In the six seasons of TWD, this season has been the most episodes I've thought were let downs and the mid-season finale was decent. I know they're saying the next episode in February will be killer and I hope it is, but we'll see... TWD is my absolute favorite show, but I must agree... Other than the phenomenal 'Morgan origin story' and Glenn's closer call, there hasn't been much that has stood out so far this season... Here's hoping they kick it off with a big bang in February... Really looking forward to the start of Black Sails season 3... But, that's a story for a different thread...  A few co-workers of mine agree on it being a down season so far, I do have to make a side track in FARGO season 2. That has been a great show and what's nice it's only one season and that's plenty, anyway a break from TWD is needed... |

So far I've thought this season hasn't been too bad. Except:
Morgan has to go.
Jessie's kids have to go.
The smearing ourselves with zombie guts trick doesn't fly with me. If it was that good, they would do it ALL the time. In the current situation, with a group of people and a ton of zombies, I don't think it would work. And it might not.
Glenn's fake death was lazy storytelling. A cheap sympathy pop. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's still alive but I question that he would have survived that situation. They were basically f**king with their audience to get some media hype. Weak.
Fear The Walking Dead still stands out as a better show to me.

I wanted Glenn dead that way or not at all and go away from the comic book. I'll say Fear season 1 was far better than this season of TWD, but FTWD could head into the same direction TWD is in. Anyway, we'll see what happens next year... |

It was awesome to see my favorite character in the comics finally arrive... Although he hasn't had much screen time yet, it looks like they did an excellent job of casting the part... The group's world is about to get a whole lot bigger...
Of course, with that bigger world comes a much bigger bad man... And Lucille...
Enjoying the second half of this season so far... Fingers crossed!

The whole storyline of the chase with Rick, Darryl and Jesus was some of the best this show has been in a longtime in my opinion. It made this episode so much fun to watch.
Also, if you aren't aware, there's a Walking Dead miniatures game that's on Kickstarter right now. I'm in!
