Terror in Tacoma – Night 1:
Finlay & Taylor vs. Destroyer & Maskd Superstar:
Destroyer and Superstar isolated Finlay in their half of the ring and wore him down. Destroyer clamped on the Figure Four Leglock for the win.
Nigel McGuinness vs. Dan Severn:
Severn worked Nigel over, hitting the fireman's carry slam early on for a near fall. Severn hit a big German Suplex but Nigel managed to kick out. Severn locked on the Wakigatame but Nigel rolled through in an attempt to escape the hold. Severn rolled with him and bore down on the arm, getting the submission victory.
Dick Hutton vs. Bob Orton:
Orton attacked Hutton before the bell and hit two brutal piledrivers. The referee got between Orton and Hutton and checked to see if Hutton was able to compete. Hutton waved him away and the referee rang the bell. Orton threw Hutton out to the floor and bodyslammed him on the concrete. Hutton barely beat the count. Orton hit a scoop slam for the win.
Johnny Saint vs. Mr. Fuji:
Fuji took control early on and threw salt in Johnny's eyes. Johnny rolled up into a ball, clutching his face. Fuji took the bait and Saint rolled him up for a near fall with the Johnny Saint Special. Saint locked on the Three in One but Fuji made it to the ropes. Saint wore Fuji down with an elevated surfboard and locked on the Three in One a second time for the win.
Larry Hennig vs. Mr. Saito:
Saito took control early on, frustrating Hennig with his technical skills. Saito scored a near fall with the Oriental Leg Sweep. Saito hit the middle rope knee drop but Hennig kicked out. Saito clamped on the Sleeper but Hennig made it to the ropes. Saito went to the top for a crossbody but Hennig rolled through for a near fall. Hennig rocked Saito with The Axe but couldn't put him away. Hennig hit the Axe a second time but again Saito kicked out. Saito made a comeback and locked on the Scorpion leglock for the win.
Don Leo Jonathan vs. Bobby Shane:
DLJ dropkicked Shane as he was removing his robe and hit the Mormon Swing. Shane didn't submit but was visible shaken. DLJ tried to use his signature hold a second time but Shane thumbed him in the eye and locked on the Japanese Sleeper. Jonathan managed to power out of the hold but Shane locked it on a second time. DLJ went down to one knee but managed to grab the rope. Shane went to the top rope but DLJ leaped to his feet and threw Shane to the mat. DLJ hit the rolling back splash for the win.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Freddie Blassie:
Blassie wore Hacksaw down with the stomach claw and hit the Southern Neckbreaker for a quick win.
Hamilton Wrecking Crew vs. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong (with Jimmy Hart) for the RoC Universal Tag Team tites!:
Chris Tolos and Roderick Strong started the match. The Tolos brothers hit Strong with a fling knee drop for a near fall. John hit the corkscrew, grinding away on Strong's temple, wearing him down. John and Chris made quick tags, trying to put Strong away. Strong made the hot tag to Aries and Aries hit the frog splash on Chris but John made the save. Aries nailed Chris with the Brainbuster and locked on the Last Chancery but he escaped. Chris made a comeback and the brothers hit a flying knee drop on Aries. The brothers brutally double teamed Aries, wearing him down. They hit a flying knee drop and John followed it up with the corkscrew. John hit the thumb to the throat and followed it up with a flying knee drop to retain the gold.
