Fear The Walking Dead (the prequel) is this summer! Just seen an announcement on MTV.com over the weekend. Supposedly it's about when the Zombie Apocalypse occurs while Rick is in his coma in the hospital. Should be a really cool series to help fill in the blanks as to why/how it all started! I'm really looking forward to watching that! I am looking forward to it too and I read the 1st season is only 6 episodes and the 2nd season in 2016 will be a full episode season. Here is what they have written on IMBd... What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in "The Walking Dead"? This spin-off set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world, will answer that question.yep, just watched the trailer on amc.com Looks pretty sweet. If just waiting for the warm up of summer wasn't enough, now I have to wait for more "Dead!" Ugh, come on Summer! Hurry up and get here already!

It almost sounds like the six episode first season will be a complete "life before" vibe to it. You won't start to hear about or see anything related to a "walker" until the third episode or so. It will be cool if they do it this way. How do you go from a normal life to one of extreme chaos? Will it be like World War Z or even the remake of Dawn of the Dead, in that it all turns to hell pretty quickly? Or a more gradual turn of events?

Rick and the crew are back! Fear the Walking Dead was a cool distraction... But, nothing beats the original, in my eyes...
Morgan was always one of my favorite characters (played by one of my favorite TV actors) and I really hope he sticks around for awhile... He plays an excellent counterpoint to Rick's evolving opinions on how to survive...
I really enjoyed the season premier and cannot imagine where the story is going next... I've read the comics (to a certain point), but I've always been a big fan of the show taking little sidetrips, while its plot meanders in the same general direction...
Regardless of what new characters arrive... And what new predicaments arise... This is THE show that I can't wait to watch each and every week... Good times!

I thought the premiere was good, but nothing really stood out overall. I'm sure the rest of the season will pick up, but I just didn't think this was a good start to this new season. I even thought Talking Dead wasn't that good, just plain. I really enjoyed Fear and maybe having these shows back to back might be burn out, but we'll see...

I enjoyed this week's return. See I thought there was a ton going on. I thought they would ease into the season, but went right into some crazy stuff with the quarry of zombies. Looks like an action packed season. I am caught up to the current storyline in the comics as well.

yes, there was a lot of going back and forth from what happened earlier to present time line, and the mega herd of zombies was incredible. I think this season will rock! Rick gets more intense and insane every season. ha.

Now that was what I wanted to see, a killer episode and Melissa McBride has truly become my favorite actress in her role as Carol. This episode Carol was bad ass and I'm looking forward to see where they take her...
