Josh and I will be having our CPC/POW draft at the end of September. We will each be selecting 3 singles wrestlers to compete in the draft (along with 2 tag-teams -- that one is easy for me -- GOOD 'OL BOYS and THE PUNKS).
Since the CPC/POW usually has only 1 or 2 newcomers, winning the draft is very important. Please help me choose the path to victory. I will honor this poll and use the wrestlers THAT YOU CHOOSE. I will post the draft fight results once they occur.

That would have been my 3-pack if I had just gone the simple route, but so far this has been much more fun watching the votes accumulate. I may have to do this for the GWF draft next summer as well, and the Zone draft now that I think of it Thank you for voting so far to everyone who has participated, please keep votes coming!!

I'll close the poll on the 15th, so anyone who hasn't voted, please do. If it makes any difference, my guess is that Josh will be using Shylock, Rubicon, and probably either Dante, Pendekar, or Euritar.
With the close vote for the 3rd spot, I may have to schedule a challenge match if things end up tied.

Here's the skinny:
The 1st match in the Draft Showdown saw SABOTEUR comeback to defeat PENDEKAR after recovering from 2 SOTO MAKIKOMI's, to hit back-to-back VENGEANCE IS MINE, followed by EYE FOR AN EYE to secure the victory. The next match saw ZED MARLOWE dominant SHYLOCK, softening him up with 3 Heir to the Throne's into the MARLOWE VICE for a very fast and convincing win. In what turned out to be the final match of the night, MENSAR destroyed RUBICON by starting out with the G-Force DDT, getting a quick pin attempt, followed by HOSTILE TAKEOVER, which RUBICON shockingly kicked out of. Undeterred, MENSAR immediately scored another HOSTILE TAKEOVER to secure TEAM RENO the #1 pick in the CPC/POW 2123 draft with 3-0 win.
Here's hoping that CONUNDRUM is a beast, and that there will be an odd number of rookies this year (3 would be great, and a big draft class by recent CPC/POW standards). With 2 long-time stars retiring (J.O.D. and ??), there may be some spots for new blood this year. No matter how the picks turn out, the new set should rock the house as per usual, as the previews have been out of this world thus far.
Thanks again to everyone who participated in our little corner of the galaxy. Keep the dice rolling everyone.

Here's hoping that CONUNDRUM is a beast, Let's just say he should be able to hang with the POW's elite. Perhaps more than that... Glad it worked out for you. Josh, sorry about your luck...
