COTGonline: Endgame's eyes

So I was thinking...

Totalis looks unique because he's got the costume, but Endgame looks so much like Silver Surfer in his current color form.

What do you guys think about tweaking the color of Endgame's eyes? By default Totalis would change too because both guys are aliens from the planet Corvus.

I think new brightly colored eyes would do the trick of really seperating these types of aliens from the Silver Surfer looking guy.

Imagine pure green, blue, pink or some other color. Might be really cool and would add some depth to the race of these aliens who I find really neat.

Anyhow, if there is enough interest in recoloring, we'll do it. We could say the planet Corvus is giving off strange rays into outer space and all natives of the planet experienced the change in eye color...maybe the phenomenon happens every so often and we get more different colored Corvus eyes down the line.

Osk, to be honest, when I first heard about the GWF guys being colorized, I was hoping you all would stay away from Endgame being silver because it would seem like a Silver Surfer knockoff.

I was hoping for him being gold, since he was such a decorated champion, always having some sort of gold around his waist, I thought the gold look (instead of silver) would have fit him pretty well.

Agreed, but you have to understand that when it came to the big boys of New Beginning, Tom's vision was carried out.

So this Tom guy, was he a big fan of Marvel comics when he was growing up or something?

Haha, pure green could be great! Although I think Totalis eyes might be gold, since that's all he cares about.

I like Jmello's line of thinking. Maybe their eyes are like mood rings and depending on their temperament the color changes.

Ive never really thought of Endgame like Silver Surfer, even though I thought of him as silver.

I like the color idea, with maybe a different color pair of eyes based on what section of Corvus one was born?

I like the gold eyes idea.

Just curious Todd, when Endgame (his SE card, before he was official) first came in, he seemed to have a lot of the Totalis mentality.

I never really heard anything, but why the sudden change for Endgame's demeanor? Is that what his race is like (like Totalis) and Endgame had this enlightened moment

Yeah, I think he was...

With Switchblade (which I was left to my own devices), I made sure we made him blonde and gave him a costume that avoided all confusion.
