What a win in Game 3.
I was a bit worried when NY came back & tied it up 4-4 but D. Young came through in the clutch! Nice to see Valverde get a big time save to help back up his words.
GOT TO CLOSE IT OUT TONIGHT!!
GO TIGERS!

Wow super headache following last night's celebration but well worth it. There's never been a time in my life that Detroit has rocked this hard. Between the Lions being 4-0 headed into their first MNF game in forever and the Tigers heading to the ALCS, it's just an amazing time for D fans everywhere.
Gotta tip my cap to the Yanks. Even with the deflated A-Rod (who at this point is more of a hindrance to the Yankee playoff roster than a help), the Yanks are a scary, intimidating bunch of bats. Personally, nobody from 1-9 on the Yanks had me worried when the series began. Didn't take long before I was biting my finger nails every time Gardner, Posada, and Cano stepped up to the plate. Nobody hit Verlander and Fister like the Yanks did. With that said, how fitting was it to see the Golden Boy whiffing hard to close the show. Man, couldn't have asked for a better ending. Intense!
Next up, Rangers. I love the Tigers chances vs. them. 6-3 in the regular series, the Tigers always play the Rangers tough.
GO TIGERS!

I'm also rooting for the Tigers. Pretty much because I'm a Reds fan and I don't want to root for any National League Team and the Tigers are the closest team from the AL(I also hate the Yankees). Also, loved watching Martinez as a stud this year for my fantasy team, so temporarily, go Tigers!

As I posted in the MLB Post Season thread, One Helluva exciting game none the less with the drama of being tied at 3 each and a Grand Slam to win it in the Bottom of the Inning. I'm going with Detroit winning at home, I can see this series going the full length...

I still think the Tigers can win this series, but they must win tonight. Two very good games in Texas they could have gone either way. Tigers were done yesterday as soon as Scherzer gave up the HR to tie the game. If he gets that 3rd out the Tigers win imo. It's never good when you have to go deeper than Papa Grande.

Reports say Prince Fielder has agreed to terms with the Tigers for 9 years, $214 million.
