Having Sycophant/Bloat turn on Painmaster was a great idea.

Ventross seems like he may take the title against The Amazing Mann but I'm rooting for man. The men you had are definetly the top tier of the aCe and the Triple Threat did not disappont.

Zeta Grey lost to Totalis in his debut in my fed but put on a solid showing. Since I decided a long time ago that the Final Round was the Angle Slam its going to lead into an interesting finishers feud for the two.

High Velocity #008

The show opened with the announcement of the upcoming aCe PPV: Dark Tides. The first announced match on the PPV will be The Amazing Mann defending the Essence against #1 contender Ventross. It was also announced that The Dominion would be facing off against Paganax and two partners of his choosing. It was speculated if Paganax would be able to compete due to injuries suffered at the hands of Godsend and Co.

Also announced was that due to testimony from both Mr Bloat and Sycophant, Painmaster was arrested and charged with attempted murder from the assassination attempt on Tiber Callisto VII aka Peacemaker. Due to these circumstances Painmaster has been released from his aCe contract.

Decaying Factor w/Witchdoctor vs. Scud & Soulwatcher
Scud came to the ring with The Soulwatcher, who hasnt been seen in ages...Scud stated tonight he would get some payback on Decaying Factor... then "Reign in Blood" began to play and Decaying Factor were lead to the ring by The Witchdoctor. Scud managed to get a measure of offense in and hit CRASH & BURN twice on Ruined but the big man would not stay down, Rot was tagged in and he ripped thru Scud like soggy paper and crushed him against the ringpost to get the count out win.

Backstage Esperanto and Scorch are trying to reach their partner Hustler on the holocell but he isnt answering... Scorch says he is probably hanging out with his "gang banging buddies" again and that he needs to be "straightened out" Esperanto tells Scorch to calm down and that he will step in for Hustler tonight in their tag match with The House of Pain.

The Amazing Mann vs. The Witchdoctor
aCe officials made sure that Decaying Factor were taken from ringside before the match began which didnt please Witchdoctor at all. Perhaps Witchdoctor couldve used them to his advantage as the Essence Champion DOMINATED him and quickly put him away with The Prestige in this warm up before the PPV

House of Pain vs. The Regulators
Though it wasnt the usual team of Scorch & Hustler, The Regulators didnt miss a step with Esperanto. Esperanto pummeled Sycophant and picked up the win for the team with DEAD MAN'S HAND.

Zeta Grey vs. Darkseed
This was a great match between The Dominion's Enforcer and the aCe newcomer. Darkseed overpowered Zeta Grey several times during the bout but Grey managed to counter many big moves and keep pace with the Demon. Zeta picks up another win after several Reticulum Stomps.

On the Centra-Tron the words "THE SYNDICATE'S TOP MAN IS COMING... DARK TIDES"

The Regulators are seen going into the parking lot where they run into Hustler talking with a group of people who look to be gang members... Esperanto tries to stop Scorch but Scorch shoves past him and grabs Hustler's shoulder spinning him around...

Scorch: We had a tag match tonight and you were a no show... not to mention you deserted me last week...what's your problem?

A man gets into Scorch's face...

Man: Yo mutha[censored], who the [censored] you think you are gettin' up in my boy's grill like that?

Scorch: Better tell you're lil' gang banger buddy to back up before I split his skull right now..

Hustler: It's cool Mack... I got this...

Mack: You done [censored] up potnah... You dont want none of Blue Steel [censored]

Scorch: Your homeboy here got some mouth on him...

Hustler: And he can back it up too... You need to back the [censored] up, I forgot bout tonight and last week... well...I had somethin to do and I thought you had your bidness handled homie... guess not...

Scorch: I bet you forgot... I guess you can take the thug out of the streets but cant take the street out of the thug... Shock Syndicate vs. Primeval Destruction
This match didnt take long to degenerate into an all out brawl that caused the ref to throw the match out as both teams brawled to the back

"It's Time to Mark The [censored] Out"
Nes Kincade came out and debuted his new talk show The New School Yard, his first gues was # 1 contender to the Essence Title, Ventross!

Ventross: Amazing Mann, enjoy your reign as Essence Champion... because this sunday at Dark Tides it will be a MERCY KILLING that's going to put the brakes on your UNBREAKABLE TOUR...

Nes Kincade: Seriously, you gotta be [censored] me... You come onto my show, waste my time rambling on about some circus sideshow freak and taking his title? Im the man with the REAL title...

Kincade holds up the Holovision Title in Ventross' face

Nes Kincade:The Holovision Title, a title made just for a man like myself, someone who gives the fans what they want...not some title with hokey pokey powers... that match is going to be a snooze fest...kinda like your other matches...

Ventross grabs Kincade by the collar and lifts him up...

Ventross: Listen little man... I have not the time nor patience to deal with an insigificant little bug like yourself... you want to interrupt and disrespect me? You are taking your life into your own hands... next time... I will be giving you a MERCY KILLING

Ventross shoved Kincade hard to the floor and storms off...

Nes Kincade ducks around his desk...

Kincade: You just messed up jack... watch your back... New School is coming and class is going to be in session...

Lance At-Las vs. Godsend
Lance gave Godsend fits in this match and it wasnt long before Godsend called for The Dominion... Darkseed and Nightmare stormed the ring and attacked Lance... suddenly darkness fell and there was a loud Explosion... lava jets shot up to the ceiling as Paganax came out onto the entrance ramp along with Jakyll & Krypt!!! The Heathen Chief pointed to the ring and The Fallen stormed to the ring like rabid beasts with Paganax walking down behind them..his eyes never leaving Godsend's. The Dominion made a hasty retreat as Paganax and his trusted minions stalked the ringside area.

Arch Angels vs. The Bros. Oaken
Hard fought match by both teams in this one...however The Oakens fought a bit harder and got the win when Donk pinned Gabriel after a flying cross body off the top rope.
Winners: The Bros Oaken

The Amazing Mann was interviewed backstage and stated that the chances of Ventross beating him "were highly unlikely" and that he will be just another victim of The Unbreakable Tour.

Nightmare vs. Pendragon
Nightmare kept close watch to make sure that Paganax and his minions were nowhere around...though distracted for much of the match he managed to get the duke over Pendragon with the Demon Dreamscape

Nemean vs. Aspin Northstar
Great match between these two youngsters... however, Nemean's insults from last week may have given Aspin the fuel he needed as he put Nemean down with the FLASH OF BRILLIANCE
Winner: Aspin Northstar

Avarice vs. Totalis
Totalis seems to be slumping as Avarice managed to handle him with ease... Totalis did get some offense in but not enough to make a difference and one 7TH SIN later Avarice climbed another notch towards the Essence Title.

Before the show we see Esperanto and Scorch backstage, they bust into Hustler's lockerroom and find him there with Mack Calibur and a couple females, drinking and smoking illegal substances... Scorch loses his cool and begins to berate Hustler... Mack Calibur gets into his face..Scorch pushes him down and Hustler jumps up and pushes Scorch... Esperanto tries to split them up but Mack Calibur blindsides him with a 40oz bottle over the head..Scorch tosses Hustler out the picture window as Mack nails him with a right hook...finally security splits them apart.. Hustler states that he is done with The Regulators...

Match Notes: The Syndicate's top new man was evealed to be a newcomer named Neuromancer. The newcomer managed to impress the fans with his high velocity offense and aerial attacks. His finisher, TECHNO SYNDROME looks to be one of the mos effective in aCe.

Nes Kincade vs. Zeta Grey
for the aCe Holovision Championship
Nes Kincade defeated Zeta Grey with a MTFO! at 6:33
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: Zeta Grey has been impressing those in the front office of aCe and an early shot at the Holovision Title seems to be proof of this. Zeta gave Kincade the match of his career but in the end Kincade proved to be very crafty and got the win with the MTFO to retain the title.


Primeval Destruction vs. Shock Syndicate
Warfare defeated Flatliner with an EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT at 8:05
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: Very brutal match between two smash mouth teams, front row fans had to scatter as the fight got very close to the crowd.

Jakyll, Krypt, and Paganax vs. Nightmare, Godsend, and Darkseed
Paganax defeated Godsend with a PAGAN VOID at 13:37
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: The fans were jacked to see The Fallen return to aCe and even more thrilled to see them after Godsend's band of merry demons. Paganax's injuries did not slow hin down in the slightest. He managed to finally get his hands on Godsend and pummel him mercilessly.

Totalis vs. Nemean
Totalis defeated Nemean with a FINAL ROUND at 7:58
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: These two put on one hell of a show, this was a true crowd pleaser and just may have stolen the show. The crowd wasnt sure who they would get behind and alternating name chants could be heard in the Megadome.

Avarice vs. Aspin Northstar
Avarice defeated Aspin Northstar with a count out at 1:47
Match Rating: 0.00
Match Notes: This was very short as Avarice blindsided Northstar and knocked him off the apron where he clotheslined himself on the guardrail and could not return to the ring in time.

The Others vs. The Brothers Oaken
for the aCe Tag Team Championship
Omni defeated Rorus Oaken with a CHRONOCHASM at 10:27
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: this match originally started as a triple threat with The Regulators in the mix...however, Hustler and Mack Calibur hit the ring and attacked Esperanto & Scorch...both teams brawled all the way to the docking bays...The Bros Oaken and the Champions, The Others finished the match, The Oakens come close but The Others show exactly why they rule the aCe tag roost.


The Amazing Mann vs. Ventross
for the aCe Championship
The Amazing Mann defeated Ventross with an UNBREAKABLE at 9:18
Match Rating: 3.25
Match Notes: This was an evenly matched contest... Ventross' sheer power against The Amazing Mann's agility and all around prowess. It would not be Ventross' night however as The Amazing Mann managed to counter a gut buster and make a quick comeback and lock on UNBREAKABLE.

After the match Nes Kincade came out and ordered The Oaken Bros to storm the ring and viciously assualt Ventross. The Amazing Mann lent a hand in the beatdown and left Ventross in a heap. Kincade grabbed the mic and ran down Ventross "I warned you last week that school was in session .... consider yourself dismissed bitch!"

As The Amazing Mann walked backwards up the entrance ramp with a huge grin he backed into someone else... Mann quickly turned around and came face to face with Avarice who was smiling and pointing the the aCe Championship.
