Creating an entire federation of wrestlers is a very time-intensive and grueling, but ultimately satisfying experience. Thanks to the art of The Warsman for my WWF 1986 set, I have had a renewed interest in bootlegging once more. It's been too long!
I often start projects and don't finish. Concerning COTG/LOW I sometimes make commitments to jobs and do not finish (to my regret). However, I list here a tentative group of a few things I have in the pipeline:
WWF 1987
If you haven't seen the roster from 1985 or 1986, if you see someone obvious missing they are people already made. Also, I don't do any wrestlers that are official LOW cards UNLESS I feel like there will be a significant enough difference in gimmick (i.e. Brutus Beefcake as The Barber) to warrant a redesign. I always start from scratch in these instances. Here is the list I'm working with at the moment.
Adorable Adrian Adonis
Honky Tonk Man
One Man Gang
Dino Bravo
Bam Bam Bigelow
Brutus Beefcake
"The Natural" Butch Reed
Billy Graham
Rick Martel
Tom Zenk
Demolition Ax
Demolition Smash
Paul Roma
"Outlaw" Ron Bass
Outback Jack
Sam Houston
Killer Khan
Danny Davis
Brady Boone
Barry Horowitz
Brad Rheingans
Terry Gibbs
Pete Doherty
Frenchy Martin
I'm excited at the prospect of creating guys that have never had a card made - official or bootleg. If you see someone missing that I should add, let me know soon - I'll be completed within two weeks. Hopefully The Warsman resurfaces to do art

This was always the dream set for me. I know a lot of people either wanted to make or play with these guys. My favorite fed of all time. The obstacle was always finding enough footage to do the set correctly. Making a bootleg set of Legends is a whole different animal than making a COTG set (though I would say no more skill-intensive). It takes hours upon hours of video watching and note-taking to get a card as accurate as possible.
When I create cards, I strive to never have a move on a card I haven't seen the wrestler perform at least 3 times (if possible). Well, I've come across a TON of World Class shows and now can make the set as I have hoped to for years. This is the roster I'm working for:
-01. Kerry Von Erich
-02. Kevin Von Erich
-03. Michael "P.S." Hayes
-04. Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy
-05. Gino Hernandez
-06. Chris Adams
-07. Buddy Roberts
-08. Iceman King Parsons
09. Lance Von Erich
-10. David Von Erich
-11. Jimmy Garvin
12. Brian Adias
-13. Kamala
-13. Bobby Fulton
-14. Tommy Rogers
15. The Great Kabuki
16. Matt Borne
-17. Jake Roberts
-18. Buck Zumhoffe
19. Jose Lothario
20. The Grappler
-21. Mike Von Erich
22. Jack Victory
23. Super Destroyer #1
24. Super Destroyer #2
25. Eric Embry
26. Dingo Warrior
27. Abdullah the Butcher
28. Steve Simpson
29. Killer Tim Brooks
30. Fritz Von Erich
31. Skandor Akbar
32. Gary Hart
The cards preceded by dashes are cards I have already created years ago, but will revisit for balance reasons with the newer cards I'll be making.
LOWcreations
I deleted my Yahoo account not thinking that it meant I couldn't access the site anymore. My slip! Sometime, somewhere I'll have the site up and running again. Any suggestions for where it could be housed would be much appreciated.
Any suggestions for the future? Work I should do? I don't know how long my urge will last this time around, but I'm ready to roll!
