OFC Press Conference

The press waited in an area below a podium with the letters OFC emblazoned in red across the front.

Faustus Grael made a rare appearance flanked by President Prodigy and Commissioner Splatter. Grael stepped to the podium to address the crowd.

Faustus, "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have had a successful Revival and have brought MMA back into the forefront of Sports Entertainment. It is my pleasure to lift the ban on teams and see who aligns with who as the Doubles Championship will be reinstated and Countdown to Destruction in a one night tournament. Are there any opening questions?"

Interviewer #1, "So what happened to the men released?"

Faustus, "Some of those men have petitioned for another opportunity and I'm pleased to announce Gordo and T.K. are being allowed to stay on. "

Interviewer #2, "Any new prospects?"

Splatter fields the question, "I have sent out scouts to several locations in the universe to seek out new talent for the OFC. Expect to see some of these new acquisitions at the PPV."

Faustus, "Anymore questions? Time is short and I would like to introduce the OFC roster."

Interviewer #3, "With so many coming in and partnerships forming how will you deal with the new team dynamic in a MMA federation?"

Prodigy, "We still expect competitors under the OFC flag to be ready to compete with anyone at any time. We are making some concessions to this but we won't go into any real detail. As for fights, they will now take place in a cage. We are also looking into reinstating the weight classes as a way to intensify combat. More on this as it develops."

Faustus, "That's enough questions. I give you the OFC!"

In the wake of the announcement Talisman pulled together a group with T.K. and a huge man known as The Zealot. In a surprise move Talisman was able to recruit Indigo back to his cause. Not to be outdone yet another renegade True Way member joined Absalom and Raze in their quest to expose Talisman as a fraud.

Fans were in shock after the attack on Cypher and Stigma by the new comer Conundrum. Pendekar provided even more of a shock when he rushed to Cypher's aid. Now the two will form a team to directly oppose Conundrum and Stigma.

Onami has returned and re-aligns himself with fellow Jardill native and current OFC Champion Ahnu. The two are tasked in taking Thayne out permanently. Thayne received an unlikely ally in another Jardill native as the monk Konari saved him from serious injury and was given a death sentence.

Saboteur almost achieved his dream of revenge on Shylock after trapping the man in the ring surrounded by his two cohorts...Sentinel and Assassin X. The three men advanced on Shylock with murder in their eyes when Zed Marlowe charged the ring and using a chain was able to fend the Assassins off until security could get involved. Upon hearing of Assassin X's entrance into the OFC Eclipse made a return and petitioned Shylock for the opportunity to join his team. Shylock accepted and one has to wonder what the connection is between Assassin x and Eclipse.

Raven made his return and faced Jack of Diamonds in his retirement match. Jack was successful and instead of leaving Raven approached a former enemy in Quetzal and proposed a partnership. Quetzal agreed and Raven began mentoring the young man. Things got bad quick though as Rubicon has snapped but was able to gain a measure of control over Puma. The two synthetic Animen look to maul their competition and attacked the two men they still saw as enemies sparking a feud between these four again.

Upon his announcement he was leaving the OFC Jack made sure Scion Nexus would continue to support Excalibur and fine tune the raw potential of the big man. Saboteur looks to capture the prize that Shylock lost claiming he will steamroll Ahnu. Ahnu was stoney silent during the weigh in but gave Saboteur a look of pure hatred.

'Fists of Steel' Shylock vs Conundrum
Shylock plans to welcome the debuting Conundrum with a knock-out blow. Conundrum views Shylock as an obstacle to plow through on his way to Cypher.

In a special exhibition match featuring all six men Jack is looking to get this feud off on the right foot by giving these teams the chance to prove whos better on their first night together.

Konari vs Onami
Blood will be spilled in an OFC Blood Match. Onami has stated he will leave a corpse in the ring after he is done with the Jardill traitor.

I look for The Assassin to win the title; Shylock to pull off the victory; The Guard, Birds, Zed/Eclipse & King's Court to all advance with Zed/Eclipse winning it all; Not sure about Cypher - Stigma...I will pick Stigma; I'll go with The True Way because of The Zealot; Finally I think I will take Onami.

This card will be absolutely brutal. I can't wait!!

Thayne vs 'The Original Outlaw' Jack Hood
Results : Jack Hood by KO with a hammer fist.[/color]
Thayne and Hood traded blows at the start. Soon Hood took Thayne to the mat and used the cage to keep him on the ground and KOed Thayne with a savage hammer fist.

Dante vs Euritar
Results : Euritar by KO with the Merciless[/color]
This fight never left the standing position as Dante punished Euritar with kicks. Euritar was backed into the cage but came out with a jab and finished the fight with back to back Merciless

Crucible vs Pendekar
Results : Pendekar by KO with a drop seoinage[/color]
Pendekar schooled Crucible and although he got in a couple of offensive attempts, Pendekar put him away quickly.

Onami vs Konari (Blood Match)
Results : Konari beats Onami by Blood.[/color]
Konari left no doubt about his fighting skills as he caught Onami with a roundhouse kick that caused Onmai's nose to explode and gush blood. The referee stopped the fight and Konari was declared the victor. Onami's eyes burned with fury as he held his ruined nose as Konari exited the cage.

Stigma vs Cypher
Results : Stigma by KO with an overhand right.[/color]
This was a fantastic fight! Both fighters immediately took the match to the mat and jockeyed for position. Stigma outmaneuvered Cypher and shifted to the clinch position. Stigma dominated Cypher for several moments with caught Cypher with a shot that forced a temporary stoppage as Cypher's cut man checked on a gash above his eye. No one noticed as Stigma's partner Conundrum slipped something through the cage and when the match was restarted Stigma floored Cypher with a devastating overhand right.

The Dissidents vs The True Way (6 Man Bout)
Results : T.k. by Tap Out on Benedict with a bicep slicer.[/color]
The Zealot got things going by bum rushing Benedict and soon the other four paired off. There was a switch and raze came over the top of Benedict to attack The Zealot. Raze delivered a few shots but The Zealot just shrugged them off and nearly put Raze out. The action shifted and focused on Absalom and Indigo. Absalom crushed Indigo and put him on the mat. The action slowed down as neither man could get a clear advantage and the action shifted again. T.K. hit Benedict with a right hook, left kick combo that put the man on the mat. T.K. quickly followed up and after mounting the big man locked in a bicep slicer and before anyone could aid him, Benedict was forced to tap giving the True Way the first victory in this war of ideals.

Doubles Tournament

Pure Rage vs Zed & Eclipse
Results : Zed by KO on Rubicon with mounted punches.[/color]
Rubicon mauled Zed in the opening moments and soon mounted Zed to deliver some elbows and knees to the ribcage. Zed was fading under this attack and Eclipse came charging over to hit Rubicon with a stiff kick giving Zed the advantage. The Prince of Pain mounted the stunned Rubicon and finished the monster off with some mounted punches.
*Rubicon came into the match clearly preoccupied with something else and was distracted from his task*

The Birds of Prey vs The Punks
Results : Raven by KO on Romulus with a shoot and double leg slam.[/color]
Raven took Taurine to the mat quickly but as the action slowed the focus switched to Quetzal and Romulus. Romulus rocked Quetzal with a huge punch but before he could capitalize Raven came in with a flying knee. Raven followed up with a double leg pick-up and slam that bounced Romulus' head off the mat and dimmed his lights.

Good 'Ol Boys vs The Guard
Results : Assassin X by TKO on Silas with a karate thrust to throat.[/color]
Sentinel feinted a shoot take down and distracted him from the real attack. Assassin X blindsided Silas with a thrust to the throat that dropped him to his knees choking. The referee stopped the bout and called in the medics as The Guard left the cage.
*Silas injured for 6 cards with a crushed larynx*

The King's Court vs The MVPs
Results : Buddy Garner by Tap Out with the Americana.[/color]
Tomas floored Excalibur and there was a temporary stoppage as Excalibur's neck was checked on after a guillotine choke. When the match was restarted the action was on Nexus and Garner. The match was ended when Garner trapped Nexus in the Americana and forced the Tap Out.

Zed & Eclipse vs The Birds of Prey
Results : Zed by KO with a charging knee.[/color]
In a display of dominance, Zed caught Raven with a charging knee to open and end the bout. 'The Prince of Pain' is quickly becoming the 'King of One Shots'.

The Guard vs The MVPs
Results : Sentinel by KO with a straight right.[/color]
In yet another dominate performance, Sentinel caught Buddy Garner with a straight right to KO the man in another one shot match.

The Guard vs Zed & Eclipse
Results : Assassin X by KO with a front kick.[/color]
Great bout with lots of exchanges and back and forth action. The end came when Assassin came over the top of Sentinel saving the big man from a key lock and delivering a front kick to the seated Eclipse's temple knocking the man cold. The Guard are awarded the Doubles Championship belts by Commissioner Splatter who congratulates both men.

Conundrum vs 'Fists of Steel' Shylock
Results : Conundrum by Tap Out with a guillotine choke.[/color]
Conundrum shocked the OFC fans by getting a tap out victory over Shylock in his debut. Conundrum set Shylock up and ducked a punch to hit his own left hook, straight right combo before shoulder-butting him into the cage. Conundrum shot in and took Shylock to the mat with a double leg take down and applied a guillotine choke wrenching back hard and getting forcing Shylock to tap. Conundrum wasn't done though and before he released Shylock from the choke he whispered something to the man before decking him with a wicked looking glove leaving Shylock laying as blood pooled around his head.

'The Tribal Terror' Ahnu(c) vs 'The Assassin' Saboteur
Results : Saboteur by TKO[/color]
Saboteur came out with a superman punch but Ahnu was ready and caught Saboteur coming in with a combo opening a cut above The Assassin's eye forcing a temporary stoppage. Saboteur shoved the men aside and continued the fight and payed Ahnu back in kind by opening him up and forcing another stoppage. After these opening shots the fight was truly on and the two men battered each other. Saboteur caught Ahnu with a kick and rushed in to finish the job by delivering repeated knee shots to the champions skull against the cage until the referee was forced to stop the match and award Saboteur the victory making him the new OFC Champion. Saboteur celebrated his win as the new OFC Doubles Champions, The Guard came out and joined him. In one night The Assassin's Guild has dominated the OFC.

The Assassin's Guild was TRUELY dominant tonight...I thought they would win but WOW!

Conundrum made a STATEMENT with Shylock...hell yea!

I can't BELIEVE Hood KO'd Thayne...He's better than that!!!

I can't wait for the next show!!! GREAT CARD!!!!
