I thought the whole show was awesome minus the ending. I'm a huge Cena fan I'm simply SO tired of his current schtick. Here's my problem with it --- we've talked about this first part all year --- they write Cena to be a real jerk. Let's list them out. They've written him to be a liar, a baby, a whiner, a complainer, a guy who's word doesn't mean a damn thing, a completely illogical thinker ("You're gonna call CM Punk the champion just cause he beat me once!?") and COMPLETELY obsessed with the title. They've also written him to be courageous, brave, fearless, driven etc...
Now all this would be great if they acknowledged it. But they don't. Punk started to, but never went all the way with it. If Jesse Ventura or Bobby Heenan (in their announcing primes) would have been on the show last night, we would have hear "OH 'CMON ON! WHY IS CENA OUT HERE? Get in line Cena! You lost! This guy doesn't care about anything but that title - he's obsessed with it! What a glory hog!" but sadly, we don't. We have no good announcers left to help get over all the layers the writers (unintentionally?) give these wrestlers. I mean, the ending to the show last night way stupid. Cena comes out and just conveniently targets the champion --- NOT NASH --- not Nash who without him ADR doesn't cash in MITB --- but Dl Rio, the champ. Maybe I'm over-analyzing this and they just want to do ADR vs. Cena next for whatever reason. It would be a good feud, but I hated how they wrote themselves into it to close the show.
Rest of the show rocked. I'm a little nervous that the show will become dominated by the McMahon's for the billionth time, but I'm hoping this whole thing is the giant springboard for CM Punk (which is how it seems) and next stage of his career.
JMo vs. R-Truth in the FCA match was PPV caliber, as was ADR defending vs. Rey. And I loved ADR's promo to open the show.
I really loved Jack Swagger talking Vickie into "expanding her roster" like old school managers always did it.
Always a fan of a big mystery. Who texted Nash? HHH? Stephanie? Johnny Ace? Vince? Someone else? No one? Real good story and I think it's the beginning of CM Punk's rise to super stardom in the WWE.

I laughed my ass off when Cena came out after a WWE TITLE DEFENSE and said that if Del Rio EVER defended the title. I think Cena is one of the better guys on the stick right now, but seriously to me he is really starting to come off as the biggest cry baby in the history of the sport. It all started with his "Punk only beat me one time" line. Well ONE time is all it takes to lose a title, or is Cena living in a fantasy world where the champ only loses the title when he chooses too...lol
Big props last night to Del Rio who had the fans eating out of his hand. Getting all the cheers before going right back into full heel mode.
Can't wait too see if Vickie starts expanding her stable. I can see Swagger, Otunga & McGillicutty signing with her over the next few weeks. I also loved the pairing of Kofi & Evan, the two even wore similar colors to the ring. JR's comment following the match hit the nail right on the head "Lets heat the tag division up"

I enjoyed Raw, it built on and furthered several stories and the biggest one was who shafted CM Punk out of the WWE Title and seeing Kevin Nash in the ring for me is golden. ADR as the WWE Champion gives him a much needed spotlight that concludes his Destiny storyline and during this arc we still get a mysterious story with CM Punk and all parties involved...
The matches were entertaining enough, I really liked the tag team match having Kofi&Evan winning over the Champs and even the Diva's tag match was not bad and it built on the Beth/Hart vs. Kelly Kelly/Eve story which was simple but to the point...
I really liked Swagger and his interaction with Vickie and the whole build on her as a manager and multiple clientele under her management and the ADR vs. Rey Title Match was a good match that looks to be the last match for now if Rey needs surgery on his knee and sending him out via the post-match attack is good...

By the way, anyone else (who knows SoCal wrestlers or watches NWA Hollywood) notice Joey Ryan, Scorpio Sky, and Shaun Rickers as "security" keeping CM Punk from the ring?

I thought is was a very boring show overall.
I definitely don't need to see a Punk/Nash program, or a Punk Vs. the evil Management angle... that's been done a million times. Nash did that same promo in TNA like 3 years ago to AJ Styles, in fact, when he decided he could (and did) beat the whole X-division by himself.
R-Truth/Morrison was a good match, for sure, but seemed like a blow off, when they already don't have anything for alot of the mid-card.
They spent, what, 20 minutes of the show on commericals between the axxess/bullying package they aired during the PPV and the Miz doing a subway commercial.
I guess the Vickie thing was progress, but she's got 'flip to the red sox' heel heat for me, so I don't relish seeing more of her.. I only watched because the Sox had an off day. OTOH, Swagger needs something, so it make sense... just wish it was ANYONE but Vickie.
Women's match was sorta a waste, with no furthering of that angle.. why not have beth and Natalya wipe out both teams post-match?
ADR-Rey was a good match, but it was obvious with the Rey flashbacks he wasn't gonna win.
Cena was just dumb... the 'if you ever defend the title' line was really riduculous.
I do like Kofi/Evan Bourne as a team... I wouldn't mind them being a regular team, and they could put on a good PPV match at NoC if they go that route.

Yeah, I guess I am sort of repeating myself since I just wrote it on another thread before I read what Rayge wrote here, but I saw Scorpio Sky as security last night. I also saw Joey Ryan in the front row at Summerslam and (although I didn't personally notice anyone except for Joey Ryan because I was sitting on the other side and other corner of the ring) I read that Scorpio Sky and Rickers were among the other wrestlers sitting with Ryan at Summerslam.

I was waiting for Punk to drop the bomb on Nash in his promo about running WCW out of business with the high $ contracts, and similar to his stint in TNA as well. Sorry Nash, but when you and Hall invaded WCW, you didn't pave the way for guys like Punk to big money contracts in WCW, you only padded your buddies' wallets and other big names...not the little guys. This is why he's such a piece of crap... /rant.

There's a really good idk what u would call it... A round table discussion about the nwo, it was hall or Nash fault wcw ran into the ground. It was mainly they never, NEVER made money off a ppv because they didn't build the company to make money, it was made to put the wwf out of business. So instead of running it like a business they just spent all billionaire ted's money. It's called legends of wrestling nwo. Do we have a video section I should try & post it.

You know, the segment where CM Punk tore Kevin Nash a new one was so entertaining that I think most of us missed just how awesome the next segment was. I was reading about it on another message board, and decided to watch the replay of the Alex Riley-Jack Swagger match - and the commentary with Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero was GOLD!!
Seriously, Michael Cole was barely able to add his obnoxious character in the broadcast because as the cameras showed, he was having WAY too much trouble containing his laughter. I hope they don't break up Dolph and Vickie for a while... the two of them bickering is WAY too funny!
