- before tonight's RAW in San Jose, Colt Cabana wrestled his second recent dark match for the WWE. He lost to Curt Hawkins.

from Colt's twitter ColtCabana Um. I'm at the gym in Chicago. I'm definitely not at RAW. Someone must have confused me for Batista, we look alike. 20 minutes ago and Punk was tweeting that he was in Hawaii before he returned on RAW 2 weeks ago  |

I saw that Colt Cabana is going to be wrestling for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan for two weeks next month.

I saw that Colt Cabana is going to be wrestling for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan for two weeks next month. I wonder if that means WWE failed to sign him, again? Seems like all the Colt buzz has really died down. |

Between the Japan tour and his being a part of the "Wrestling Revolution Project" I'd say that's a good guess. He'll be alright either way; he's making a living doing what he wants to do and he still gets to be his own boss and have his freedom while he does so. He's one of those guys who has the right combination of attitude and ability to always keep his head above water and succeed.

Yeah, Colt Cabana said on the most recent edition of his podcast this week that his upcoming trip to wrestle for NOAH was originally supposed to be kept a secret and that, while everybody this summer thought he was turning down Indy bookings for a return to the WWE, he instead was turning down those shows due to his upcoming trip to Japan.
