Well, someone has to do it...
I have had an unhealthy obsession with the Dallas Cowboys since my dad (also afflicted with Cowboys-itis) first taught me who Roger Staubach was way back when I was but a wee lad. The ensuing years have been filled with the type of disappointing, shattering, soul crushing, devastating, most ridiculous types of losses that only a Cowboys (and maybe a Red Sox) fan can appreciate. The mere mention of the name Dwight Clark still brings a tear to my eye! 1-15 in 1989 is nothing compared to that one bad quarter against the 49ers that interrupted the "dynasty", or Tony Romo's muffed field goal debacle or that playoff loss to the Giants a few seasons ago, or...
Such is my obsession with this team that I burdened my son with the middle name of "Dallas", and he too now suffers from Cowboy-itis as well. Poor guy was born in 1996, and though he was born into a world where the Cowboys ruled, he only knows the words "dominant" and "World Champions" from the tales I've told...

Dallas.
Well, I'm from Texas. It's my father's fault.
Seriously, I love the Cowboys and follow them religiously.

But don't you dare talk about this: disappointing, shattering, soul crushing, devastating, most ridiculous types of lossesBeings a Cowboys fan has nothing on Cubs fans.

I'm a Giants fan. We didn't have a local team and the Giants were the first team nickname I learned. Yeah, it was that simple. If I had seen the Jets first, it might have been them.
My other half however is a Cowboys fan....ah well.

While football is by far my favorite sport, I'm just not a die hard fan of a team (like I am with the New York Mets). When I first started watching football I was a huge Miami Dolphins fan, but mostly because of Dan Marino.
After Marino retired, I abandoned the Dolphins and got into fantasy football and mostly just followed my fantasy teams.
Now that I live in Jersey and the Jets moved out here a couple years ago and Rex Ryan took over, I find myself rooting more and more for them. Looking forward to seeing them beat out the Pats and finally hosting a playoff game this year.

Steelers = the only team to 'THROW' a Super Bowl. Just ask Neil O'Donnell.
