Who says Goldberg would be booked to beat him? Just think how much of a rub it would be for Crimson to beat him. Goldberg isn't coming out of several years of retirement to job to some nobody hardly anyone cares about in a fed that even less people care about.

I agree... UNLESS he's really hard up for cash. He did try (and fail) to do TV shows a couple times since he left wrestling... maybe he needs the money?
I know, graspin' at straws. What can I say... hope springs eternal.

Goldberg isn't coming out of several years of retirement to job to some nobody hardly anyone cares about in a fed that even less people care about. What exactly is it that TNA does that still has anyone thinking the "young, up and comer" will ever go over the "big name legend"? It's literally NEVER happened even once. Ever. Why would they start now with this Crimson fellow going over Goldberg? And how much of a rub would it be if Crimson did beat him anyways? Goldberg's streak ended 14 years ago. He's lost plenty of matches since. And, he hasn't wrestled in 8 years. And he's in his 40's. Crimson is a full-time wrestler in his 20's. I would hope Crimson would be able to beat Goldberg. The whole thing is a giant mess. Just another example of Bischoff blowing more of other people's money trying to re-create something that worked over a decade ago. That's all Bischoff, Hogan and Russo ever do. TNA is like that scene from Happy Gilmore Billy Madison (thanks Chris oops haha) where Happy Billy goes back to high school ten years later and shows up in a 79' Camaro , jean jacket, and REO Speedwagon t-shirt and thinks he's the man. And instead, everyone laughs at him. That's TNA in a nut-shell. They should just swap out the TNA logo with an REO Speedwagon logo and get it over with.

Hey Rob wasn't the Billy Madison? Happy Gilmore had Happy v Bob Barker, but seeing as both movies came out around the same time I can see the mistake....lol
Seriously though, back to the topic at hand. Goldberg is still a big name in a lot of former WCW wrestling fans and to most people, TNA fans aside, no one knows or cares about Crimson so I can't see him going over Goldberg in the least.
TNA should have given Heyman complete control when he wanted it. If they did I am betting that more fans would care about TNA then they do now.

It's not secret Bishoff is trying to re-create WCW in TNA... why he thinks it'll work with the same talent 10-15 years later.. that's the secret. That said, he's been doing that for a while now with no success.. doesn't someone at some point say 'let's try something else'? Crimson is the first 'homegrown' guy they've featured in a while (unless you count Gunnar and Murphy), so maybe it's a start to a new direction. Of course, maybe pigs will fly to my house and drop off a sack of newly minted 20s tomorrow... it's probably just as likely. One can always hope, though.

I honestly dont even know if Paul Heyman could remove the bad rep that TNA has gained over it's short history, but it would've been interesting to have seen what he would've done. I know he said in a interview he would keep One Legend and then fire the rest and push the young talent. We'll never know I guess what Heyman could've done with and to TNA, but we know the Old Wheel turns for the current TNA regime...

I think Paul has done some incredible stuff, but Paul couldn't fix TNA. He has his own flaws and it would have taken down TNA but in a different way than it currently is.
