Why isn't Cam Newton dancing on the field and throwing down 12 signs tonight? Perhaps because he got outplayed by a better QB in Russel Wilson?

I am in Seattle for Christmas and tonight I got to watch my Seahawks, who this offseason lost more players than the Avengers lost members at the end of Infinity War, clinch a playoff spot. I definitely did not forsee this happening when the season started. This is probably Pete Carroll’s best coaching performance ever this year (now 7 playoff seasons in 9 years with Carroll!)

And speaking of the Seahawks, today they just signed Pete Carroll to an extension through 2021! Well deserved, especially for the amazing job he did this season.
