Marlowe is the man! He is just off to a bad start in your fed.
