okay...on the recommendation in the Team you Love thread...here is you chance to let it all out about those other guys. I'll Start...
I hate the denver PUKOS (aka...denver DONKEYS)
i think i would still punch elway if i ever met him...shannon sharpe, please shut up about your playing days would you...i just hate everything about the franchise...after living in Colorado Springs for almost 4 years and having to hear the pukos fans whine every day,and i mean EVERYDAY, about that team on the radio, TV and in the papers. It really is enough to make you want to puke! I absolutely loved going to see the RAIDERS play in Denver when i was in the Springs...I loved rubbing it in when the RAIDERS took it too them when the pukos were supposed to be so superior.
Honorable mentions go to the patriots...BRADY, IT WAS A FUMBLE, that day and FOREVER!
And another individual honorable mention goes to Tony Siragusa...fat @$$. 2000 AFC Championship game, clean sack on Gannon, then the extra little pick up and slam on the ground to injure his ribs and knock him out on the first series. Final score was 16 - 13 and if Gannon had been playing, no way the RAIDERS lose. Dumb @$$ siragusa should have been ejected for the extra hit...

in college basketball, for me it used to be BYU as they were the main enemies of my school UNLV
but now that BYU took its whiny butt out of the Mountain West Conference starting this year, I am not sure there is a team I really dislike anymore. I just want my teams (Seahawks and UNLV) to win no matter who they play.
Edit: I just realized this thread was in the NFL forum (I first saw it by looking at New Topics.) but BYU was really the only team in any sport I strongly disliked.

The Dallas Cowboys! America's team... whatever. I cant stand them and it sucks living in Oklahoma with the NFL, the local games we get are either Dallas or Kansas City Chiefs. I get lucky sometimes and can catch an Oakland Raiders game on ESPN or Monday Night Football. But yeah, most of the time Im stuck with the damn Cowboys.

PACKERS!! The longest rivalry in the NFL. I despise the Packers. And the first time a Bear went to play for the Pack, I went nuts!!
49er's: Residual hate from the mid to late 80's when the 9er's knocked the Bears out of the playoffs a couple years.
Cowboys: Cowboys fans are the most pretentious anywhere. Especially in their dynasty years in the 90's
Vikings and Lions: Only cause they reside in the NFC North.

I can't stand the Cowboys....I loathe those overrated unachievers...I mean, who else would blame a team's loss on Jessica Simpson (who was dating Romo at the time) jinxing the game...lame! Jerry Jones is the biggest pr*ck this side of the Mississippi river and so full of himself it just makes me nauseous everytime I hear him speak.... As I hate the Cowboys, I kinda like the rivalry with the Iggles and Giants...seems like this one is getting nasty fans! Washington has been in the sh*tter for awhile and I don't think they'll get out of it anytime soon. |

The Steelers. I've never liked the Steelers at all, there's a slew of slightly older people in this area who are Steelers fans, simply because they won when they were little, plus they drafterdRoethlisberger, whom I had hung out with at Miami(OH)(prior to the bathroom incidents), and they seem to always play very dirty. Plus, for the greater part of my existence, they have owned my Browns.

Mine change. I really only have one team I truly hate and that is Michigan State.
In the NFL, it changes. For years it was the Colts, even though I had nothing against the team, I just hated the fans so much. Such posers. They were obsessed with the Patriots. I guess some still are. They care more about the Pats losing than they do about their own Colts winning. And they'll admit that.
Also the Steelers for similar reasons mentioned by Jmello. Steeler fans LOVE to talk about 6 rings even if they've only been alive for 2 or 3 of them.
Eagles fans are delusional. Philly fans hate EVERYTHING - but they support Micheal Vick. And they treated the best guy that's played for them since Randall Cunningham like crap his whole career. The Eagles are just one of those teams you want to see lose.
Speaking of wanting to see lose, the Jets. Rex Ryan is a great villain. I cheer against them every game and love doing it.

NY Yankees like a lot of people because they "buy" their World Series rings and they thump on my Twins like all the time  It's died down a lot with me on them, but I still like to see them lose. NYG and Colts- Mainly for the reasons Rob said with the Colts, plus the Mannings. I just despise them. I think Eli is a little overrated and Peyton can be a whiny bitch, even though he's a great future HOF QB. I don't take anything away from him in that regard. |
