Well, that will put a crimp in the tourney, but you have to do what's best for everyone.

I read that Osaka Pro's Tadasuke defeated Green Ant in the finals tonight. No idea who this guy is. It appears like CHIKARA has an excellent working relationship with Osaka Pro, as they're willing to put all their guys way over. Maybe CHIKARA wants as many talented allies as possible with a possible TV deal in the future. I was sure it would be Peck, Jakob, Green Ant or Iron.

Don't be surprised if Green Ant wins the title soon enough. Apparently he's one of several going over to Osaka Pro for some sort of tour.

can't wait to pick this show up on DVD, which I wouldn't be surprised if it were already available as of this post.

Hey,
Has anyone watched this yet? I'm in the process of deciding my next Chikara dvd purchase and need some opinions on the show. I'm on the fence between this or Chikarasaurus Rex night one (already have night two). Leaning towards the latter. Just judging by the lineup YLC may be a pass for me unless someone gives it a great review.

The final 2 matches of Chikarasaurus Rex Night 1 wwere really good. The rest of the show was a bit slow (except 3.Ole come to think of it). I havent seen YLC, but its a ton of stuff on one disc, and some interesting 12 Large Summit matches. I can see arguments for both. But if you wanted one DVD and havent gotten the Chicago show from this year I would get that one.

But if you wanted one DVD and havent gotten the Chicago show from this year I would get that one. Already have it. You're right, it's a great show. Chikarasaurus Rex night one probably wins out for me because I want to see the Claudio/Quackenbush match more than anything on the YLC lineup. Actually, it's probably CR night one and the Taylor show next. YLC is only in the running because, like you wrote, that's a lot of content on one DVD and if someone gave it a great review I'd give it a chance.
