Just got done watching Daniel Bryan vs. Tyson Kidd on SD. Not only was this a hell of a match, I loved that Booker T kept putting over how the challenger to the World Title at Mania gets such a huge pay day. Almost like they are beginning to build up that just being in that match is good enough for DB (only to have DB not care about money, instead only caring about the belt). I really love the direction they are going with all of this.
It got me thinking, who will be the World Champion when Daniel Bryan cashes in MITB at Mania...?
I put a lot of the usual suspects in the poll, including Big Show because I really believe they might go with this. Show is out with a storyline injury. He comes back as a monster heel, wins the World Title from Christian (or Orton) and hold the belt until Mania where it's a classic David vs. Goliath match for the belt. I actually think Show vs. Daniel Bryan could be a good match.
Jericho returning and winning the belt (maybe at Elimination Chamber) also has a good chance of happening imo. If they want the best "wrestling" match at Mania, Jericho vs. Bryan might be the ticket.

I love that Daniel Bryan is finally getting the push he deserves even if we still have to listen to Michael Cole whining about it. That match with Tyson Kidd rocked, particularly the missile dropkick and Bryan's new guillotine choke finisher. I hope he does make it to WM28 with the title shot and I picked the obvious, Randy Orton, as his opponent. If they keep them away from each other it would I believe be their first match making it something really special for the card.

I also have to go with Randy Orton, Mania is too big of an event to put all on Bryan's shoulders, even though we all know he could sell the crap out of the event.

CM Punk. Somehow Punk ends up on Smackdown ("Raw isn't big enough for the two of us, John." Or something) and wins the World title. This leads us to something Punk hasn't faced in the WWE...a man he can't back into a corner. Bryan, the clean cut vegan who doesn't watch or even own a tv. How would Punk, who's whole style is trying to get the other guy to look worse than Punk due to Punk's social choices, deal with that? Plus the match would just rock all kinds of out loud.

Hey Vidtek, can you book WWE ? I love that idea and Bryan vs. Punk at WM28 would rock. I went with the safe choice in Orton plus it looks like they may build to Punk vs. HHH for the big show. Bryan vs. Punk would be amazing, though.

I actually predicted Bryan vs Punk for Wrestlemania 28 months ago on the CFO at the GBITG. Speaking of CFO, is it happening here too or is Mr. Vegas the last CFO Champion of all time?

I went with Sheamus because they have a past history. But love the Punk idea.

I chose Randy Orton, I think CM Punk is needed on the LIVE Raw broadcasts, he has the following now that is needed on a LIVE show and not knowing what he'll do or say next is great for Raw...

I think ADR heads back to Smackdown and takes on DB at WM.
