The Season Two opener I thought was far better then the Season One opener for sure. The only problem about AMC promoting Season 2 for the last month and heavily yeaterday is I saw how certain things were going to happen. I agree the ending was intense but as soon as Carl started moving toward the deer I figured thats when he would be shot and in the preview clips you saw his father Rick running with him in his arms that AMC ran like crazy. Other than that, The Walking Dead really is a Great series and a must watch... Thats the exact reason I avoided the season 2 previews when they came on. I constantly switched to the NFL when they came on. So I was completely surprised and very shocked when the ending happened. God I love Sundays!!

I wasn't too upset with the preview clips, because this series is Solid from start to finish. I watched Talking Dead show and it was okay but nothing special. I love the looks of Hell on Wheels a great looking Western, that'll be another great addition to the AMC Sunday line-up...

Yeah, I dvr'd Talking Dead but when I started watching it I felt that it would give away too many things so I stopped. Huge fan of Chris Hardwick though.

I like Hardwick but honestly them having people on the Talk Show who have nothing to do with the actual show is not at all interesting. I'm still going to watch it, they have some cool behind the scene footage & notes...

I got to say, I really sympathize with Shane in all of this. He essentially saves his best friend without realizing it. Saves his best friends wife and kid and looks out for them. He was probably harboring feelings for his best friends wife anyway, so it was only natural for those two to fall for each other. Then Rick comes back and rips everything out from under him without knowing it. On top of that, Laurie is kind of being a bitch in the way she is acting towards Shane.
And then, not saying that Andrea isn't cute but Amy was way hotter.....but dead. So not knowing if anyone else is alive, he is kind of alone at this point.

It'll be interesting to see if Rick finds out that Laurie & Shane were bumping uglies and to see him tail spin further into chaos. Dale knows what Shane is about and I could see him being the one spilling the beans to Rick. Well with Laurie she is a loose one and conflicted like everyone else and she wasn't happy with Rick pre-Zombies and then when she thought he was dead fell for Shane...
I never read the 89 issues but I'd like to know how long Rick was out during the time the Zombies took the planet over and I still wonder with the first scene of the pilot where Rick is looking for gas and that girl Zombie he shoots is the end of the series, because he's alone and in his Sheriffs Uniform...

I wouldn't say she was loose. She even said that when he was in the hospital that she wished that they would not have fought; that she could take it all back. Also, we've all been there. I know I certainly have. You may have an attraction to your best friends wife and she may have a small one for you. But neither of you will let anything happen because of loyalty. Then the whole world ends and, well, f it. This is kind of what I gather about the timeline. Jenner said in one of his transmissions that it had been 193 days since "Wildfire" was released and 63 days since it went global. My thought is that "wildfire" was a government experiment of some sort that went terribly wrong. So, Rick was in a coma for at least 2 months. Kind of hard to speculate any further than that because we don't know how long from the release of "wildfire" to the point of its actual contamination. I don't think it went global the same day it started but I don't think the public was aware of it either. Side note. How much did it piss you of when at the beginning of the first episode, Rick is on the walkie talkie and he says, "The doctor told me something.....but thats not important right now". I was like, WTF!

I thought it was a great twist when Rick did not mention what Jenner said to him, it's one of those great damn you moments. I bring the timeline up is that the Lady Torso Zombie from the webisodes and the Pilot is shown decomposing so I'd say it had to be several weeks to a month or so wheb she transformed. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see whats next with Carl being shot and how that'll effect the group and if they find the girl...

Another excellent episode, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Shane & Otis at the Hospital and just the overall story unfolding...
