Maple Leaf Gardens Doctor D Dave Shultz defeated Jay Youngblood with a corkscrew elbow in 16:03. Irish Mickey Doyle beat Tiger Jeet Singh with a top rope splash. Sailor Art Thomas was mauled by Ted The Wrestling Bear in a special attraction match. Edourdo Carpentier defeated Sweet Daddy Siki with a reverse somersault in 13:55. Ken Patera won a 10 man over the top battle royal eliminating Leo Burke. Gene Kiniski beat MLW Champion Whipper Billy Watson with a big thunder clothesline capturing the MLW title
Legends News Samu has joined Alofa ( now recovered from an injury by the Valiants) in the LOFT. Samu and Alofa will compete in the upcoming LOTF tag team tournament. Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase has left the LWF for the Memphis Territory. The LWF has signed deals with the Masked Superstar , Danny Hodge , and The Midnight Express along with their manager Jim Cornette. All of them are set to make thier LWF debuts in August

Notes Jones started off the match with a series of flying dropkicks and suplexes but Hodge was able to turn the tables quickly with an indian deathlock. Good overall match with Hodge winning with his Oklahoma Side Roll in 13:49. Billy Red Lyons and Red Bastein won their first match and at the same time spoiled the LWF debut of the Midnight Express with a Lyons figure four leglock on Dennis Condrey. It was the battle of the abdominal stretch VS the figure four as Bob Backlund and The Destroyer tried their best to get a submission with no luck. Backlund finally got the upper hand when he hooked The Destroyer in a rolling backbridge for the win in 18:25. The Iron Shiek force Jimmy Valiant to tap out to a camel clutch in 14:47. Nick Bockwinkel captured the United States title and handed Mil Mascaras his first LWF loss with a boston crab in 13:11
Superbowl Of Wrestling - coming up in September from the Citrus Bowl in Orlando Florida is the 1st annual Superbowl Of Wrestling featuring wrestlers from the LOW , LOTF and other promotions from around the wrestling world matches already signed include Harker Dirge & Sam Hayne defending their LOTF team titles against Chris Hero & Mike Quackenbush, Timber defending his LOFT title against Delerious, Dream Machine (Memphis) VS Bobo Brazil (LWF) , and Japanese Champion Rikidozan taking on LWF Champion Harley Race or Buddy Rogers depending on the outcome of Race's title defense later this month

Notes after a Jones power body slam and potenial pin Sherri Dupree jumped on the ring apron distracting Jones and spraying him in the eye with perfume. George quickly took advantage and rolled up Jones in a small package using the tights. S.D Jones pummels George after the bell and is attacked from behind by Dupree with a steel chair. George takes delight in climbing the top turnbuckle and delivering a top rope knee drop to his wounded opponent's head. Frank Gotch quickly disposes of Danny Hodge with a Gotch Toe Hold in 5:09. Bob Armstrong had the crowd on the edge of their seats with a knee lift and a count of 2 and half in the opening seconds of the match. The Masked Superstar proves it's nothing but a fluke by dominating the remainder of the match and defeating Armstrong with a spinning neckbreaker. Jimmy Superfly Snuka shocks everyone at the coliseum by walking out with his new manager Captain Lou Albano. Snuka goes on to lose the match by disqualification for double teaming Brazil outside the ring with his new manager Albano. The Midnight Express defeated The Steiner brothers with a double goozle on Rick Steiner. Playboy Buddy Rose struggles once again and misses a critical tag to partner Curt Hennig allowing the Road Warriors to win the match and retain their titles. After the match Rose and manager Bobby Heenan have words as Hennig attacks Rose from behind. Heenan and Hennig give Rose an old fashioned beat down before leaving the ring

Notes - The Masked Superstar defeated Ivan Koloff with a spinning neckbreaker in 12:09. Ivan Koloff's Abysmal 0-7 record is fast approaching Buddy Rose's 0-10 singles record. Gorgeous George forced The Destroyer to tap out to a spinning toe hold following a knee drop from the top rope. The Flying Redheads pull out another big win with a victory over the Iron Sheik & Nickolai Volkoff with a Red Bastien flying dropkick. Ronnie Garvin and Ox Baker took the action out of the ring early on in the match and continued to duke it out in the crowd long after the ref declared the match a double disqualification. Bob Backlund and Frank Gotch tested each other's endurance and technical skills for 30 minutes with neither man ever having a clear advantage. The match was declared a draw at the 30 minute mark. Buddy Rogers took a severe beating from LWF Champion Harley Race but managed to kick out of 5 pin attempts. Race ended the match with a diving headbutt to retaining his title
