[ Giving guys new ring names isn't humiliating them. I also don't see how Vince is "sticking it to the indie guys." You mean letting them sign developmental contracts with the best/most prosperous wrestling company in the history of the world? Look at how he stuck it to CM Punk & Daniel Bryan. ;D Well even though they've got titles, it doesn't seem like Punk and DB have been pushed too well. Punk keeps crying to Ace every chance he gets and DB has rarely won a clean match since MITB. I don't know, maybe it's just their way of making the new guys earn their dues. It just seems like Vince looks down on guys coming from the indies, as opposed to those who the WWE have 'grown' themselves. I don't like Punk's current character either but that doesn't mean he isn't being pushed well, because he clearly is. Biggest pops on RAW and right there w Cena in merch sales. He's the champ. What else is there to ask for? Personal tastes aside, it's impossible to argue that either of these guys is not being pushed well. DB is the main guy on Smackdown. The whole show revolves around him. How many guys will one day retire and be able to say that? Is BD murdering everyone like he did in ROH, tapping guys right and left? No. But that doesn't mean he's not being pushed well. I think accusing Vince of being "out to get" Indy guys is a little paranoid. If Benoit and Eddie being duel champs wasn't enough to get people off Vince's back, Punk and DB as duel champs should. Really, it's the checkmate. Nobody has any business ever slamming Vince about Indy guys, or having an infatuation with only body builders. Yet you can still find those arguments somewhere in the IWC every day. Chris Hero just got signed to a deal with the WWE after months of struggles. WWE didn't have to sign him at all (far as we know) after the drug test fail, but they worked with him, and eventually, signed him. That says they see something in him, not that they are out to get him. No name will ever be cooler than Chris Hero, but his new name tying into KO is a good sign. Dude just showed up on the site this week. Let's give it more than 10 minutes before we start ripping apart Vince and accusing him of some personal agenda of trying to ruin Hero's life and career with a simple name change.

You guys who don't like that name aren't seeing the potential. Kassius Ohno : initials "KO". KO Kid, The OhNo KO, and so on. It stands out, it's different, and it's unlike all of the other cookie cutter "average guy names". I like it. Good call on the KO initials. Check out the new logo he is using on twitter: twitter.com/#!/KassiusOhno

Okay Swarm, 10 minutes. I'm happy that he's got a nice paycheck coming, but I'm not counting on much, at least at first.
I do hope that I'm wrong though.

It's actually good that they change these guys name because in a lot of cases the WWE wants the rights to the names. That's why Lo Ki said he changed his name to Kaval. So now is it doesn't work out with the WWE Hero can go back to being Chris Hero instead of having to come up with a new identity. I never got used to Team 3D, to me they are always the Dudley Boys.
And for anyone that thinks that Vince looks down on indy wrestling, why do you think ROH isn't as strong as they were a few years ago? Because a lot of their top guys work for WWE now. Sorry they don't push them straight to the moon like some of you want, but the WWE has proven time in again that they don't care where you come from. If you can make them money you will get pushed.

That's actually well said and a good point. Therefore, I quote you with the following: STRONG! Vince has the beloved Bryan Danielson / Daniel Bryan as World Heavyweight Champion. That's something, really. If Vince hated the indy guys, we'd have Mason Ryan as champ.
